What a lovely home. Everything has been thought of down to board games and novels. The local beach is good fun.We enjoyed the surf. We particularly enjoyed Oistins Fish night and the catamaran cruise.Everyone is so friendly. we stopped for a drink once and we were given loads of fruit!
The local bakery sells good food and delicious cakes.
Came home with a case of clean clothes. Wish we had more toploaders in the UK! we have no hesitation in recommending this home
Owner's Response: We are very grateful that renters take the trouble to review our home in Barbados.and would be delighted to house this family in future We were so happy that the house was left beautifully clean and tidy when they left even before the maid went in .and we make sure the staff hear of all kind comments like this

With the weather being so unpredicatble in the UK we are glad to hear that our home in Barbados is such an enjoyable holdiday destination

This was the first time that we have ever stayed anywhere without being all inclusive so at first we were a little nervous..BUT...this trip has officially changed the way we travel!!! Thanks so much to Linda for helping us and providing such an amazing home for our vacation!! You will not be disappointed by Barbados or this house!! The only opinion that I can offer that would be different from the rest is that we rented a car for the 10 days that we were there. The transportation system in Barbados is very easy to use but the independance of having a vehicle is essential for our family travel!! Don't be intimidated fellow North American tourists because it is very easy to get around!!! Even considering that you are driving on the opposite side of the road and the wrong side of the vehicle!!! We travelled the entire island which is an ABSOLUTE must if you are visiting!! Every coast offers amazing majestic views and each is very different from the next!!! The staff of the house are all very nice and we felt very safe in the neighborhood as everyone is very pleasant!! Our family was more than comfortable as there is an ample amount of space within the house!!! The pool and the house have been very well maintained and are very clean!! We also appreciated the nice smell of clean sheets!!! Thanks again for offering such an amazing place for our family vacation!!! We look forward to vacationing again with you!!!

Another wonderful time

I recently spent 2 fantastic weeks at Breezin. The property was luxurious, spacious, extremely well equipped and the owners have made sure that every need is catered for. Even beach towels, board games, and computer facilities are provided. We spent several hours relaxing by the pool drinking 'Banks' the local beer (well someone had to do it). Local facilities were very close by and this included a well equipped supermarket. Breezin is well situated for the airport which cuts out that long journey that you often have to your accomodation when you arrive. We hired a car which we collected from the airport. This was straightforward and excellent value for money. We visited a number of restaurants in the near by St Lawrence Gap. We took in a live show at the Plantation theatre this included dinner and we had an excellent day on board a Catamarang this included lunch. I have already recommended Breezin to friends and I will definitely be returning at the earliest opportunity. Many thanks to the owners for providing such an excellent service and ensuring our holiday was everything we hoped for.

Relaxation in Barbados

Yellowbanana1 Bristol
Review Submitted: July 31, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Where to start, we enjoyeda wonderful two weeks at Breezin. One of the best beaches on the island is only a few minutes drive, or a nice walk away. We spent a few of our days on that beach (Foul Bay) and never saw more than about 6 people!

The house was perfect for relaxing by the pool during the day soaking up the sun, or even after a day at the beach for a late night dip with a BBQ to top things off.
Breezin was very well equipt and had a homely feel to the house, in such a friendly community, experiencing the real barbados.

We hired a car from a local agent for a few days and travelled around the island, but found the buses (which stop regurlarly at the shops a few minutes from the home) to be excellent transport - especially if you are looking to enjoy a few rums on the beach and don't wish to drive!
Also only being 10 minutes from the airport was extremely convenient.

Catching a bus to 'The Gap' or BridgeTown was very easy and run later on through out the night. We enjoyed a few nights out at the gap with a huge range of lively restaurants and bars to choose from.

Our holiday here was just perfect, and would deffinatley go back to breezin to enjoy another fantastic holiday!!

The Real Barbados

Yorkshire Puddings Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England
Review Submitted: May 20, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
We stayed at Breezin for two weeks from 2nd May 2008 to 16th May 2008 and it was simply perfect. There was seven of us staying and the villa was ideal for us not to mention the wonderful pool and decking area.

We hired a car (people carrier) from Stoutes Rental and toured the island. We had been warned that Barbados was rather expensive and was actually told several times that we would have been better going 'all inclusive'. However, you can make it as expensive or as cheap as you like.

