Lovely villa and great location

Review Submitted: February 19, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
We have just returned from a 3 week stay in the featured home - The house was fabulous - location couldn't have been better - and the pictures didn't do it justice!!!!! The home was clean, well prepared for us, there were maps to help us out, contact numbers, and anything else we may have needed for the coming weeks. Grocery stores, shopping just a few minutes down the street - lots of restaurants to be found - but the house itself was top notch. so if you don't want a night out - the kitchen had the basics to prepare a meal. We used the BBQ - great idea - especially for those nights when you don't want to go out - or when you come back from the parks and the teenagers are hungary!!!! It was great just coming back to the house - enjoying the pool and hot tub after a 12 hour day in the park!!!! The kids loved playing pool in the games room as well - it was a great place for them to have some alone bonding time. Each morning was freshly squeezed orange juice and a swim!!!! Neighbourhood was gated so you feel safe, the area itself is clean and extremely well maintained. Can't rave enough about the property. We will be back and the first of many stays very very relaxing and comfortable................

Liked — location, size, lay out, well equiped, you name it - loved it all

Owner's Response: It was great getting to know you a little over the months before you stayed with us.From what you told us the teenagers could be a handful so we are happy they were well amused in the games room & gave you some time to yourselves. And thankyou for treating the villa so well, we know this because when the cleaners came in they found you had done half of thier work!

We would be more then happy to see you again some time, best wishes for the future,

Colin & Trudy

HOLIDAY OF A LIFETIME

BONNIE 03 BIRMINGHAM, UK
Review Submitted: November 22, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
we were 40 years married this year and we wanted to celebrate it in style with our children and grandchildren so we decided to visit Florida, after looking at many villas we picked Colin and Trudy's and we are so pleased we did as the Villa is just out of this world, there is something for all ages and we ranged from 3 months to 65 years, games room for the young plus boxed games , pool and BBQ for the old( ha ha) to relax after a hard day at the parks plus lots lots more.
We had a wonderful time, the holiday of a life time and the Villa was part of that.

The information pack that Colin sent us was second to none not only did it give us all the info we needed for the villa ,but every detail we would need to get to the parks, shopping, and all the places of interest we may like to visit plus maps on how to get there,
The only complaint I have is that no other holiday is going to be the same as we have all been spoilt our grandchildren keep asking us when are we going back to the Villa, our one grandson was crying on the morning we had to leave so I think that says it all as to how fantastic the Villa was.
So thank you Colin &Trudy ,
from
Bernadette and Les.

Holiday Home from Home

4 J's West Yorkshire, England
Review Submitted: June 21, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
The website photos do not do justice to the size and to the amazing facilities that this villa has to offer. It really is a fantastically spacious and well equipped holiday home away from home. Both before and during our holiday Colin was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any queries that we had. The villa is also in an excellent location for the theme parks, supermarkets and restaurants etc. We loved the Outback Steakhouse on the 192 and the nearby Chilis restaurant at Champions Gate. There is also a Publix Supermarket at Champions Gate, which is a 5 minute drive away, along with a Waldgreens Pharmacy, McDonalds and Subway. Interstate 4 is also a 5 minute drive from the villa providing a straight drive down to Clearwater in around 90 minutes, where we spent a lovely day on the beach - we recommend Frenchy's Rockaway Grill which is situated on the beach - they do the best burgers and jerk chicken we've ever tasted!. Whilst we spent a lot of time in the theme parks and the shopping malls, it was also great to spend time in the villa and make use of the games room, huge TV and the lovely pool area. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who is wanting a luxury holiday in Orlando.

Love this home!

It's been late in coming but we really wanted to let Colin know how much we enjoyed this beautiful home! We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. It was wonderfully furnished and in excellent condition. My kids enjoyed the pool and the game room immensely. We love the location as it is a quick drive to the freeway and really not too far from the Disney parks.

Shopping is so close - there is a Publix in Champion's Gate and there's a new Target that carries a lot of groceries right at I-4 and 27 (along with a lot of other shopping).

My kids keep asking when we'll be going back! Thanks for a great stay!

Couldn't ask for anything better

RFG Hampton, NH USA
Review Submitted: March 16, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2008
My wife and I and 2 kids ( 3 and 4 years old), my in-laws, my mother and my brother in -law all stayed at he house when we went on our Disney vacation. There was more than enough room for everyone to be very comfortable. The house was amazing. It was furnished beautifully and contained everything you could imagine needing. The owners really thought of everything when they furnished this house.
The kids had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. The best part was having our own pool. After a long day at the paarks, the kids (and adults), loved relaxing in the pool while dinner was prepared. The barbeque was essential for easy preparation of dinners.
The house is equipped with all the luxuries of home ,even more than most people have at home. The internet was an added bonus which allowed us to plan out the following days activities easily. The game provided numerous hours of fun and amusement.
My whole family still talks about what great house it was. We are now spoiled so that we will not stay in a hotel when we visit Disney next time. It definately exceeding our expectations.

