We had a lovely time here - perfect location, impeccably maintained, and ease of service. Very helpful owners and property manager made it a delightful weekend. They even made up a cot for our baby!

Large Romantic Apartment in City Centre, Krakow

Review Submitted: April 9, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We stayed in this apartment in early April 2009 - it was absolutely fantastic. No detail had been overlooked - very comfortable stay. The apartment is large, well decorated and very clean. Even though it is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Krakow, it is extremely quiet and peaceful. From the first time we had contact with the owner, he was extremely helpful and gave us lots of good advice about our visit. He also helped to organise transport to and from the airport. There was a wonderful housekeeper who was contactable at any time and even provided us with a mobile phone that we could use during our stay! Great property - well worth visiting and loads to do for all ages in and around Krakow also.

Perfect Home from Home

Not given to superlatives too often, my daughter of 16 declared the aprtment amazing and wanted to have one for herself!
Arrangements and communication were excellent and Caspar / Leila (owners) & Sylwia(the property manager were more than helpful at all stages. Taxis arranged with no fuss at a good price. Helpful advice when asked for.
This is one of the best apartments/holiday self catering lets I have been in and felt like a home from home.
Well equipped all round ( albeit we never needed to use the kitchen). Clearly alot of time and thought have gone into deciding what should be offered.
Not only all the above but a good location less than 10 minutes walk from the main square in Cracow. You can easily come 'home' after a day in town, have a rest/cup of tea/shower before heading out again for your evening meal/drinks. And speaking of food and drink you can eat out very cheaply(compared to UK) almost anywhere in the town (that's why we did not cook)
There is a great little food market less than 10 minutes away as well with everything from cakes( yum) to marinated fish, fresh cream cheeses, meat vegetables etc etc.
Also about 10 minutes away next to train station for you shopaholics is a HUGE indoor centre with over 250 shops.
As for Cracow we all thought it was a fantastic city with enough to keep us well occupied for the 4 days we were there and leave us wanting more.
If you want to go To auschwitz the tour we went on was OK ( Cracow city tours) but they rush you around abit so you may want to consider getting there under your own steam, although the tour guides WERE good and knowledgeable( we felt we would need to return to see it properly).
Remember that some museums etc close on Mondays ( as we found out) and so you should read the pamphlets and guide books properly ( which I didn't).
Not sure how disabled people might cope with front door and steps to lift but would not have thought this was an insurmountable problem
Apart from the trips outside city we never needed to use the plentiful trams ( well there always seemed to be one when we crossed the main road) as most things are so near the city centre.
One of the best short breaks we've had and heartily recommended especially if you use this particular apartment

krakow apartment

only issue we found is the sofa cushion keeps sliding off the sofa... rather minor but annoying issue.

The outside of the building is a bit grim to look at, but inside is clean and pleasing to the eye. In general we were spoiled by you and your quite well-appointed apartment, as we learned when we rented an apartment in Prague the following week. the prague apartment had broken fixtures in the kitchen, bath, etc., no tp, 4 glasses, windows that blew open in the wind.

Perfect apartment, perfect host

We stayed in Caspar's apartment in March 2008 for about 5 days. Caspar was an excellent person to deal with giving a detailed outline of what the apartment comprised of and contained, then offering advice on trips and checking with us that we had encountered no problems throughout our stay. He genuinely sought our feedback and ideas to improve on what he was offering but how can you improve on the perfect city apartment, which was a home away from home?
We took the opportunity to visit the Salt Mines and Auschwitz whilst we were in Krakow, both were very worthwhile and in different ways.
Should we decide to return to Krakow next year I would have no hesitation about where to stay.

fairytale vacation in krakow

Review Submitted: April 10, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
just back in ireland after 3 wonderful days in krakow!!
For me the highlight (besides the marvellous city,so full of culture)was the outstanding apartment.Never have i seen such attention to detail, and if like me,you like cooking, then this fitchen is awesom!!
Everything one could possibly have in ones own home is here in this apartment.
As the bedrooms are right at the back,a good nights rest is assured and no traffic noise as the street is of the main road yet so near to the market square(five minuites walk.
The bathroom i can only describe as a "work of art".Such fantastic tilework and dozens of tiny lights dotted all over it make it an experience(almost worth the rent just to take a bath!!!lol)
An added bonus is the fast and efficent pick up service to and from the airport and the equally efficent Svlwia(property manager)who is only a phone call away should any information or assistance be required.
This IS the place if you want a hassle free vacation experience.

We had a fabulous time in Krakow, and the great apartment was a large part of that! The apartment is amazingly well equipped -- it certainly had everything we needed, and then some; we only cooked breakfast for ourselves, but the kitchen is fantastic and would support any level of culinary indulgence. We found the location to be close enough to everything we wanted to see and do, but quiet as advertised. I will be recommending your accommodation to all of my friends and family who are able to visit Krakow in the future, and I hope we can return soon!

This holiday (like the apartment) really wanted for nothing. The apartments was spacious, with a great layout, clean, homely and decorated to a very high standard. Everything you could possibly want was provided plus more! I loved the little touches like chilled water provided on your arrival. Top Marks.
