A great family break

Having just returned from a wonderful week at the villa, I have to say that it has surpassed my expectations in every respect.
Despite viewing the extensive picture gallery on the website, which is also superb, there is always an element of trepardation in visiting a destination abroad for the first time.
I need not have worried - every whim is catered for here and you really do feel as if you are living like a king. The location is breathtaking and the accommodation outstanding in every respect.
Coupled with the refreshingly easy booking system and the engaging enthusiasm from the owner, Andy, I am now very much a guest for life here!

Have just returned from a fantastic week in this lovely villa. Having not been to Portugal for almost 20 years we'd all forgotten how wonderful Portugal is. Weather was near perfect and the location of the villa was great. The gardens of the villa and surrounding properties were really lovely. We made full use of the lovely terraces for al fresco dining and found lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The description on the web site was very accurate and Andy (owner) was very helpful and pleasant.

We would definitely consider returning and recommend it to friends.

Just back from 10 day visit to Alvor staying at this villa. The villa is superbly equipped and decorated. It lacks nothing. The internal layout is very spacious and suited the two families that stayed. As the villa is on three seperate floors, everyone could get their own space if they wanted. All bedrooms were large. Having your own pool was fantastic and we spent most time outside.

There were loads of sun loungers and the villa was well stocked with beach towels.

We had two very young children with us. No problems.

The site that the villa is located in was very private and it was easily the best accomadation available in the area.

We found that having your own car was best for getting about. A taxi from Alvor is only 4 euro but for going to the local supermarket and getting to the beaches, we found having the car was best. Alvor is about a 4-5 minute drive and the main beaches about the same. We liked that Alvor itself was not a big sprawl of a resort and had a great selection of restaurants and bars.

There are a couple of restaurans within a few minutes walk, but otherwise most restaurants were about a five minute drive. Our favourite restaurants was Vagabondo and Villa 45.

It was hard leaving and I would definitely hope to stay here again. The villa made the holiday.

I found dealing with the Owner very good, No problems at all and in fact they went out of their way to be helpful.

It is very refreshing to find a property that comes up to the full standard of its description - the property was just as described and to an excellent standard throughout.

Accommodation is generous and everyone had plenty of space / entertainment, lower level rooms are discrete and can be separated. Mid week maid service included.

Owner is very conscientious and helpful.

Alvor is a short distance away where there are bars / restaurants and there are plenty of beaches in the area but you need a car to make the most of the area.

Having just spent a week in this property I would recomend this Villa as being a perfect property matching the description given by the owner. The standard set is very high, decor, fittings and fixtures, bed linen and towels exactly as one would expect at home. For a group of ten people you would need transport to get you to and from the beach which is 5 minutes drive but only 2 or 3 to the centre of Alvor. Very good resturant within walking distance however. The club offers indoor and outdoor pools although the Villa pool is all you would need if you wish to spend the day at the Villa. I would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would have no hesitation in returning with my family.

Stayed in the villa with 8 golfing friends - villa was a really good size, very comfortable plenty of room to relax in and great to all be together rather than be in separate accom. Great golfing nearby, plus wonderful beaches. Alvor also had plenty of places to eat in and good nightlife. Everyone had a fantastic time will definitely be going back.
