This really is living! Right in the heart of El Born, this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment is breath-taking. Furnished and finished to a high standard and with stunning views from the roof-terrace, where we bbq'ed with a back-drop of the cathedral.
Reserving and booking was easy and straightforward and we were met by George on time and given a comprehensive guide to the local area and to the apartment. He could not have been more helpful and even came out late at night when I foolishly locked myself out!
We highly recommend staying here, it has everything you need and the best postcode in town. Also very well priced for the size, space and location.

great holiday apartment

Great spacious apartment with lots of flexibility. With two toddlers there was a lot of bed swapping and plenty of space for all. George was a wonderful greeter and a great emergency help.

We are three ladies who celebrated our 40th birthdays with a fabulous stay in this apartment. It was in short walking distance of the marina, beach and many other tourist attractions. The apartment itself was spacious and spotless. We loved the roof terrace and the fact that there was a dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment- we had everything we needed. We could imagine being quite happy living there! It is in a great area, with some fab restaurants and shops close by.
Some tips for your stay - the taxi cost us 40 euros into Barcelona, but only 24 to get back. Clearly we were ripped of on the way in.
There is a fab tapas bar (lonja de tapas) on the walk to the marina, near where the tourist bus picks up on the blue stop (the one after Ciutadella park). It is a little pricey but the food is fab - great for a celebration meal. The restaurant next door has cheap - but delicious - Italian food and the sangria is fantastic value.
It is well worth buying a two day tourist bus ticket - so much to see.
The little grocers shop at the end of the road (near the Santa Maria church) had much better fruit than the bigger supermarkets.
Also, our first impressions of the street where the apartment is were misleading. It is a narrow street and there is grafitti on some doorways (which we later realised was everywhere in Barcelona). We were initially concerened about the area (being three ladies) but had no need to be. It was a lovely, safe area and very quiet at night. Superb! We will definitely be back! Great Apartment

We had six people stay at this apartment in April 2009. The stay was great, the apartment was clean, and the location was perfect. George let us in and got us acquainted with Barcelona even though we arrived late in the evening. The apartment has modern applicances and was quite spacious. The only drawback is that there are many stairs to get to the apartment and no lift.

This is a really excellent apartment which is right in the heart of the old part of Barcelona. It was extremely clean and comfortable and very stylish. I would recommend it to anybody wishing to enjoy their stay. It is close to everything you need.
The service from the owners and the 'greeter' was excellent which really gave us confidence in our touring around.

Four of us stayed in the apartment in mid-March. We loved it. Very spacious and comfortable - and good natural light. We appreciated the ‘meet and greet’ - the local knowledge provided was valuable. The fantastic location in El Borne has plenty of atmosphere, with many bars and restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed doing our food shopping at Santa Caterina Mercat, within very easy walking distance. You do need to haul your luggage up three flights of stairs, but we’re aged in our 50’s and we managed it OK. Would stay here again any day!

We thought that the apartment was excellent. Its size and location allowed us to have a relaxing break in the heart of the city. It was clean and spacious and the information provided by George allowed us to immediately settle into our holiday as soon as we arrived. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants the space to relax, instead of being cramped into a hotel room. If we visit Barcelona again, this would be our first choice of accommodation. Being within easy walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants to suite all tastes was an added advantage.

This is an excellent centrally located property which ideally suited my family and I on our recent short stay. We were met by George who was very friendly, providing us with detailed advice and help. The flat is lovely, bright, airy and very clean.

A well situated apartment in Barcelona

This apartment is well situated for walking as well as metro access. It is surrounded by trendy stores and good restaurants and is within blocks of the wonderful Picasso Museum. It is quite comfortable for up to 6 people, although fewer is perhaps better. You need to be able to walk up several flights of stairs, but you arrive to a light, comfortable place. The kitchen was well-equipped as well.
