For location,layout,convenience,facilities and space this has to be one of the best rental apartments in Menton. It is excellently positioned beside the beach,promenade,casino and rail station.All of Menton`s attractions,shops, restaurants/cafes,old town,tourist office,markets etc. are a pleasant short stroll from apartment.The concierge was very obliging during our stay as was the owner in providing useful information prior to our arrival.
We have no hesitation in recommending this property and its practical bedroom layout makes it ideal for 2 couples sharing or a family group.We had a great holiday there and plan to return at some future date.

We had a very lovely time again in Menton, and your renovations are a very nice upgrade to the apartment. The lovely tile floors really add to the Mediterranean look, and the apartment seems so spacious with the continuous tiles from the living area into the bedrooms. Our granddaughter was thrilled with the second bathroom. We also really enjoyed all the TV channels, and we watched a few of the DVD's you have there. Although the weather was quite unsettled for the first week, the rest of the month was good. We went on quite a few long walks, and used the bus service up to St. Agnes & Roquebrune. We walked back along the Chemin de Menton from Roquebrune one day, and also walked around Cap Martin a couple of times. We think that your location has to be among the best in Menton. We really enjoyed being right in the centre of everything when we went out, and yet once back in the apartment it is so private and quiet. The concierge is very friendly and helpful, and luckily for us, he speaks English well.

We had a wonderful week at your beautiful apartment. It certainly did meet with our expectations. We found it spacious, delightfully decorated and clean, very comfortable, everything worked and it was very conveniently situated for getting around.

We were fortunate with the weather and spent many days walking along the front and into the town; we went to San Remo one day to the market and walked along the coast nearly to Monte Carlo. We love our holidays to be relaxing, as both of us lead a busy life like many people, and by self catering we can come and go as we please.

The kitchen for me was excellent, it had everything I needed, we bought fresh fish or steak from the market and I tossed this in a pan most evenings, no fuss just a small salad with it etc, washed down with delicious local rose wine! The Patisserie Cigale was a godsend for our breakfast each morning with wonderful pastries on offer, so with a freshly brewed cup of coffee at your apartment and one of these wonderful breakfasts we were set up for our day!

We watched DVD’s and news on the TV during the evenings and found the equipment easy to use.

Adrian, we loved our stay, for us there was nothing you could improve on really.

Thank you for letting us use the apartment, we may well book it to use again in the future. We feel very honoured to have been the first people to use the apartment after your extensive renovations and hope that other clients continue to enjoy it as much as we did.

We spent two weeks in July in this lovely apartment and had a great time. The flat is ideally situated - 2 minutes walk to the beach and less than 5 mns from the train station. This was very useful as we were able to visit many places without using our car, including the wonderful Friday market in Ventimiglia, Italy, just across the border and only 10 mns by train from Menton..Train services from Menton are excellent, frequent and very punctual . The concierge was very friendly and always ready to help - as was the owner of the flat, who always answered my e-mails promptly and provided us with all the information we needed before our arrival.
The apartment is in in a lovely block and has everything you can possibly need for a holiday stay - it was fun to shop for fresh fruit and vegetables in the various markets in and around Menton. There is also a small public park outside the apartment which I sometimes used to relax in the early evening. With a wonderful patisserie just outside the apartment block and the supermarket, cafes, restaurants, covered market, etc. only a few minutes walk, you have all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday. Finally, Menton also has some lovely clothes shop which had some wonderful sales bargains! We would definitely go back to Menton and stay in this apartment.

Very nice apartment and perfect location! The beautiful building is one block from the beach and just a few blocks from grocery store, bakery, cafes, etc. The train station was an easy stroll up the street. The property was accurately described in pictures and on the website. We found it to be clean with plenty of room for our family of 4. The owner was extremely easy to work with and very helpful. The onsite concierge was a real plus.

This is a very nicely decorated two bedroom flat in the heart of beautiful Menton in a lovely old building which looked like it had once been a good hotel with a grand entrance. Our family of four stayed here the week after Christmas to get some winter sun and we felt instantly at home with the warm welcome given to us by the concierge Fabrice (who also speaks excellent English). We opted to take the bus, rather than a Taxi from the airport and this was a good choice as we were given a lovely tour of the coast, and also saw Monaco where the bus dropped some people off. It was a very comfortable bus drive and was not expensive.
The beds in the apartment are very comfortable and there is no noise from the road as the apartment overlooks the central garden with trees and bird song in the morning. The apartment is very well equipped and the shower room was new and quite lovely. Menton is still very warm and sunny in December and there is a lot to do and see. We took the train to the market in Ventimiglia , (15 mins) just over the border in Italy for a day and the coastal view from the train is breathtaking. We also took the train into the mountains to visit some of the beautiful mountain villages.
Menton old town is stunning and the light is paradise if you are a painter.
We mostly ate out in Menton, the restaurants are not cheap but we were on holiday and the food was good. There are some small supermarket type shops near by and you can buy everything you need if you want to cook. The local breads were delicious.
There are lemon trees full of lemons in December!! You must come back with some of the lemon soap and some local herbs, these smells remind us of lovely Menton.
The owner was very friendly, efficient and helpful with emails, maps and all the information needed. We will go again and would also love to stay in this same apartment.

The apartment is comfortably decorated and altogether homey. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked.The building's caretaker (concierge) was gracious and helpful. While the unit has a fully equiped kitchen, we did not cook much, beacuse sidewalk cafes for your morning cafe au laits and terrific restaurants, bistros and bars for lunch and dinner were all just a short (and lovely) walk away. There are numerous places to dine along the beach promenade and in the picturesque Old City about 5 blocks away. The walk is part of the fun. And of course the beautiful blue of the Mediterranean is practically at your doorstep. For our group of four, the best feature was being able to unpack and set up home base for our week of of touring all of the hillside villages within easy driving distance -- both in France and Italy. This unit offered the perfect combination for serious sightseeing, delicious foods and wines, and pure relaxation at the beach. Rainy day? No worries, the unit had a flat screen television, cableTV, a CD player, a DVD and a collection of films and books. A travel tip: finding street parking can be dicey. Our solution was to use the underground lot just east of the Casino. It was safe and secure, a few blocks from the unit, and even cheaper than feeding the parking meters every 3 hours. Would we go back? In a New York Minute!
