Nice stay in Regia Bahia

6norwegians Oslo, Norway
Review Submitted: August 27, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have been in an other house in Regia Bahia before, and knew what were looking for. This area in Cabo Roig is just perfect for us. It's near many good restaurants and bars and the beach is just 2-300 meters away. We were 6 persons (me, my wife, two twin daughters 7 years old, and my mother- and father-in-law. We jused the big terrace by the pools, when it was a little too hot at the front side. And it's very quiet and relaxing there with no noice at all! We used the BBQ to grill hot dogs, hamburgers etc. to lunch and also dinner sometimes. The pools was clean and very nice for children and adults.
It was airconditions in every room and no problem to cool down although the temprature was over 30 degrees outside. The only thing I missed in our stay, was norwegian TV channels. But I think it had about 100 channels in english, german and spanish. :-)
Good restaurants in the nearby is Puccini and Sunrise!
And I must also say that the agent - Mary - was very helpful and polite! I can highly recommend this house, and maybe we try to rent it next year too! ;-)
Owner's Response: Thank you very much for the review, we are very pleased that you had an enjoyable holiday and that the house met your expectations.

Super Location for Golf

Review Submitted: November 11, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
4 of us stayed in this house in October this year and it was absolutely excellent. We were there for 9 days on a golfing holiday. We played the following golf courses Roda (20 minutes) La Serena (20 minutes), Las Ramblas (10 minutes), La Torre (30 minutes) and la Finca (20 minutes). They were all in excellent condition, reasonably priced and very accessible. We played in the mornings, spent the afternoons at the pool or at the beach. In the evening, we were able walk to a great selection of restaurants and bars, our favourites were Sunrise (Spanish), Italian Affair, La Murella (Spanish)Blu (more expensive but good) and the Argentinian Steak House. I would highly recommend the house, the location, the golf, the experience, the welcome etc ...We will be back.

Brillant Holiday

Review Submitted: September 26, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We stayed in Regia Bahia in July this year, it was very hot with temperatures in the 30s centigrade. there we 6 of us, myself and my husband, my sister and her husband and our 2 teenage chrildren. The house is perfect, 3 lovely bedrooms, air conditioning and fans in all rooms so we were able to keep cool eventhough the weather outside was very hot. The location is also fantasic 100yds from the sea on one side and 100 yds from a huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops on the other. You don't need a car in this location although we did hire one for our 2 week stay.
Many thanks for the use of your lovely house for our holiday we found it very clean and comfortable. Very pleased with the accommodation, everything you need and more.
All the home comforts.Beautiful accommodation and lovely pool. Great place for a holiday.
We liked the place very much. Very nice pool and a beautiful garden. Lovely area, lots of things to do and places to see.but at the same time we just 'chilled out' and what a place to do it.
We'll be back. Thanks - lovely holiday. Lovely beaches, great restaurants
Owner's Response: We appreciate your very positive feedback and we look forward to seeing you again next year

Review Submitted: November 13, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We stayed in this property during June / July - myself, my husband and our four children - and we absolutely loved it here. The house is ideally situated, it is within walking distance of all of the bars and restaurants in cabo roig but has the distinct advantage of being noise free! The house is situated in a lovely family friendly complex with a small number of houses and apartments. The house is well furnished and caters for all your holiday requirements it is the best holiday rental I have ever had and feels like a real home from home. The property was clean and tidy on arrival and the agent was on hand to deal with any queries. The description provided is 100% accurate and the owner was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone it is first class and I will certainly be returning again!
Owner's Response: Many thanks for your positive remarks, we look forward to renting the house to you again in the future.

We had an outstanding holiday, the house is very spacious, comfortable and well equiped. The large terraces at the back and front of the house are fantasic, contrasting views and offer the alternative between sun or shade. The community is very nice with a blend betwwen Spanish and many other european nationalities but mainly Irish, British, Scandanavian and Spanish. The sea is very accessible - only 100 yards from the house and has a beautiful promenade running along by the seashore for about half a mile. The strip is only 200 to 300 yards away and has a huge variety of Restaurants, Bars, Shops and 24 hour supermarkets. There is pleanty to do in the area from sunbathing on beautiful beaches, sight seeing in Cartegena, Alicante etc.. or even water sports - some very nice marines in the area. Finally the lady that met us at the house and looked after over the 2 weeks was very helpful and accomodating.
Owner's Response: Thank you, we appreciate your postive review and we hope that you will rent the house again in the future.

Cabo Roig villa

Sisara Purley, United Kingdom
Review Submitted: September 10, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Just returned from a lovely week at this villa. It is perfect for families with children as it has a large veranda with bbq overlooking a grassed area with good sized pool and baby pool. The development is clean and well kept and fairly quiet.
The villa was well equipped with satellite TV, a pleasant kitchen (dishwasher, washer and microwave were handy) and separate living room. The property was clean and well maintained, we picked up on some tiny things such as crumbs in the kitchen drawers but generally everything was good.
The villa is situated near some lovely, child friendly beaches, though a car is recommended to get about. There are shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would say however if you are looking for somewhere really Spanish this isn't the area for you. There are lots of English and Irish bars, a cornish pasty shop and pizza places nearby! Playa Flamenca market on a Saturday morning is good fun.
We travelled into Torrevieja a couple of times, this is a pleasant Spanish town with a lovely sea front, a market and restaurants. Alicante is about an hour away and is very attractive. Beware the traffic in peak season!
The owners were really flexible with dates and times and there was someone there to meet us on arrival which is nice. They may consider offering a welcome pack (water etc) as we arrived on a Sunday evening when not much was open.
We had a great week and would recommend it to friends.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback which is very welcome indeed. In response to some of your points:
1. Cleaning (crumbs in the drawers), we will give the feedback to the cleaning company so that it is addressed.
2. We don't do welcome packs because there is a 24 hour supermarket within 300 yards of the house and we try to keep the price as keen as possible.

Again many thanks for your feedback.
