VILLA ROSA

FAMILY3 Hertfordshire
Review Submitted: February 14, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2007
What a fantastic villa - the best one we have ever stayed in. Extremely well equipped and spotless. The pool was lovely and having a toddler gate was an added bonus. The owners left an information pack which was extremely helpful. We found hiring a car essential, as there are only a few shops/pubs within walking distance.

Owner's Response: I am pleased that the safety gate around the pool area is appreciated by families wth your children.
I am grateful that a reference has been made about car hire as I try to persuade guests to hire a car to appreciate the Island as there are no buses that operate from our area and we are about 4km from main town of Playa Blanca and car hire is extremely good value, especially if prebooked and collected from the airport on arrival rather than in Playa Blanca itself.

Villa Rosa

Review Submitted: February 21, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
It is exactly like it says on the advertisement, down to the bed covers and silky cushions on the beds. Simply wonderful for a family holiday.

We stayed for a week 12th - 19th Feb and had a super time.

The weather was glorious, windy but we always managed to find a quiet spot around the pool out of the wind.

The "dining room" was lovely on an evening lit up with candles and flickering fairy lights. After a couple of bottles of wine and sangria (made with brandy & red wine!!) it was transformed into "the disco room".

There was plenty of serving bowls, plates and cutlery in the villa and on most evenings my sister and her party would come over for dinner and we never ran short of any dishes....

I have already recommended this villa to a friend and will certainly recommend Playa Blanca for a "classy resort" without the louts that are all too commonly found around the Costas.

The time of our lives

We stayed in this villa from Dec27th-Jan 3rd 2007 and when we walked in the door we both said'WOW'. It was so beautifully decorated and had everything you could wish for.The soft furnishings were very tasteful and I wish it was my home, It was such a luxury to have a dishwasher and washing machine. The pool area is lovely and a real suntrap,it also is very private as it is walled all around. We barbequed almost every night and enjoyed the sunsets. There are two dining areas and it was so nice to chose either, light some candles and really chill out with a bottle of wine(or two)!
As it is a residential area it is very quiet and not overrun by holiday makers which we found really nice, the neighbours were very friendly and gave us info on the area.
The shops just down the road sold everything you could want but as we hired a car for the week we tended to use the bigger supermarkets in P.Blanca. A car is not essential but if you want to see the whole of the island like we did then you will need one! The coastal walk to the town is very pretty and the scenery on the island is spectacular. We had such a wonderful time at this villa and would say it is the best one we have stayed in. We will most definately be returning soon.

We stayed at this villa last year and i cant rate it highly enough. It was spotless the pool was heated and it was great. It felt like home from home! It had everything you could wish for.Pauline leaves a book of imformation from where to eat, the best beaches doctors etc which was great! The few pubs just down the road and shops were very handy and further along you have a good range of places to eat.We were only back a day and booked again for this year, would reccomend this villa to everyone, that is, if you can book it, because it is so popular!!

Five Star Villa

Bmw man Birmingham,England
Review Submitted: February 3, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2007
We stayed at the villa over Christmas for a week with our two children(2+5).
The villa is exactly as described. It is well maintained and is home from home. There were extras which added to the villa's personality. These included DVD's CD's Sattelite and cable T.V. P.S.one.Kids games. The pool was clean(Cleaned again while we was there)child friendly with a small gate to keep them out the pool area.
The people who look after the villa are friendly and could not be more helpfull. They live very close and work very hard to make sure your holiday goes without problems. In the villa there is a book that explains places to see and places to eat.Pauline was accurate of the description and explained the procedure of how to get there etc,so everything went without a hitch.
The villa is on a residential area.So it is not noisy or crowded. The area was clean and friendly with no atmosphere of having to be carefull about being out at night.Playa Blanca is not a busy noisy area.I would say it was suited for familys and the older generation or people who dislike rowdy drunken behavior.
I have travelled extensively through Europe and America so i do believe i have had good experiance of types of accomadation. This villa is on the top of my list.
We have booked the villa for two weeks next Christmas and New year and i will be looking forward to the swim in the pool Christmas day.
I would recommend this villa to a friend.
It is not like a rental villa(plain, basic),it is someones home.
If i was to move in to the villa,i would not require anything else.I think this is a good sign of the level of equipment you get.
I would recommed a car so you could get around and site see.But i know they do a meet and greet at the airport and taxi's would not be a problem.
There are a couple of bars, cafe and shops within walking distance(10 mins).

Just a short note to say we had a wonderful time in Lanzarote in your beautiful villa. The location of the villa and the way you have furnished it must make it one of the best rentals in the area, we feel very clever that we found you!
Both my sons enjoyed your pool and it was fantastic having the added bonus of the big communal pool next door to the villa which we had all to ourselves a great percentage of the time!
I have already recommended you to family and it is a holiday we would like to repeat ourselves.
Thank you again.

Hi Pauline, Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. You must have built the pool especially for me as it was perfect. Thank you for arranging my partners birthday and he said it was the best birthday he had ever had. We want to book for next year as soon as posssible. Thanks so much,Jackie

PS I watered your pot plants a couple of times while we were there but they all looked quite happy.
