Cabo Roig villa

Just returned from a lovely week at this villa. It is perfect for families with children as it has a large veranda with bbq overlooking a grassed area with good sized pool and baby pool. The development is clean and well kept and fairly quiet.
The villa was well equipped with satellite TV, a pleasant kitchen (dishwasher, washer and microwave were handy) and separate living room. The property was clean and well maintained, we picked up on some tiny things such as crumbs in the kitchen drawers but generally everything was good.
The villa is situated near some lovely, child friendly beaches, though a car is recommended to get about. There are shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would say however if you are looking for somewhere really Spanish this isn't the area for you. There are lots of English and Irish bars, a cornish pasty shop and pizza places nearby! Playa Flamenca market on a Saturday morning is good fun.
We travelled into Torrevieja a couple of times, this is a pleasant Spanish town with a lovely sea front, a market and restaurants. Alicante is about an hour away and is very attractive. Beware the traffic in peak season!
The owners were really flexible with dates and times and there was someone there to meet us on arrival which is nice. They may consider offering a welcome pack (water etc) as we arrived on a Sunday evening when not much was open.
We had a great week and would recommend it to friends.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback which is very welcome indeed. In response to some of your points:
1. Cleaning (crumbs in the drawers), we will give the feedback to the cleaning company so that it is addressed.
2. We don't do welcome packs because there is a 24 hour supermarket within 300 yards of the house and we try to keep the price as keen as possible.
Again many thanks for your feedback.
