if this is your first ever rental, or your 50th, it doesn't really matter, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this Villa. I had very high expectations, given the feedback and photographs, but the experience was nothing short of perfection. The Villa was home to me and my family for 16 nights, and we did not miss the comforts of home once. Pauline has taken the time to create the perfect environment for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Nothing is left out, and nothing is taken to chance, and you will quickly realise this after you have spoken to Pauline for the first time. The fixtures and fittings are of high quality, comfortable leather settee's, very comfortable beds, good shower, excellent kitchen, good patio areas, and a fantastic pool. As for cleanliness, I would describe it as deep clean. The marina offers excellent restaurants, the taxi rank is 2 minutes away, and the bus stop is also nearby.
Rent with confidence, nothing to worry about here except remembering your tickets, passports & money....

The villa was perfect, the furniture is of good quailty.
Everything was at hand that you might need, from cd's, books, game, dvds, to the kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine & microwave.
The garden out-side is lovley and the pool a descent size.
The papagoa beaches are only round the corner from villa, and they are the best beaches i've ever seen.
The area is lovley and peacefull, and not for-getting the the hot weather thats always there.
There is nothing more any one could ever want.
The villa is maintained to a high standard, its lovley and clean.
I would and have recommend to friends the villa.
It is a quite area, there are a couple of bars and realy nice hotles and restaurants to go to, or hop on a bus to go into the centre of Playa Blanca.
We will definatley be going back to the villa.

Looking forward to our weeks holiday in Lanzarote after this long English winter .We were not disappointed on our arrival at this lovely villa in may 2009. We found the villa to be immaculate and it's interior beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed, and more besides, for a comfortable stay.
The booking process with the owner was extremely straightforward, and we received an information pack, complete with maps which proved invaluable to us whilst there.
We highlighted in the visitors book that this villa is perfect for guests wanting to relax completely, but also as a base from which to explore the island. We enjoyed doing both and have already been in touch with the owners to book again before the end of the year.

Advance information includes detailed directions from Airport to Villa. Property is in quiet location, but within reasonable walking distance of Hotels, Shops, Restaurants. There is a regular Bus Service to Playa Blanca and a nearby Taxi Rank, so a Car is therefore not essential. Car Hire is available locally if required. A local Restaurant 'La Pampa' is well-worth a visit and caters for Vegetarians. Another restaurant 'Casa Nicolas' is, in my opinion, over-rated and poor value for money. The Villa itself is impeccably maintained and obviously well cared for by the Owners and their Property Management Team. It is therefore more suitable for discerning couples.

The villa, resort and Island were a delight. First time to Lanzarote and husband and I have already been in touch with Pauline to re-book. The service and information provided was a great start to the holiday and the quality of the Villa is fantastic, spotless inside and out. The gardens were delightlful and the views as described were wonderful. Peace and quiet all around, but so easy to reach the Marina on foot or by taxi from the end of the road. Weather was better than expected, not windy and up in the mid 70's every day. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from spending a very relaxing week in Playa Blanca and staying at this lovely villa Casa Sophia.Our first impressions on arriving at the villa was that it was truly beautifully furnished, with comfortable leather sofas, extremely well equipped in both kitchen area and lounge area- where there were many CD's, DVD's and a huge variety of books provided for the guest.
The outside area was much bigger than we had thought and we believe the pictures in its advert do not do this aspect justice.
We visited the Marina Rubican several times to eat/drink and thought that this was indeed a magical place for us as we were fascinated by some of the huge moored yachts. The Marina was within a short walking distance away with some stops to admire the views. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa. We hope to return in October time this year.

After been a regular visitor to Lanzarote for the last 22 years, we can fully recommend this as being one of the best Villa rents around, The quality of the property and the furnishings is exceptional and makes it feel more like home than a rented villa. The location is great for access to the Rubicon Harbour and the beaches as well as the Playa Blanca centre. Shops are within walking distance and parking is private and safe. You will find that you just want to stay at the villa as the sunbathing, pool and garden area make for great days of sunbathing. Satellite TV Hifi, and DVD’s galore, this is also a great location to tour the main attractions such as the Manrique foundation or the Timafaya reserve

Casa Sofia Lanzarote

Casa Sofia was all it claimed to be and a perfect location for a restful holiday. The villa was well maintained and beautifully presented, clearly the result of a lot of thought, care and attention to detail both in the interior and outside in the lovely garden and deck. The nearby Papagayo beaches are wonderful and within walking distance if you are reasonably fit. Of all the restaurants we visited the nearby Casa Nicholas most deserved a mention, for delicious and imaginative food at a reasonable price. The only slight disappointment was that there was building work in the next villa which was noisy at times during the day.

Both me and my husband were well pleased when we arrived at the villa. It was wonderfully set out, pristine in its condition and has a very private well set out garden area with swimming pool. Very very comfortable accommodation and tastefully decorated to a high standard. All the comforts of home and more.
We were also well looked after and felt the supporting service was excellent; no need to worry about anything the owner has thought about everything.
We had such a wonderful time we are looking forward to re-booking in the near future. The owner was also extremely helpful with our pre-holiday booking and gave us good advice in terms of places to visit and good eating venues. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this very well looked after property for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday that is a lovely walk to the nearby beach and marina.

I have recently returned from staying at Casa Sophia in Playa Blanca. I have to say that my wife and I had the most relaxing time whilst there that we have had in many years.
The villa was ideally located and within close walking distance to the Papagayo beaches. This was our favourite place.
In the evening we strolled down to the Marina and tried many of the restaurants and cafe bars there.
We found the villa to be well equipped and thourghly loved the pool.
We believe that every detail had been thought of and provided by the owner. Our thanks to you and we would have no hesitation in returning whilst also recommending this to our family and close friends.
Our sincere thanks for allowing us to stay at Casa Sophia and making this holiday a memorable one.
