Great Value

Stremmer Edmonton, Canada
Review Submitted: August 1, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We're a family of 4 with two teens. Just returned from 4 nights at this apartment and it was great. Exactly what was promised. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Mimika (the owner) will take great care of you, answering any questions you may have and arranging your ground transportation.

There is a bus stop close by (less than 100 yds from the apartment) and we never waited more than a minute or two for a bus that whisked us right to the Metro station.

Excellent value for your money!
Owner's Response: Dear Guests,

I am very glad indeed to know that your stay in Paris and particularly in our flat was a success and that you will keep in mind excellent memories of these holidays!

I really appreciate when my guests put into words their satisfaction, that means that my efforts to make them feel at home and to make more easy their stay are not unavailing.

It was for me a real pleasure to meet a such charming family like yours !
(I must confess that thanks to H.R. site I had the opportunity to meet many pleasant people from everywhere in the world and to have very positive and interesting contacts).

Thank you again for your kind review and best wishes!
Mimika

Bank Holiday Paris Trip

linkskills Leeds, England
Review Submitted: June 2, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We ( 2 adults, 2 children aged 6 and 2) visited Paris over the Bank holiday weekend. Apartment was lovely exactly as advertised. All the facilities you would need and all spotless. We were met at RER station and taken to the apartment where we were given an informative review of all amenities and transport links by Mimika. There are supermarkets, restaurants, childrens play parks all within 5 mins walk. Paris centre is 10 mins away on the train which is 10 mins walk, but there are buses within 2 mins walk. We had glorious weather so didn't mind walking. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Quiet Paris base

Review Submitted: January 27, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
A spacious, comfortable and clean apartment located away from the hustle and bustle of central Paris but with reasonable access to the centre. We walked to the Metro at Porte d'Orleans (approx 1km).

Very comfortable apartment

Weeces Brisbane, Australia
Review Submitted: January 20, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
From our initial contact via the internet until the last day of our stay Mimika was extremley helpful. No one in our party could speak French and when Mimika initially met us at the station she sorted out our public transport tickets for the entire stay - something we would have had difficulty doing on our own - before taking us back to the apartment. We found public transport easy to use and we rarely waited more than a few minutes for a train. Once you are on the train you are 12 minutes from Notre Dame. The only thing to be aware of is that to sightsee you need to catch public transport, you can't walk from the apartment to any of the sights.
The apartment was exactly as described and pictured which was a relief. The grocery shop around the corner was very conveniently located and had everything we needed.
Mimika kept in contact throughout our stay and we felt very well looked after. She organised the taxi for us the night before we left and even came to see us off at 4am to make sure the taxi turned up.
We are very happy to recommend this apartment.

Perfect choice

Mimika was a delight to deal with, both before we arrived and when she met us off the tube on arrival. Excellent apartment, so clean and comfortable. Beds are a dream. 10 mins from quick tube into centre of Paris. Couple of restaurants that were family friendly nearby (our daughter is 8 months). It made our trip to Paris logistically very easy and Mimika certainly helped with that. Also, it makes you feel like you are really in Paris when you are staying as a 'local' for the weekend, rather than in a faceless hotel. Definately recommend it to anyone! Remember to pop out for morning croissants in the morning!

Not quite as advertised

Review Submitted: November 5, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
Well-equipped and spacious apartment and very friendly and helpful owner. Only problem is, it's not in the 14th arrondisement as advertised, but 1km south of the Peripherique.

Great visit to Paris!

Family from Kaiserslautern Kaiserslautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
Review Submitted: October 23, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
From beginning to end, we had a wonderful experience at this apartment. Our host was prompt in replying to our email queries, and offered good advice in planning our trip. She met us upon our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment and neighborhood. The apartment was well-maintained and spacious. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have experienced during our travels! There was a small amount of street noise early in the evening (expected in the city), but it was surprisingly quiet after midnight. The only minor drawback was the distance to the metro system; approximately 5 blocks. Not a big deal in good weather, but something to consider for less mobile visitors or in wintertime. Even so, this was a small concession to make for a VERY reasonably-priced, clean and well-equipped apartment! Thank you for a great visit!
Owner's Response: Dear visitors,

We do really all our best to make you feel comfortable in our apartment and to help you thanks to prospectus or advices.
We are proud to say that many guests come back in our place for the second or third time.
In winter or if you are tired of walking (even Eiffel Tower is not right in front of a Metro station) feel free to use buses! At the doorstep, 4 different lines are leading to Porte d'Orléans Metro Station (1 bus every 5 minutes) and thanks to your touristic ticket, you don't pay a penny more...
Coming back to home after a long day devoted to sightseeing, it is easy to do your shopping as bus station is just in front of the supermarket (opening hours from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm).
On the other hand, Bus 68 is leading to Porte d'Orléans Metro and Bus Station (Bus 28 leading to Gare Saint Lazare across Champs Elysées, Bus 38 leasing to Gare du Nord across Quartier Latin).
With Bus 68, you can reach Catacombs, Louvre Museum, Opera and Galeries Lafayette stores.
During your stay, you can anytime contact us if you need more informations!

We thank all our guests for their kind appreciations and hope to see them again!

A cosy home in a Paris

Gardaseefan Hamburg
Review Submitted: May 21, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
The owners welcomed us warm and friendly. They gave us a lot of relevant informations about shopping (a good natural food store across the street) in the area (supermarket, post etc.), public transport (map from the metro etc.) and good tips for sightseeing. In the appartment you will find a selection of brochures. The appartment is in a quiet and safe area. Parking places are near by. Short way to the metro, busses and rer. It is well furnished (excellent matress), well equipped and very clean! We wish for each who decides for this apartment an equally beautiful time as we had.
We can recommend this beautiful apartment to everyone who wants to feel like home in Paris.
