Beautiful, well-equiped house in lovely area

Garto Edinburgh
Review Submitted: July 9, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This is a great property at a really reasonable price in a lovely part of spain. The rooms in the house are much bigger than you can tell from the pictures here, all of them are clean and really nice. The house is well-supplied with all the things you need - including a large beach towel each, very handy! Although the pool, garden and tennis court are communal, we found it was quiet and had the area mostly to ourselves. We found the property slept eight without any trouble.

The owners are friendly, promt to respond to emails, and the renting process is straightforward.

I'd recommend this property to a friend because it's lovely, good value, and the surrounding area is lovely. We went on a sherry tour, visited some beautiful nearby towns, and tried some watersports. I would recommend a car if you would like to explore the area.

Relaxing in Wonderland

Tabukee Merseyside, England
Review Submitted: September 28, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
From the outset, we were pleased with the property, and with the kind assistance from Bill and his wife who were very attentive. The welcome pack was more than sufficient even though the supermarket was only a matter of minutes away.
The layout of the villa is excellent, and all rooms were well laid out and adaquately furnished. The kitchen was particularlly well equipped.
The outside area was very clean and the BBQ most welcome. The grounds were well tendered and the pool very clean and never too busy.
We took advice from the visitor's book and ate in some of the recommended restaraunts, and all lived up to their reputation.
We had some great days out, again taking advice from the vast amout of brochures in the villa, and apart from the well documented areas of Cadiz, and the local beaches, I would advise a trip to see the cathedral at Medina Sidonia - not for the weak of leg, but well worth the hike to the top of the town - but don't go during siesta, as most of the bars and cafes are closed.
All in all, it is a great villa in a very convenient location, although the satnav got a little confused with the dust tracks around the compound.
Supermarket, restaraunts and beaches are all within walking distance, and great locations not more than an hours drive away.
I would highly recommend this holiday venue as we (2 adults and 2 kids) were never short of things to do or see.

A super holiday home in a beautiful region of Spain. We hardly heard any English spoken!
The villa is well equipped for six 'though a slightly larger outside table would have made dining a little easier.
Located in a wonderful area we were able to visit and recommend Cadiz,Vejer, Medina Sidonia, Tarifa;especially whale watching and Jerez to name just a few!
The beaches and sea food are magnificent.
A wonderful holiday and many thanks to Bill and Susan for looking after us so well whilst we were there.

Perfect villa on Costa de la luz

James & Helen Berkshire, UK
Review Submitted: June 9, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
This is the first time my wife and I have been to the Costa de la Luz and Conil is a perfect base to explore the coast. We couldn't understand why Conil is not in the Lonely Planet as the town has a lovely atmosphere, two great town beaches, and great range of tapas bars and seafood restaurants including the ones on the Playa Fontanilla.

The famous Sherry Triangle and the beautiful towns of Jerez and Sanlucar are an hours drive north, and an hours drive south to the great beaches at Zahara and fantastic seafood at Tarifa. As we found the Costa del la Luz is a beautiful stretch of coast, and a world away from its overdeveloped neighbor, Costa del Sol!

The property itself is amazingly well equipped, with plenty of space, walking distance from the nearest supermarket, and in a quiet location to the north of town. We chose the house based on the photos and previous reviews, and the house did not disappoint. The owners Ellie and Lizy were very helpful with planning and directions, and were prompt in responding to emails in a straightforward rental process. Special thanks to Bill and Sue who provided a great tour on arrival.

We look forward to returning again.

Conil de la Frontera - Spain through and through

The Howdens North of England
Review Submitted: September 18, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We were very pleased with this property, it is equipped to a high specification and has everything you could wish for. The development was quiet during our visit in early September and there are very few English people around this area, which means you can escape from the depressing news and weather of the UK and truly enjoy your holiday. The house is just far enough out of town to enable you to walk in for dinner and not too far to the beach. I would recommend the property to friends or family but would say that a car is essential to explore the surrounding areas. A trip down to Tarifa is something I would recommend, the drive alone is fabulous.

FABULOUS BEACHES IN CONIL !

Review Submitted: August 28, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Our summer August hols was spent in Peurto Banus and then an interesting drive up the coast to Conil.
We enjoyed so much the beaches and surf & sea at Conil! you can either walk or park the car to be by the beach in the town or we preferred the coast line near the villa.
The villa has information of restuarants to try in this very Spanish resort!
Our evenings were spent walking into the town and enjoying the spanish atmosphere as everybody comes alive then in Conil during August!.

THE PERFECT HOLIDAY!

Joelle cambridge
Review Submitted: December 24, 2007 Date of Stay: July 2007
I cannot think of one negative thing to say. The house was perfect, spotless and in the best location. Everything (and I mean everything) had been included in the house, from notes where to eat, to bottle openers and additional toilet rolls. Ellie really has done an amazing job in every area and we are coming back to the house as soon as we possibly can. Conil is such a wonderful place, a place we have not visited before but long to return to. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful place to stay and explore this beautiful undiscovered area of Spain. You really are the best renters we have ever used and we have used an awful lot!
