Yes, Nice is as nice as it sounds

This apartment is situated in the Port area of Nice, just a five minute walk away from the edge of the Med where you can take a daily dip - even in late October! As others have said, the view over the bay from the balcony is simply fantastic! You can sit there glass in hand in the sunshine and watch the continual toings and froings of the airport in the distance and the boats in the harbour. The flat has all the basic necessities for a comfortable week's stay and represents good value compared to many more expensive properties. It's convenient for local shops and restaurants and the regular (and very cheap) buses stop right outside the door. A trip to Monaco amongst other places is so easy - just 1 euro each way! There really is no need for a car although there are parking places around. We would love to return.

An idyllic location in Nice

This apartment in a well maintained quality building was among the best of the many we have rented in the last 5 years. The listing description is accurate, the apartment is excellent value and a far more pleasant option than a hotel.

The outstanding features of the apartment are that it has a spectacular view, it is equipped with everything required for easy living and it is situated next to a bus stop that connects with a frequent bus service to almost anywhere on the Cote D'Azur as well as to mountain top villages. It is an easy stroll from the apartment to interesting areas of Nice and the local area itself offers plenty to do. While we found plenty to occupy us for two weeks in and around Nice we were increasingly attracted to returning to the balcony of the apartment with its captivating views.

The owner provides excellent customer service herself and also ensures that local help is available through a friendly and efficient English/French speaking family who live in the building and who welcomed us on arrival and invited us for coffee during our stay.

We would certainly like to use this apartment again and recommend it to others.

My girlfriend and me did stay in that lovely fully equipped apartement during 5 days. We were kindly welcomed by Sabrina and her mother which did hand out us the keys. If needed they are very helpful for any questions around the apartement and area around cote d'azure. We have enojed every single minute staying in the apartement especially sitting on the balcony while taking breakfast or having a glas of wine in the evening while watching out to that excellent, splendid panoramic view which made our stay to an unfogettable relaxing holiday. The place is safe and quiet located in the backside of the mainroad. A wide range of shops, delicious restaurants the port and beach are easily reachable within walkingdistance. It is definitely a well recomendet place to stay and return again.

Myself and my Aunt visited for a long weekend and totally loved pretending we were French and living in this beautiful Art Deco apartment. A solid building, bright yet cool inside in the summer and with a great balcony to sit on to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening whilst watching the sun set and preparing to take the gentle stroll to the harbor which is filled with exotic yachts and surrounded by a great choice of restaurants. The apartment is well equipped and the fridge had a 'petit cadeau' of a chilled bottle of wine and jam and fruit etc on our arrival. The apartment has a great deal of character which is difficult to find in large hotels. Nice itself is a great location with plenty to do and see and would work out well as a great base for seeing the rest of the Cote d'azur which is just stunning. It really was for us the perfect place to stay and I will be making arrangements soon for my return with another friend.

We loved the apartment. Its full of character. It is bright, atmospheric and has superb views. Being there gave us a chance to relax, enjoy music while watching the boats go by. The location is quiet and stylish, a short walk to the port, close to shops and the more interesting parts of Nice. There's a wide range of excellent restaurants within 5 -10 minutes walk from the apartment.Good public transport made it easy to go anywhere. A wonderful week! We'll be back.

A lovely, well-equipped, clean, secure and quiet apartment. The views from the balcony over the bay were incredible and it was a wonderful place to sit and watch the sun going down with a glass of chilled wine every evening. Very accessible for the beach, the old town, the port restaurants, the bus stop and the train station with regular buses and trains going to Monte Carlo, Cannes etc. The apartment had all kitchen essentials, a great CD player with choice of CDs. Local shops very close by for all supplies. It was just what we needed for total relaxation. The owners provided excellent suggestions of where to eat and drink and places to visit before we arrived in Nice. We would definitely return to the apartment. A real find! Siobhan and Geraldine.
