Great apartment!!!

This was our 2nd trip to Lauterbrunnen, this time with our 10 month old daughter. This apartment was a good choice for us since it had 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. Having a kitchen was nice as dining out in Lauterbrunnen or in the surrounding towns is VERY expensive (There is a small grocery store in town). The advertisement lists the space at 71 m/sq, but it seems larger. The description for the apartment in this ad is accurate. The place is neat, clean and well cared for. The 2nd bedroom is on the small side and had bunk beds, but it was plenty big enough for the crib our daughter used. The master bedroom is quite large and the beds are comfortable. Isabel is a wonderful host who seems to go out of her way to make sure you are having a nice stay. The apartment is located 15 minutes on foot from the train station (80% downhill) or you can ride the bus and get there in ~90 seconds (Fare: 3 francs). The bus stop (Schutzenbach) is located on the road in front of the apartment.
The apartment does have internet access, but its not wireless so make sure you bring your own ethernet cable if you want to use it. And I'm reluctant to call this a complaint as its more of a cultural thing........but it would be nice if the washer and dryer had a set of American-ized instructions. We have run into this before; washing clothes in Europe is much, much different than in the US. My wife and I are pretty smart people, but we were both stumped by all the various features and modes of the 2 machines.
Overall this apartment is a great value, especially if you are traveling with more than 2 people. We would consider staying here again on a return trip to the area.
