We had the most amazing chilled out holiday in this lovely lakeside villa - it is, indeed, a luxury villa and is exactly as the description states. So comfortable, clean and with everything we needed. The best thing was 'falling' out of bed and into the swimming pool each morning - lazy breakfasts eaten by the pool with the beautiful lake to look at. We visited wonderful beaches, the State Park (fascinating), shops, cinema and went to the theatre twice. We found all the restaurants we went to were excellent, both in terms of service and food. There was plenty to do - this villa is ideal whatever type of holiday you want - from completely lazy to hectic and busy!! it's all there to be had. We also loved the family of cranes living by the lake. However - we didn't see Snappy, so, oh dear - we'll have to come back another time!!!

Fabulous villa

The villa is outstanding a real home-from-home. It is in an ideal location - quiet yet close to all local amenities. Beaches glorious and fantastic restaurants not too far away either. Kids loved playing in the pool after a days shopping or being at the beach. Look out for the dollar cinema at DeSoto mall - excellent value for up to date films. Hopefully we'll be back to this villa in the near future.

Quite simply this is a superb, well-maintained property that has all the facilities needed for a great holiday.
It is ideally located (in a quiet residential area) for the excellent beaches of the Gulf Coast, to go exploring the area and for the shops.
This is the second time we've stayed at this particular villa and we would have no hesitation in returning next year.

This is an excellent propert & Exactly as portreyed in the pictures.The pool area is lovely being next to the lake makes it very tranquile, The lake was visited every day by a family of cranes and other water birds. You can also watch the fish jumping out of the water. The lake also has a small resident alligator called Snappy who we saw on several occasions every day. The villa is close to the many white sand beaches in the area. There is also a Wal-mart close bye. We also visited the outlet shops. There are also plenty of places to eat out. We will definatley be returning to this villa.

We recently spent a very relaxing week at this excellent villa with 3 other couples aged 50+. The villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and very well maintained. It really was a home from home. It is located in a very quiet gated community within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beaches. The beaches at Anna Maria Island, Lido Key and Siesta Key were about 20-25 minutes away by car. John and Freda were very friendly and helpful.

Spent a fantastic week at this villa in May 2008. Property was spotless and contained everything described and more. We've stayed in a few villas over the years and this one was by far the best equipped and maintained. No expense has been spared when fitting out this holiday home. Location very good, Wal Mart 5 minutes drive, beaches 20 minutes. Loved Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key. Recommend Mr Bones BBQ on Anna Maria Island and Outback Steakhouse on Cortez Road. Busch Gardens and Ybor City in Tampa are both worth a visit. Viewing the lake at the rear of the villa with a glass of wine as the sun goes down is worth the trip alone. I would recommend this villa to anyone thinking of spending some time on the Gulf Coast and hope to return there with my family again some time in the future.

Super Villa, Super Location

It was so nice to stay and relax in a lovely home, it felt like a 'home from home', equipped to a very high standard and had everything we could think of. The house and pool area were very clean and well looked after.
We liked the bushes and flowers around the outside of the pool area as it provided some privacy, but you still had the beautiful view of the lake and could sit and watch the wildlife.
Appreciated the beach stuff and toys, especially the chairs and umbrella which we made good use of.
The house is in a gated community, which is peaceful and kept very tidy. Location was good, about 5/ 10 mins to shops and restaurants. Would recommend Outback Steakhouse which had a good choice on menu and excellent value for money.
Visited Myakka State park which was interesting for wildlife and could hire canoes(About 30 mins away). Did a deep sea fishing trip at Sarasota Bay. Busch Gardens is about 50 mins away. The beach at Siesta Key is beautiful with its 'icing sugar' like sand.
Owners John & Freda are very nice and answered any questions we had. We thought the villa was lovely when we booked but it exceeded our expectations when we arrived. Would thoroughly recommend this property and would stay again when we next visit this area.
