We enjoy so much it that it was hard take the children to the beach or to the restaurant.
Very good if you like have dinner at home because of the barbecue and the well equped kitchen.
A good position to see the east side of the island.

The Villa is in a perfect location with easy access to many beaches and restaurants. It is in a very peaceful location and has a lovely view.

It is extremely well maintained and the service provided by the owners is excellent.

We liked the Ladokolla restaurant in Argostoli. Its a Greek souvlaki place.

I stongly recommend the property.

Villa Argante

We had a fantastic week in Lakithra staying at Villa Argante. The villa was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The kids especially loved the pool and my husband and I loved the peace, views and luxury! Great to have some good tavernas within walking distance in the village and we used the local bakery and cake shop every day! You really must try their Katalifi - it is to die for! Mick (the local emergency contact) was very helpful and recommended us a lovely local beach. We hope to return again another year.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Argante. It is well located and has a wonderful view. We found it to be very well equipped, the whole villa was extremely clean and the pool was lovely. The outside and pool lighting made it very atmospheric in the evening. Definitely recommended.

We have just returned from a very relaxing week in this very nice villa. We arrived at the airport at 10 am and by half past 10 we were in our rooms and ready to start exploring. We found a little bar in the village just two minutes walk from the villa (Georges Bar) which we found to be a very nice the owner George spoke very good English and was able to reccomend places of interest and good food establishments. The Villa itself is very well laidout and built to a very good and comfy standard with excellent views of the port. It was very clean on arrival with pool maintainence every other day and well maintained gardens. We have only been back a week and have already forged plans with our friends and family to return either later this year or early next, the weather for mid May was a constant 31 in the day and arround 18 at night. We spent a day at the port of Fiscardo which was very pretty and well worth a visit, if i was to reccomend a beach it would be at St Thomas which is only 10 minutes away from the Villa, it had really clear water, nice clean sand, 3 snack bars and a concrete platform to get into the sea witn a fresh water shower for after swimming. overall cant wait to return to the island and Villa Argante.

we have shared this villa with our good friends and now we are planing to return with family in early may. the villa is very well equiped with decent shops and bars just a short distance away, the bakery in the village is well worth a visit. a short drive away you can find some of the best beaches in greece. we have already booked for this summer and to be honest would be happy to book for the next few years the setting is right, the villa is beyond nice and the bbq in the garden is fantatic. finding a cheap hire car is hard but economy hire have seemed to be cheapest at the moment.

Villa Argante, Kefalonia

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Villa Argante. It is situated within easy driving reach of Argostoli and Lassi. The property itself is to a very high specification and very comfortable in a rural setting. We had a variety of age ranges in our party and the villa lends itself to the whole spectrum of ages.
The views from the balcony and patio are marvellous over Argostoli bay where you can see the cruise liners entering the harbour.
We saw a turtle in the harbour so look out for these. There is plenty to see on the island take a trip to Myrtos beach, Assos and Fiskardo.
The cleanliness of the property is second to none with the pool being well and regularly maintained also.
Locally, there are good restaurants. We also liked George's bar where there is a convivial atmosphere.
Booking to Villa was extremely easy.

We would definitely like to return to Villa Argante in the future. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Ann and Pete

We were lucky enough to spend 4 weeks in Argante from mid Oct 08. The facilities and fittings are excellent and well above any ''normal'' Greek standards you will find in many other holiday villas. We have been visiting Kefalonia for 12 years so knew exactly where we wanted to be. Lakithra village is lovelly and lacks nothing for a relaxed holiday. All the requirements other than beaches are within walking distance with easy car access to any part of the island. Views from the villa will are wonderful, day and night.
The villa will enable anyone to have a home from home with the added advantage of sunshine. A car is a must to allow access to all the major attractions and major supermarket shopping.

We are an extended family of 7 ranging in age from 8-65 years. This villa catered extremely well for all of our needs. Very well equipped and set in a fantastic location (the view from the villa overlooks the town of Argostoli) it is a perfect base for exploring the island as well as close to a number of sandy beaches. If you don't want to leave the idyllic setting of this gorgeous villa there is a wonderful swimming pool to keep even the most energetic of children entertained!! Within walking distance of a friendly village with a bakery, gorgeous cake shop and a choice of tavernas this is a great place to stay. We would thoroughly recommend it.
