A really enjoyable visit

MADS Inc. KIldare, Ireland
Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Our family of four stayed here for ten lovely nights in June. When we arrived at the property it felt like deja vu, everything was as described and met all our built up expectations and some. There was nothing missing in the fitout, you could be in your own home, toys included! The apartment was spacious and quiet with beautiful views and together with the complex made a great base for our holiday. With two young kids, 4 and 18 months, the pools and play area in the complex were perfect and a nice toddle away. Slightly older kids may prefer the beach which is not that accesible for youngsters as the road outside the complex is busy and has no footpath. We found the local restaurants good with our favourite being outside the gates to the left about 200m. Zoomarine was a great day out for any age.

Owner's Response: I thank you very much for taking the trouble to review our property. I am so glad that your stay in our apartment was all that you expected and more.

We know holidays are very important to people and they can cost quite a bit too! We do try our very best to make sure everything is all in order for your stay. It helps to have a very good maid service and they do a very professional job too.

I will ensure that alternative routes, other than the roads outside the complex, are left in the apartment to get to some of the beaches. This will make it easier for future guests with young children to take an enjoyable stroll to the local beach.

Once again many thanks for your comments and I hope we can welcome you to our apartment again in the not too distant future. Regards and best wishes. Ron.

Apartment 465B

Rocha Brava Fans Ayrshire, Scotland
Review Submitted: August 30, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We had a fantastic, relaxing week in this superior apartment. Located in a quiet part of the complex it had everything we required for a wonderful holiday. The views from the balcony were stunning, particularly at sunset.
This was the 4th year we had stayed at Rocha Brava and so we were already familiar with the many good restaurants, beaches and places of interest to be found in the area.
The apartment was perfect for us. We would certainly recommend it and hope to stay there again in the future.
The owner was also kind enough to help us organise our airport transfers.
A lovely family holiday!

Happy Holidays

Safe Hands South Woodham Ferrers
Review Submitted: August 28, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We've stayed at this apartment on many occasions and never tire of it. It is quirky, very clean and set in a superb location. The Rocha Brava complex is well maintained with good facilities and a 24 hr reception. This apartment is within easy walking distance to various beaches and if you are feeling a little adventurous, there is a superb clifftop walk which leads you into the centre of Carveiro Town. We would highly recommend this apartment and have already booked for 2010.

Our sunshine week

spiney Essex, UK
Review Submitted: August 6, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We arrived for our first trip to Portugal on a glorious afternoon to find a well equiped and clean apartment. Everything you could need for your stay was provided, from the essentials such as an iron and hairdryers, right down to a bucket and spade!
The complex was clean and well mantained and beautifully landscaped with wonderful views from the apartment.
We had a very relaxing week and made use of two of the three pools at the complex as well as walking to the nearby beach at Centeannes, whilst there we visited the O Stop restaurant and had a really good lunch. We also visited the beach at Benagil and took a boat trip around the caves, which was a fun and cooling experience. We stopped at the Casa Lamy Cafe and had a fantastic lunch.
On the subject of restaurants there are many to chose from within walking distance of the complex including the Rochamar just outside the entrance and the a very nice Italian outside the back entrance. Our favourite was the Jardim do Farol which had excellent food and great service. You must try something from the fish tray. It is worth pointing out that some of the restaurants are closed on sundays, so it is worth checking first.
We had a great week with super weather and have never stayed in a more comfortable apartment.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I guess that's many of the reasons why we decided to buy a holiday home here in the first place! There are so many reasons to holiday here and you have experienced quite a few of them and taken the time to write about them too.
Thank you once again for your kind words.

Late Autumn Break

Bicarolo London, England
Review Submitted: January 6, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
My wife and I stayed at this property in the last week of October last year. The glorious weather (all week) helped but the accomodation, beautiful site (to my mind the Algarve equivalent of Bel-Air), fantastic beaches and restaurants really made this a perfect week.
- Birds Eye Views
- Captivating Scenery
- Rovers Paradise
- Loved It!
A lovely message was left by the family who stayed at this villa the week before us and I can only endorse their comments that all was pretty well perfect!
