Casa Margarita

Review Submitted: August 5, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We had a lovely time at Casa Margarita. The location was very quiet and away from all the noise and bustle. We had a great time in the swimming pool and relaxing in the July Spanish heat. The villa was well equipped and comfortable and Aileen, the owner, was very helpful about where to visit and would do any thing for your comfort including charging my son's Ipod on a regular basis!! However, she always respected your privacy. Would definitely recommend!

Peace and quiet, fun and festivities not far away

Review Submitted: August 2, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2007
We had a lovely stay at Casa Margerita; exactly as advertised on the site. What te site does not mention is the warm welcome by the owner; she makes you feel right at home. The house was clean and very well maintained, the owner was always very helpfull and made sure we lacked nothing.
The house is situated perfectly for a quiet peacefull stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. By car you are not to far away from lovely Almeria or from the nearby village Berja.
I would certainly recommend this property to a friend.

Aileen is the perfect host. She welcomes us as long lost friends each time we see her. The Casa is so well equipped and homely.

Casa Margarita is so quiet but within a few minutes of civilisation at either Adra (on the coast) & Berja (inland). The Alpujarras are on the doorstep, as are the resorts of Roquetas and Almerimar if you need a bit of life!

You will find Casa Margarita a piece of heaven when you return after a day on the beach or experiencing the city life of Almeria. Enjoy it!

Casa Margarita

We stayed at Casa Margaritain the summer of 2007and found it to be a delightfiul villa in very quiet surroundings.
Aileen made us feel so welcome that it felt as though we were coming home. She gave us lots of information and tips on the local area which ws invaluable for a location that is quite remote.
The accomodation was comfortable and very well equipped. We spent a lot of time by the pool which had stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Our girls (aged 12 and 10) enjoyed their stay and loved two weeks of alfresco dining and barbeques.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the popular resorts, this accomodation is ideal.
We hope to return to Casa Margarita in the near future and to explore the Alpujarra region further

The hostess with the most'est

For peace and tranquility one could not get a better destination. Our teenage family really enjoyed exploring the surrounding hills and farms and we all revelled in the excellent restaurants in nerby Adra and coastal villages.
One could not ask for a better hostess than Aileen. Without her help we could not have managed when a family member became ill. She did everything for us -travelling to the hospitals and translating for the doctors when required.
Truly the perfect hostess in the ideal location.
Thank you again Aileen

My sister and I had a very pleasant stay at Casa Margarita. Situated away from the crowds but convenient for the motorway and the roads to the mountains. The house was cool and clean with the great benefit of the swimming pool and terrace. The owner Aileen lives next door and is on hand to help but keeps a respectful distance for those who like to be left in peace.

A wonderfully relaxing and tranquil place to unwind in the sunshine, surrounded by mountainous scenery, blue skies and the occasional bleating of passing goats. We took our 20-month old toddler, who adored the freedom to play outdoors, and the pool area, and quiet at nighttimes. The villa was perfectly equipped with everything you could need. Although there are no bars/restaurants/shops within walking distance, you're spoiled for choice for places to visit and pick up your supplies (you'll want to stock up on barbecue goodies!). We were sad to leave, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from hustle, bustle, nightlife, and hectic environments. Ideal for families with child/ren, and teenagers would love the pool area and the drives to nearby beaches and resorts. Couples would enjoy the scenic surroundings, mountain drives, and freedom to explore and relax.
