Peace and Jam!

Had a wonderful 2 weeks in a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. Nothing but the goat herd and their shepherd to interrupt the silence and views from the poolside. Plenty of shade and a good size pool for our 3 children (12, 9 and 7), british TV for those timeout moments with ceiling fans to keep us cool.

The bedrooms are spacious and all en-suite. Our daughter in particular loved her room and still talks about it. Help was always at hand if we needed it and everyone was really friendly. We hope to return in the future.

Our first holiday away from the coast and we loved it. Swam in the mountain lakes, loved the local (non-english speaking) restaurants, towns and villages. Felt like we saw the real Spain. Just about close enough for the Alhambra (spectacular) and definitely close enough for Malaga and the southern coast. Take care with the drive from the main road up the track to the villa - worth every inch of it.

Excellent villa

I thought that the villa was absoutely perfect, it had everything you needed to stay there for a whole week without even going out. The furniture was to die for, and the main bed in the main bedroom was the biggest bed in the world, which was fab. The villa was designed for every possibility, there was shade if you wanted it and the pool area stayed sunny all day. At night it was lovely to sit and eat dinner then look out at the view. The views from the pool area were amazing day and night. The stoney track to the villa was definitely worth it. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be revisiting as soon as we can.

Laurence and Pauline were very helpful and the village of Alora was typically spanish which I loved as you felt like you were part of the community. We did actually walk to the town one day and it did only take 30 mins dont let the stoney path fool you it is not as far as you think.

We had a fabulous time and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Fabulous Holiday July 2007

A fabulous villa in a wonderful situation, from the moment we opened the doors and looked out onto the pool terrace and saw the views beyond we knew we were going to enjoy our stay!

The villa is furnished to a very high standard and every thing we could have possibly needed for our stay was provided.

We had a truely relaxing and peaceful holiday, with only the sound of the goats and the shepherd passing by to disturb us!

We look forward to returning to holiday at this lovely villa again and highly recommend it as a great place to stay!

Owner's Response: This is a very true reflection of our villa and its facilities which we would like to share with anyone seeking a luxury property which has been furnished to the highest standard. We believe this is reflected by returning guests over the 3 years the property has been rented, some returning for a 4th year in 2010.

Very comfortable, could not wish for more in a holiday. The views are amazing and the locals very welcoming and friendly. Did not venture out much as all we needed and more at the Villa. Would thoroughly recommend, had the best time.

Fantastic villa with fabulous views. Everything about our stay was just perfect, a modern, roomy and comfortable villa, a pool with a stunning view of the countryside and a modern and well equiped kitchen and lounge. Even a Chameleon in the garden to keep the boys interested!

Highly recommended, thanks Mark, Helen, Laurence and Lewis

The most relaxing holiday

PD001 Orpington, Kent, England
Review Submitted: June 15, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
My friends and I spent a week at this absolutely wonderful villa in the mountains at Alora. The villa was incredibly well equipped and immaculately looked after. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the decor and layout.
The scenery was breathtaking and there was a real sense of privacy without feeling isolated.
The town of Alora was lovely, with great bars and restaurants and the locals were always very friendly.
I have already recommended this villa to my friends and would definitely go back again.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful villa and to be honest, we didn't want to leave it. When we did venture out, we discovered Allora is beautiful with lots of shops, restaurants and bars.

The villa is perfect and so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is light, spatious with a great pool and outside seating area. The lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed and decorated, you could not wish for anything more.

Me and all my family will definately be going back next year.

BRILLIANT VILLA IN BRILLIANT LOCATION

MIKE AND MAL FLINTSHIRE
Review Submitted: February 28, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
We had a marvellous holiday in this very well equipped villa. It had everything beautifully furnished rooms, large patio area, outside dining, great pool and views across the hills and valleys that were just breath taking. All this together with the support of Ugo and Marjorie made this a holiday we will always remember.

The access road does need getting use to, especially at night, although the donkeys, horses and goats we met along the way seem to make light work of it.

We felt very secure, as it is a well planned out villa, providing all our requirements. We would have no problem whatsoever in recommending this villa to any of our friends in the future.

This Villa was absolute luxury and comfort. It was very clean, spacious and very well equipped. Whilst it is a bit of a bumpy drive up the hill the privacy of the setting is what makes this villa special. The pool was beautiful and the view from the patio just breathtaking. This is the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We were provided with very good information by the owners and Marjorie and Hugo were also very helpful and available to assist with anything we needed. The welcome pack was excellent. Alora is a beautiful village with lots of very nice restaurants. The coastal resorts are also within easy reach. Our only sadness is that we are not returningthis year as it was already booked.
