Reviews of Property: Charming cottage near the sea in conservation area

In diesem schönen Ferienhaus haben wir zwei sehr entspannte Wochen verbracht. Innen ist es liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, draußen lädt der eingewachsene Garten in schöner Umgebung zum Lesen, Grillen und Wohlfühlen ein. Wer sich gern in der Natur aufhält, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Die außergewöhnlich netten Vermieter sorgen dafür, dass man sich herzlich willkommen fühlt – diese Unterkunft können wir für den perfekten Normandie-Urlaub nur empfehlen!

We spend a lovely week at the begining of May in this house. It is an ideal place for sightseeing. Wide range of beaches around also. The house is cosy and practical. The chimney can be quite smokey but gives a lot of heat. The beds are comfy enough and there is enough room to store your belongings. At the side of the house there is a ideal place for small children to play: swing, cars etc. The owners are really very hospitable and can help you finding your way. The seeting outside is very shady wich is nice in summer, but somewhat chilly in spring (and autumn).

I visited here three times during 2008 , both for a family holiday and with friends for a long week end break.The cottage is superb , the owners now seen as friends and cant be recommended enough !
The description of the property lives up to expectation and the location is great if you like a rural environment.

Me and my children stayed here Febuary this year. We really enjoyed our stay, the owners were very welcoming and informative - they even invited us in for a cup of tea!!!
The cottage is well maintained and nicely furnished, really comfortable...the kitchen was well equiped, we cooked in the evenings using the local merchandise from one of the farmers market in the pretty port of Saint vaast, just 15 minutes away.
We went to the beach, rode bikes, had long country walks and felt really energized on our return to the UK.
Would recommend this region of France for a short or long stay, as there is a lot to do in the cotentin, even of season.
Hope to get back in the very near future!!!

We've been there for new year's eve 2008 and it's was delicious holidays. Owners are very nice, helpfull and welcoming, house is lovely furnished and well situated between sea and country side. Our daugthers were thrilled with the toys that were provided.
In one word, we recommande this rental! even if I hate to say that because we will have competitors for our next stay, that for sure will be soon!

Drei Wochen genossen wir eine Idylle, wie man sie sonst nur aus "Pilcher"-Filmen kennt. Das Gîte lies keine Wünsche übrig, es ist alles vorhanden von Toaster und Austermessern bis Feuerholz , sehr gepflegt und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Unglaublich kinderfreundlich, da auch für Kinder (vom Hochstuhl bis zur Babyflasche) alles zu finden war und die Umgebung gefahrenlos ist. Weite Flächen, die zum toben und Spielen einladen.
Im Umkreis von ca.30 km kann man soviel Kultur und Geschichte aufsaugen, dass ein Urlaub gar nicht reicht.
Die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Eigentümer gab uns das Gefühl sehr willkommen zu sein.
Der beste Beweis, dass es einfach nur perfekt war, ist, dass wir dieses Jahr sofort wieder gebucht haben und schon voller Vorfreude sind!

I rented the cottage with my children during the winter and the summer. Great both seasons. Warm and cosy during the winter, I made pastries ang good dishes for the kids. When the children were coming back from outside, they used to enjoy to play in their big bedroom. In the summertime, we used to eat in the garden or to picnic by the see, very closed. Just by foot, you can make big walks in the countryside, see the horses, the donkeys, and wild birds. You can also walk to the see. All around the cottage, the villages and the countryside are just marvellous and authentical. Last but not least, the owners are delicious people. I am leaving in Paris, which is not that far, but going there is very exotical.

We spent a great week at this lovely cottage. The whole surroundings (nice garden, children playground, lots of toys for the kids) invite to see the day pass by...and if one wants to go to there beach, there are different types of beaches all around (car recommended) and enought sightseeing sites, too.
