I know its been mentioned!! - but the location is stunning.
It is so spectacular its difficult to take it in - even after looking for a week. Elounda is a great place. We have two young children, and the beaches and friendly restaurants were a hit with all of us.

The villa was extremely comfortable, and I get the impression Nigel is constantly looking to improve things, which is good news for future visitors.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, in an unbeatable location, this is the place.

Holiday in July / August

I have to say the villa was all we expected and more !!
The views over looking the bay and Elounda have to be seen to be believed.
The accomodation, the atmosphere, is absolutley wonderful, I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a get away from it all holiday.
The weather in late July and early August was 42C, so the pool was a huge benefit to us.
I would certainly hope to go back in the future.
Tony and Mandy are two of the nicest people you are ever likely to meet.

Thankyou Nigel, Thankyou Mary

Happy Holidays

The photographs of this holiday home do not disappoint. We were over the moon when we arrived. The villa was beautifully designed and extremely comfortable with all the trappings of your own home. The pool was to die for with the most amazing views. We were also thrilled with the location as we found Elounda the perfect mixture of restaurants and bars without loosing the local feel of the fishing harbour. Obviously you will need a car to get to the villa and you need to be prepared to tackle the poor road that leads to the villa. The only negative were the mosquitos at night. They put us off sitting out at night to enjoy the views.

this is the perfect place to unwind. i spent a week having a wonderfully relaxing time. we spent most of our time reading on the terrace, walking down the path to elounda and swimming in the lovely pool.

Although it was may the weather was amazing with bright sunshine every day.

the perfect place - i had a wonderful time!

we stayed from Mar 20-29, 09 and it is breathtaking. If you want relaxation this is the place to be. The people are so friendly. One resturant owner says what is mine is yours and they really mean it. Would definitely go back. Thanks Nigel.

Very beautiful house with an incredible sea view.
It is very quiet and you can rest all day long near the pool.
The owner is very nice and helpful.

You just need to rent a car to go to the house as it is a really bumpy road to reach it.

Beautiful villa with spectacular views

We stayed in the villa for 8 nights in June 2008. Simply stunning views across the bay from the terrace, where we spent many a sunny day relaxing by the pool and plenty of warm evenings watching the moon come up. Elounda is a pretty town with a number of good bars and restaurants - all accessible on foot from the villa in under half an hour (although high heels are not recommended for the walk!). There's plenty to do in the towns and villages around Elounda (Agios Nikolas, Spinalonga etc) although you really need to hire a car for this and be prepared for some small roads/tracks to get to the best locations. The villa is well equiped with TV/DVD, books, CDs, ipod speakers etc (although we didn't spend much time inside as we enjoyed a cloud-less sky for the entire holiday). All in all, a fantastic trip - and we would definitely recommend to families, couples or groups of friends looking for perfect, secluded relaxation with easy access to a town.

Fabulous Villa: Highly Recommended

Review Submitted: July 6, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Visited June 2008. This is a superb villa, ideal for families and groups of friends. The location provides spectacular views and complete privacy whilst also being close to Elounda, a lovely little town with a beautiful harbour and nice restaurants. The terraced area catches the sun throughout the day, making it perfect for relaxing and sunbathing all week long, however we also took trips to nearby Spinalonga, Plaka and Agios Nikoloas. The bedrooms are all extremely spacious and offer the same beautiful views as the terrace and pool. We made full use of the DVDs, books, games and IPOD speakers that are in the house - a lovely addition that not many other villas we have stayed at provide. We stayed for 8 nights, enjoyed perfect weather and can safely say we shall be
returning next year!