Staying at Breezin was great because you were living amongst the Bajans and really got a feel of Barbados whereas if we had stayed in a hotel on all inclusive it would have been like being on any caribbean island. The people are so friendly and welcoming. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Barbados to anyone and especially Breezin. Thank you Linda and Tony for letting us share your lovely villa in the sun.

This holiday was something special. It will remain in our memory for a long time. It is not often that the accomodation exceeds your expectations and one is often disappointed. However this is what you would call luxury. The house is excellent value for money, it is bright, airy, spacious and extremely comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to ensure every need is catered for. The pool area was a fantastic place to relax, chill out and recharge the batteries. The location is perfect with all amenities like, shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The locals were extremely friendly, helpful and socialable. The icing on the cake was the fact that we were not required to vacate the premises hours before our flight was due to leave. As the airport was so close by we could savour the last few hours of our wonderful holiday in the comfort of the house. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your wonderful home. We will certainly be returning and will be recommending this to our family and friends.

Oh wow!!

My family of 7 stayed in this property for two weeks easter 2008.

We have been to Barbados many times and we yet again had a wonderful holiday. The house itself has everything you want and is absolutely lovely and very large. It was very well maintained and the staff available, should you need them are very helpful.

We would definately reccommend this accommodation to friends/relatives.

The pool is ample size and as the house is in a quite area absolutely relaxing. The garden gets the sun for nearly all of the day.

Staying in a private house in Barbados really gives you the feel of the "real" Barbados and a chace to sample life as a Bajan, and this house certainly does this and gives you a wonderful idea of the true laid back relaxing life.

You are only 15 mins drive from some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast of the island with the most idillic "Foul" bay less than 5 mins drive. Oistings fish fry on a Friday night is brilliant, amazing food and very reasonable prices, the Shrimp kebabs are a must!!

There is a supermarket less than 5 mins drive away with a larger shopping centre with a huge supermarket at Emerald city 8-10 mins drive. and even if you want a night in, there is a dvd rental shop opposite the supermarket and for around £1 a night, true value.

We would definatley stay here again.

Four ladies from Bristol highly recomment this hourse for a peaceful, book-reading, swimming time. It is 15 minutes from the Airport, fully equipped for families or singles, clean and well-maintained. Airconditioning great - pool great - local Tri-Mart for groceries and wine great - Winston local contact wonderful man for car hire, bus info and what to do on the island.

I would recommend Crane Hotel Sunday Gospel Breakfast at 9.00 a.m. book first - El Tigre 5 hour catamaran lunch cruise, Wayne will pick you up from the house - Cheryl local reflexologist her number is in Linda's visitors' book - Champers Restaurant at Rockley Beach excellent food and service book first.

Thank you Linda and Tony for Breezin - Fabbo time and highly recommended.

Quite Simply Unique

Review Submitted: March 3, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
Your home is quite simply unique. The location is excellent and even though we used a taxi from the airport the bus would have been as good. Winston is a god sent human and nothing phases him, Your neighbours were wonderfully friendly as were all the people we met. I cannot recommend it highly enough and if anyone wants a holiday with uniqueness then this is it we will certainly remember our silver wedding for all the right reasons
Thank you for your kindness

Barbados House in the Sun

T-J Leicestershire
Review Submitted: February 25, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
Barbados 2008 5 Adults 4 Children

The house was as described but better. It was well equipped with everything we needed from beach towels to a blow up dolphin for the pool. There was plenty of room for both families.

The pool was well maintained and the children spent a lot of time in it.

The house was very clean and tidy, Any problems and a local called Winston could be called who helped us with information on buses, beaches etc.

The local shops were only 5 minutes from the house, and you could buy all your food, drink etc
The bus stops were also near the shops, love the music on the bus.

We recommend Oistins on a Friday night (Fish Night) and the Malibu factory, My Mother in Law now likes rum.

Would recommend this house to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday, but with everything else only a short bus ride away.
Owner's Response: It is much appreciated when time is taken to review our home in Barbados on the Holiday Rentals site.

We have received many positive reviews previously in our Guest book at the house and by direct e mail. We are very grateful for all feedback and will try to do anything we possibly can to make our guests happy.

We will make sure our friends, neighbours and staff in Barbados know about all comments.

The result from positive feedback is always Sunny smiles and great satisfaction especially when they hear how much Guests enjoy their stay on this beautiful island.
