Dream holiday come true!!!!!!

Bardi Italy
Review Submitted: September 13, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This was my first exprience booking a holiday from internet and i must admit i was scared of what i'd find. The photo's of the villa were amazing but i thought there had to be something unreal on our arrival. Instead it was Amazing.. no fantastic...the photo's don't give justice to the villa's, it was incredible!!! The holiday was just perfect, our host's Diana and Lakis now feel like a part of the family! You will find everything you need in the villa's and if you need help for places to visit and speciale trips to make, Diana is definately a perfect tour operatore!!! The maid service was unbelievable....Olimpia would clean everyday even if the villa was still shining from the day before. The pool area was great fun, my 4 year old son still talks about it. The villa's olive tree are amazing, i'd rather not have to admit that, only because i'd like to think that we could have them to ourselves every year!!! Lakis your food at the Taverna Olive tree was incredible, you are a speciale friend for life. Diana, hostess with the mostess, you are a speciale, speciale person. Thank you both for a fantastic fantastic holiday!!!!

Absolutely Fabulous!!

The Hunts from Bucks Buckinghamshire
Review Submitted: September 5, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
From the time we first made contact, I knew this was going to be a wonderful home from home. However, our expectations were fantastically exceeded.

Diana and her team welcomed us so warmly, with gifts of home-produced Olive Oil, fresh eggs, a cool bottle of wine and everything else you could want to start a relaxing holiday on this fantastic island.

The villas are set in wonderfully landscaped gardens, with a pool that suits adults and children alike and with ample sunbeds for all. Diana works tirelessly to ensure that all her guests enjoy their stay, with the villas being impeccably furnished and cleaned daily (including fresh sheets and towels), with added extras including dishwasher, washing machine, CD player, flat-screen TV with sky and separate airconditioning units for each room, which was a fantastic bonus for us in the August temperatures.

With close proximity to several local tavernas, where we enjoyed some delicious meals, a fantastic bakery, friendly butcher and well-stocked supermarket, as well being 300 yards from the sea, and 10 minutes drive from busier resorts with good watersports facilities, we really did feel that we were in the ideal location for a wonderfully relaxing family holiday.

Diana and Lakis also run the oldest taverna is Tsilivi, where we enjoyed the best food we tasted on the island, and they even offered home delivery service!

We feel that we have found our retirement home (if Diana ever wants to sell!!). Your only problem may be getting a booking, because we plan on coming back on a regular basis...

The most wonderful holiday ever!

We have stayed in many luxury villas over the last 6 years but Olive Tree Villas surpass them all in every way.
We were lucky enough to be renting all 4 villas for our family which made it even more special
Each villa is slightly different but all are well eqipped and tastefully decorated. Each has both an upstairs and downstairs balcony with tables and chairs, ideal for relaxing and very safe for our 1 year old grandaughter to play.
We have never experienced the 5* hotel treatment in a villa which Diana, the villa owner, gave us: fresh white cotton sheets and towels everyday, and daily cleaning by a delightful, unobtrusive maid.
The villas are situated in a truly rural location, and the beach really is only 300m away, with an excellent supermarket, bakers and 3 tavernas in walking distance. This location was ideal for our teenage children, giving them a degree of independence, unusual in such a rural, quiet place. And when they did fancy a night out, the bars of Tsilivi were only a short taxi ride away! Although it is in no way necessary to hire a car, having one does mean you can visit some of the other beautiful parts of the island such as Gerakas and dine at other beach side tavernas and Diana's excellent one in Tsilivi.
And finally Diana. She is the most charming and helpful villa owner you could ever wish to meet. Nothing was ever too much trouble: from arranging emergency dental appointments to finding ferry times.
This really was the best holiday we have all ever had. Of course the weather was wonderful, but the location was special, the food was good, everything was so very accessible and the villas really were 5*.

Wonderful holiday

Hy and Mo North Yorkshire
Review Submitted: July 5, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We were introduced to this villa by friends who raved about their previous visits. It lived up to our expectations.
1. Villas were well appointed and spotless.
.2 Setting was pretty and tranquil
3. Owner in frequent attendance and incredibly helpful.
4. Restaurant - 'The Olive Tree' had fantastic food and lovely ambience.
5 Airconditioning in all main rooms was INCREDIBLY quiet but efficient - such a change to be able to sleep in comfort without having to turn off the A/C because of the noise - a real boon!
I can say nothing bad about this holiday - I was totally impressed and will go back as often as I can.

Relaxing restful holiday stay

Marathonsa Berkshire, England
Review Submitted: March 29, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
Staying at the Olive Tree Villas in September 2008 with our disabled daughter gave us the most relaxing holiday. The villa was ideal for us all with a down stairs bedroom and shower/wetroom which enabled me to support my daughter with her personal care. The facilities, including, the barbecue added to the perfect holiday experience. The owners and co guests alike were so helpful that we intend to stay there again as soon as possible.

Access to the pool was easy as we could bring the wheelchair right up to the steps of the pool and our daughter could then scoot herself into the water for a refreshing dip. Getting out was equally easy for her despite her disability.

The kitchen had everything you could possible require and we cooked the most incredable evening meals or ate out at one of the local tavernas.

I would highly recommend these villas for a relaxing and stressfree holiday experience.

Having stayed at Villa Mimosa , in June \ July , to say that I was impressed is the understatement of the centuary . The villa itself was spotless and furnished to such an extremely high standard . There was absolutely nothing excluded , everything was there that anyone could have wished . The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully presented . The villa in itself was beyond 5 * . The service supplied by the staff was again of the highest standard , being discreet , detailed and unobtrusive . The pool was fantastic as was the location . . set in a beautiful olive grove . I have stayed in villas all over the world , and can say without doubt , this has set standards beyond anywhere I have visited . If you want 6 * standards , service , and a sense of the exclusive with extremely competitive rates . . . Look no further . Paul , Weybridge , Surrey .

We have just returned from a two week family holiday in Villas Jasmine and Mimosa. Words can't express what a fantastic time we had. The setting was stunning and the villas were so much more than we could have expected. They were immaculate and the maid service was excellent. The pool and surrounding area is great and everything you need if you want to to relax. I would suggest that car hire is a good idea if you want to experience the rest of the island. If you are looking for peace and tranquility with spectacular views, the north and west of the island are perfect. The south is busier but also very beautiful, however, we stayed well away from Laganas. There is so much more to this island than that! The local tavernas were great and a short drive or taxi trip gives you even more to choose from. An evening trip to watch the sunset at Kampi was fab and the Levante speed boat trips to The Shipwreck and Keri Caves are a must with the ever charming 'Captain Spyros' - excellent fun! We didn't want to come home and I'm sure that the quality of this accommodation will be hard to match in the future. Thank you so much lovely Diana for adding that personal touch and making us feel so very welcome. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Olive Tree Villas. We would definitely return, something we have never done before! Claire and Lee.