Never before have we ever reviewed a property we have used, but after staying with Colin & Trudy we felt compelled to because we had such a great vacation.

It was our first time to Florida so we needed some help & guidence & all I can say is the owners were fantastic -always there to answer questions & offer advice. The information pack they supplied was the best I have ever seen, not only for the villa, but also for the useful area details & days out ideas.

We could have found a slightly cheaper home, but we found you certainly do get what you pay for so it was well worth it.

Thankyou for everything & making us so welcome it has been a real pleasure & an experience we would like to have again someday.

We stayed at the villa over the Christmas holidays to celebrate Mum's 80th Birthday. We had been looking for sometime for a villa that would live up to the big day and we definitely found it here. The villa had everything from the great location to the excellent facilities inside( PS3 was great, trying to persuade my wife to buy me one).Everybody had a great time and my Mum is still telling everyone how great the villa was.

Thanks to the great information pack that was provided and the lovely villa my Mum had a 80th birthday to remember.

LOVELY HOME

Sharon & Mark West Sussex, England
Review Submitted: February 22, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2008
My family and I stayed at this Villa last May/June (2008) - it certainly has the WOW factor! We thought the location was just perfect with the theme parks/water parks being 10 minutes away. The accommodation was out of this world - every amentity you could wish for and the washing machine was just fab!! It's in a lovely area as well, in a development with similar luxurious properties all around. The Villa was as described and we found it to be clean, tidy, well organised and the swimming pool and games room were the icing on the cake! The owners were friendly and accommodating and all the information given was extremely helpful and accurate. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and we hope to return very soon in the future. NB: In response to the negative review - WHY wouldn't you put the alarm on; I bet you would in your own home and it doesn't show much respect for the owners or the property you are staying in.

Luxury Villa in great location.

Review Submitted: February 21, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
My family has been to Orlando many times and we have stayed in a variety of privately owned homes. Colin's villa was the best home we have stayed in. I searched many internet sites before I made a short list and Colin's came out top in terms of value for money, location and facilities within the villa. The information pack we were sent was extremely informative and Colin was very helpful in answering our questions. Also Colin gave us lots of useful suggestions for fun activities to do away from the main parks. The villa was everything described in the information pack and more. We all said "wow!" as we walked through the front door. The furnishings were of the highest quality and there was loads of room. The pool table, table tennis and other games in the garage were a particular hit as was the enormous TV and Playstation 3 in the lounge. The location was important for us as we have stayed in villas before that have meant we needed to drive down the 192, which caused us to get stuck in all the traffic on the way to the Disney Parks. The Champions Gate area is very peaceful, yet you can get onto the Interstate 4 very quickly and most days we arrived at the Disney parks within 20 minutes of leaving the villa with no hold ups along the way. There is also a large Publix supermarket 5 minutes down the road along with other shops, so it was great to be able to stock up with essentials on our way back from the parks.

The villa itself is on a gated community so you need a key code to get in. We have stayed in other communities where the villas are set rather close together and you are overlooked by other properties in close proximity. This is not the case with this particular group of villas, where there is plenty of room for all the properties.

Colin has also added other items to make your stay comfortable. For example he has a range of compilation CDs which we enjoyed listening to in the villa and in the car and there is a safe within the villa should you wish to lock valuables away, although the villa itself is also alarmed. Colin even rang us on our return home to check everything had been OK for us and our security deposit was returned quickly.

This was truly a great place to stay, we had a fab time and we will definitely return. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

Just fabulous

We have always stayed in large and upmarket villas, and have been impressed with them all, but this one comfortably beats them in every way. As well as being big enough to comfortably sleep ten (without resorting to sofa beds), the quality of the finish and furnishings is first rate, without even considering the massive amount of extra equipment provided. In the living room, the massive 57" TV is matched with an enthusiast-quality home cinema sound system, linked to digital cable, DVD and PS3, as well as the stereo system. There is even an attached iPod dock! The Games room is fully loaded - with air hockey, a pool table, table football, electronic darts and table tennis. There is also a TV and DVD in there in case that's not enough overload.

Even if technology and gadgets leave you cold, it's worth remembering that these things are all just in addition to the main attraction - a beautiful and comfortable relaxing home, in a quiet gated cul-de-sac, but minutes away from the attractions of central Florida, and within easy reach of either coast.
