What a Holiday !

Review Submitted: August 24, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Myself and my wife recently spent 3 weeks here with our two children. This is our fifth time to spend our holidays in Vale do Lobo and I have to say it was the best experience yet. Prior to arriving I found Eona 110% attentative with all our needs and my numerous questions. On arrival we were very impressed with the villa. You feel like you are in someones home as the attention to detail is excellent. We found Bob very attnetative throughout our stay and Cecila was nothing short of excellent! The pool heating was a winner with my wife and children and meant you could stay in the pool for hours playing. We were a week into our stay before I discovered the fridge under the bbq at the pool ! What a touch!! The location is very secluded and private and it is a very nice stroll down to the Praca in the evenings.!
I would highly reccomend this Villa to anyone considering Vale do Lobo as a holiday destination.

Wonderful vacation home

Review Submitted: September 2, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Having traveled all the way from Texas, we were thrilled to arrive and find this property was all that we hoped it would be. The villa is very conveniently located while still being privately situated. The lay out of the home is wonderful. The sleeping arrangements are perfect with bathrooms for all bedrooms, two of which are en suite. It is a glorious feeling to wake up in the morning and wander out of the lower bedrooms onto the patio. The landscaping is beautiful and the pool and hot tub very inviting. The house is very tastefully furnished yet still comfortable and welcoming. This is a well-maintained, beautifully decorated property with everything needed to make your stay there a wonderful experience. We intend to return the next time we visit Europe.

Thank you Barry and Eona for a lovely vacation

The perfect holiday headquarters.

My family and friends enjoyed the week we spent beginning each day with fresh pastries from the local bakery, a round of golf and lunch at vale do lobo, an afternoon swim in the secluded pool, cocktails at the local beach bars, dinner on the veranda, and soaking in the hot tub before retiring. Ok, we varied the schedule a bit each day to take in a few local sites and dinner down the coast, but you get the idea. It was absolutely fabulous.

The villa is well appointed, clean, and the tips from the owners on where to see a fabulous sunset or how to access the workout facilities at the resort center, and even where the best deals were on auto rentals was very helpful. You can't go wrong with this lovely villa.

Great villa, great location, great holiday

If you're looking for a 'home away from home' then this villa is for you. Conveniently located and very comfortably furnished, the villa has something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the seclusion of the pool area, given that past villas we have stayed in have often been overlooked by other properties. Eona also could not have been more helpful in ensuring that our stay was as good as it could possibly be. I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone therefore.

Fantastic holiday

Review Submitted: May 9, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We had a fantastic holiday staying in your villa. The villa was very homely and we felt very relaxed from the moment we arrived.

The pool was great and lovely and warm so our 2 year old son was very happy swimming in it all week. We enjoyed having barbeques on the terrace and it was also good to have the convenience of several restaurants and the beach within 15 minutes walk.

Overall it was everything we had hoped for and we would love to return next year (as would our parents!)

Thank you for a lovely holiday

When we arrived I realised that we had stayed here over 15 years ago! Your villa is a credit to you , very comfortable , and the hot tub was fantastic. Spent most of our time flitting between the warm pool and the tub - sheer joy.
The rooms were very comfortable and everything was included to make our stay reaaly enjoyable.

Would have no hesitation in coming back and indeed intend to do so. So well done and thankyou for sharing your villa with us.

Fantastic Villa

Review Submitted: March 24, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We stayed here for a week in March with our 5 month old baby and its was fantastic (the weather too!).

The villa is well located, excellently maintained and remarkably secluded. The pool was heated (included in rental fee, other charge extra) and warm enough for our 5month old to get her first taste of swimming!

The villa is very homely and Eona and Barry have thought of everything. The overall experience in booking this villa is also top class with Barry and Eona providing excellent caring pre, during and after stay service. They even arranged for some shopping to be in the house for when we arrived!

I would highly recommend this villa to anyone and we will definitely stay there again should we find ourselves back in Vale De Lobo (which I also highly recommend as an all round family friendly resort).

Thanks Barry and Eona.

Travelling to Vale do Lobo for the first time we were hugely impressed. On entering the villa we could see immediately this was a top quality property, spotlessly clean, heating switched on for us, swimming pool heated and ready to use.Everything one needs is on hand, a couple minutes walk to a supermarket,restaurant/bar,beach at ten minutes walk. You can even rent a car if you want to explore further afield.

Vale de Lobo Excellence

As seasoned renters of Portuguese villas we would definitely place this within the top three.

It ticks most boxes and its attentive staff make for a memorable stay. Candida (the management representative)is on hand or at the end of the phone to help and advise on any aspect of the villa. Francina (the maid) is a mine of information and speaks very good English.

We travelled widely from here on a good network of roads and visited the west coast - Sagres to Aljezur - and also the Alentejo region.

At the end of a long day try a Chinese takeaway from Ken Lo's Memories of China. They don't deliver but it's only a few minutes' drive from the villa.
