short but enjoyable holiday

Gerra Dublin
Review Submitted: October 25, 2009 Date of Stay:
We stayed for 4 days during early October. The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean and well equipped. There were some nice bars and restaurants in the local area and a nice seafront walk to Caleta de Fuste. The location was perfect for us as it was near a diving school we booked into and less than an hour to anywhere on the island. There’s also a nice local man who manages the property and is available to answer any queries etc. All in all a very enjoyable holiday! Would recommend to anyone.

Great Time!

we stayed for a week in September 2009. The apartment was very well presented, had all mod cons and was close to bars and restaurants. Close proximity to an 18 hole golf course was great as we both like to play. The town center and shopping center are nearby where there are lots of good shopping and bars/restaurants. We travelled all around the island to see all the beautiful beaches and sights. Would’ve liked to travel to Lanzarote but didn’t have time – maybe next year! We recommend it to everyone !

great holiday apartment in fuerteventura!

Review Submitted: March 16, 2009 Date of Stay:
I spent a fab week in this apartment and would go back without hesitation. Good location beautiful walk into caleta along the sea front but bring some nuts with you for the chipmunks who come up to you while walking! The apartment was clean and well maintained plenty of towels and linen washing machine there so no need to pack alot of clothes which is a plus. Plenty of places to eat near by fab chinese resturant just a min away from apartment. Only 10 mins from the airport taxi costs 10 euro approx. Taxi into caleta only 4 euro. Plenty to do in caleta lots of trips we went over to lanzarote for the day which we enjoyed especially the boat ride. All in all great spot would not hesitate recomending this apartment to any of my friends for a holiday destination. Owner very helpful 4 people in my group going from uk and we were going from ireland so needed extra day as flights differed but mike was great about it and it wasnt a problem and was contactable through out the stay if any problems.

Super Apartment!

Situated about a mile and a half from caleta de fuste this property is in a quiet location and you can enjoy a beautiful walk along the sea front to Caleta taking about 20 mins. A frequent bus service also operates.

The property itself is very clean and tidy and comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children. (A cot and highchair for baby was a huge asset too)

The owner provided alot of information prior to my arrival which I found useful and there were leaflets in the apartment also.

I found a very good Chinese restaurant just a couple of mins walk and a couple of other reasonably priced eating places too all within walking distance.

I would very much recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet time. The swimming pools were excellent and the everyday things like a washing machine really makes a difference especially with children.

I will most definately return next year!

great week away

We stayed from 16-23 September. On arrival the apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a complementary bottle of wine and water, which we thought was a nice touch!

The complex itself was very clean and obviously well maintained. There was a nice communal pool/bar area that was also well equipped with loungers etc.

Within walking distance there were some nice bars, supermarkets and restaurants. Most notable for us was Mustang Sally’s where we had breakfast every morning and enjoyed a couple of nights of their in-house entertainment.

There was a taxi rank and bus stop nearby which we found handy for trips to Caleta and further afield. There was a lovely coastal walk to Caleta de Fuste village where we spent some time at the beach and local bars and restaurants. We also travelled by bus to Corellejo on two occasions – there’s a lovely Irish pub there called McCarthy’s Bar which we would highly recommend.

Overall we were very happy with the apartment, the surrounding area and the Island itself. We intend to come back and stay at the apartment next year for two weeks.

2 weeks of bliss

Albert08 Sligo, Ireland
Review Submitted: July 20, 2008 Date of Stay:
We stayed there from 28 June 2008 for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The location is 2nd to none with some very nice bars and restaurants nearby and short walk along the new coastal walkway to Caleta village and beach. The area is Fantastically peaceful and quiet. The apartment’s facilities are excellent, with everything you need for self-catering and an evening or two watching TV or relaxing on the patio.

We explored Fuerteventura by bus and also got the ferry to Lanzarote for a day's excursion. Although temperatures were in the high 20s we were always comfortable thanks to the refreshing breeze that adorns the island.

The combination of the apartment and location made it the best holiday my wife and I have had – highly recommended!!

i found this accomodation very suitable, it is close to local bars of which the proprieters were very friendly and welcoming, the lovely walk to the nearby town centre was exhilerating it took about 20 minutes for one to get to the town, but the scenes were amazing there's chipmunks along the coastal path which can be hand fed with peanuts fruit etc, i found them a bit partial to the odd chocolate biscuit !! the scenes are quite panoramic with mountanous views all angles the taxis were very reasonable to get back home the most was about 4€ there is lots of lovely little shops in the town and the restaurants are varied you have many choices whether it be a chinese , a curry , or a good old steak, prices are reasonable and the food excellent i would highly recommend this accomodation there was sky television ideal for nights in and plenty of linen for the beds towels etc, its definately home from home !!!! i loved it so much im going back to live there!!!!!!!
