Reasonably spacious. The bunk beds in the corridor are virtually in their own room with window.A good apartment with parking. Electric hob not user friendly and could do with an oven glove and a few table mats. Otherwise comfortable. Plenbty of hot water
Because of bad weather we saw little of Mont Blanc but the location is excellent: at the better end of town. Good restaurants nearby. A bit of a hard slog on foot to the telecabin but a cheap car park there: 1 euro per day.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. Replacement oven glove on it's way...they seem to go walkabout! For those that don't fancy the 5 min walk to the ski lift there is also a bus to the lift that stops 50 metres from the apartment. Ian & Nat

Family Summer Week

We found the apartment to be in excellent condition throughout. The modern well equipped kitchen, situated in the openplan living room, contained everything needed to cook many good meals! We were very impressed to have the comfort of a log burner, and on many occasions it was wonderful to sit by the fire and gaze out at the amazing view of Mont Blanc. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were good sizes and we found the beds very comfortable. The location of the apartment being so close to the town centre made it very convenient for shopping and eating out at night. The apartment is perfect for both summer walking and winter ski holidays and we look forward to many more visits in either season.

Having just returned from a wonderful week away in Chamonix we wanted to ensure that we could let people know what we thought.
The apartment is good, a large and spacious lounge with fab views. A lovely balcony with views that you find your worries leaving you.
A well equipped kitchen although we did find it dark when cooking in the evening. Lovely compact wet room a real plus and another large bathroom for the kids ! The rooms were adaqute however we were a little dissapointed with the main room as no double bed although we understand that this gives more flexiblity to larger parties when using the apartment. Perhaps a zip up bed would be an option ?
Location could not be faulted and a car is not neccessary if you wish to stay in Chamonix itself.
All in all a lovely place to stay.

Perfect apartment, excellent location for summer!

Review Submitted: September 10, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We were looking for a central apartment with plenty of space for a large family. This more than lived up to expectations!

Very central location next to bakeries and bars, and a 2 minute walk to the main square along the main street. Far enough from the square not to be noisy.

We drove from Geneva which was easy and used the residents parking every day. We had friends out who used the transfer service which was also good - either option works.

The apartment was large, and well kitted out. The beds were superb! We especially liked the large lounge overlooking Mont Blanc and spent most evenings sat on the balcony drinking too much wine!

The big TV was great, but we would recommend bringing some DVDs out.

Highly recommended, especially for families - we are planning to come back for a ski trip next year!

spacious town centre apartment

Very convenient for town centre (literally round the corner to main street), this is a spacious apartment for 8, but no more than 6 adults-the bunk room is tiny, only really suitable for children. Adequately equipped modern kitchen, lovely big dining table, 2 sofas and huge plasma tv. Little balcony overlooking pool and fabulous views of aiguille du midi, mont blanc etc. Bedrooms are comfortable, 2 bathrooms, one traditional and one modern wet room.
Only drawbacks are only 2 loungers by the pool so if you go in summer take your thermarest unless you don't mind lounging on the floor! Also, early morning traffic noise, didn't bother me, but it might for some who like a lie in! But the trade off is perfect town centre location!

Had a fantastic holiday here. The apartment is a real find. Extremely comfortable and well-equiped with the most incredible views of the mountains. Lovely big open plan kitchen, dining, sitting room which is great for families.

It's in a great position - right in the centre with an easy walk to all the shops, cafes and restaurants in Chamonix, but is also very quiet and peaceful.

Chamonix is a great resort - very very pretty, loads of amenities and the best skiing.

Can't think of anything that could be bettered! Highly recommend it to anyone.

A Perfect Winter Break!

Review Submitted: May 7, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
A perfect winter break says it all.... the apartment was fantastic and the skiing truly amazing! The central location of the apartment was ideal, with it being so close to the shops, restaurants and ski lift/bus - everything was so easy. The apartment itself was stylish, equipped to a high standard, and the customer service provided by the owner was exceptional. It was perfect for our family holiday, and it was wonderful to feel comfortable and at home with our two year old daughter.

I would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic apartment for a winter ski break, but having seen the swimming pool from the balcony, although covered in snow at the time, I'd say a summer holiday in Chamonix looks very tempting!

The apartment was modern and very clean. We went in April for a week with our 18 month old son. It is in central Chamonix with restaurants and shops right outside. Very good for skiing and walking. I would heartily recommend this to any families, people coming to have a relaxing or active holiday.

What a week that was!!!!!

What a week, need another week off just to recover!!, if you've not been to Chamonix your missing out!!,everything about the place is just A1 from the apartment to the nightlife.
But hey lets start with the apartment its got everything you need from being in a ideal location, with tasty fresh baked almond croissants from the nearby bakery for breakfast,to the short walk to the lifts and the short stagger to the many bars and restaurants later in the evening!!!.It is very clean and functional, with a upmarket feel to it(I,m sure the leather sofas helped with that)all the fittings look brand new and the wet room was a real boon, could not get my 10 year old daughter out of there and my 4 year old loved the bunk beds.Being on the lazy side(especially after 6 hours on skis) I took full advantage of the wall mounted plasma screen most evenings. The layout and space was great we had 6 adults and two children and there was none of the usual falling over each other and struggling for space that you sometimes get in these apartments. In fact it was a real joy to all sit down together and share a glass of wine over dinner(plus as a bonus there is a dishwasher so no hours at the sink afterwards!!).
It was also very enjoyable to have a beer looking from the balcony towards Mt Blanc and the glacier as the sun set and the town began to come alive.
Yes it was a great week and we already starting to think of getting next year sorted at the same apartment(think my boy just wants the bunk beds again)

We loved it!!!
