Reviews of Property: Modern apartment with views, terrace, close beach and shops, parking space

Websites often exaggerate how good the facilities are, this one did not. The flat was better than expected with nice little touches and loads of information about the area - worth looking at the visitor's book. It was located well and in a lovely city.

After staying in many disappointing (and expensive) French apartments over the years, it was an absolute delight to find Le Nice - a wonderfully spacious, light and airy apartment with spectacular views over the city centre.

We would highly recommend this apartment: very clean with modern facilities, only 5 mins walk to beach, 10 mins walk to city centre restaurants and an ideal base for travelling to Villefranche, Monaco, Eze & Grasse to name but a few of our favourite destinations outside of Nice.

We had a fab holiday & thanks to Su, Jullian & Sally for their friendly and professional assistance. We're missing sitting on the balcony watching the sunset whilst sipping a few glasses of red (or white or sparkling!) but will be back!

We were very well introduced on arrival at this lovely appartment. Clean, well-maintained, bright and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed our breakfast in the sun on the terrace, something quite extraordinary for a Swedish couple in November! Since 20 years we have maybe visited Nice some 10 times and this was the best accomodation ever.

If you like quality and good taste this apartment will fit the bill. It really can't be faulted. It is spotless, well equipped and in a very convenient position. We had a great week with some welcome sunshine in November. It was a last minute decision to have a holiday and the whole thing was organised within 24 hours of our enquiry, thanks to very efficient and helpful owner Su. No need to have a car - everything was easily accesible by excellent public transport, or walking distance.

we stayed at this apartment for between 9-16 october 2008. This is an excellent flat located in a high quality residential area in close proximity to the seafront. The flat's verandah which faces the south east catches the sun in the morning/early afterrnoon, has superb views of the local environment which includes the beautiful museum of beaux arts.

there are three supermarkets in close roximity as well as a wide range of convenience shops. the main shopping centre for Nice is about twenty minutes stroll away with the old town a further ten or so minutes beyond that.

the apartment was very well equipped for our party of four including two twenty years plus daughters. the provision of a laptop and free on line access was above expectations.

one of the best collections of local guide books for this part of france is also provided, as well as folders of useful local information.

we were lucky with the weather with coninuous blue skies for our entire stay and daily temperatures of 23c.

overall, excellent accommodation in a prime location and offering good value for money.

Lovely location just 5 mins from the beach and start of the town centre. Spacious and modern, with air conditioning and broadband laptop laid on as a bonus. Great care taken by the agents (Sally & Julian) to ensure there were no problems, and very helpful. Also loads of DVDs and books if you like just chilling on the balcony with a glass of red. Loads of shops and even more restaurants, I think you could dine out at a different place every night of the year! Nice beach and swimming, and what weather! Definitely recommend the flat and the town. Bus routes on the street below (3 mins walk)

We stayed at Le Nice towards the end of July 2008 for a lazy week. The appartment is nicely located , five minute drive away from the airport, a couple of minutes walk from the beach and "Old Nice" and a fifteen minute walk from the Gare SNCF - an ideal base for exploring the Cote D'Azur.

The appartment was nicely furnished decorated and fully equipped (good if you don't fancy eating out every night), the brochures and guide books for the area were a nice touch.

Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

If you are looking for peaceful surroundings in a city this appartment is perfect. Being met by Sally was very reassuring and having everything pointed out meant no problems wondering where to find things or how appliances work. The appartment was spotless and very comfortable and arranging the booking with the owners was totally straightforward.
There is a good range of shops in the surrounding area if you want to cook meals and any number of bistros and restaurants should you wish to eat out. We particularly liked Bistrot Antoine and Pasta Basta both on Rue de la Prefecture in the Old Town.
It is so easy to use pulbic transport to get to other towns and the beach is only a five minute walk away.
A return visit to this apartment is a must.
