this is a very nice house.
you feel at home within 5 minutes.
everything is there to feel at home.
the owner is very nice and will help you with your questions.
malaga city by bus is no problem or you can enjoy yourself at the beach which is in front of the house with a boulevard with nice bars and reastaurants.
we are sure we will visit this house for many other times in the future.

House 2nd Line beach El Palo

Hells Bells Co Down
Review Submitted: August 3, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Its not always easy to find a holiday destination which keeps different generations happy but this house provided enough good quality accomodation for us to all chill and do our own thing! The WI FI availability proved to be a hit for my 2 teenage daughters who had brought a laptop with them. I was happy to read on the top floor overlooking the beach and my husband enjoyed sleeping in the hammock!

It was like "home from home" + SUN. Its great when you have everything you need and dont have to worry about going out to buy basics such as soap as soon as you get there. (Which has been my experience in other places)

It was great to have the owner nearby in case of any queries. The info is accurate in that there is no English spoken but we got by. The fact that it is not a tourist area meant that it represented much better value for money.
We did not want a place with lots of noisy nightlife so this suited us all well.

There were plenty of places to eat out within walking distance and the proximity of the beach to the house was perfect.

We enjoyed sampling local food from both the supermarket and other smaller local shops.
We bought bus tickets for the week which meant a ride into Malaga was no problem. The efficiency and cost of travel would put Northern Ireland to shame!

The address did seem to confuse the taxi driver at the airport but once typed into his sat nav it was no problem.

We will definitely be back at another time of year and would like to use it as a base to travel to Madrid and other cities by train.

Most relaxing end to a perfect trip

Niret delta bc canada
Review Submitted: July 18, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Malaga was the last stop on our 3 week trip across London, Portugal and Spain. This was place the perfect ending to our trip. The villa was in awesome location, across the beach, close to all restuarants. This Villa was well equipped with everything you need, grocery stores very close by. Roof top patio had beautiful views of the ocean and perfect sunsets in the evening.
Barb the owner was very pleasant and helpful, she gave us the info we needed.
A great place for any age group,

Wonderful

Review Submitted: June 6, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We have rented a number of properties, but this one is without doubt the best. The house is fully equipped - everything you could need, with fantastic views and so very close to the beach and seafront restaurants. Being just behind the promenade, it is also very quiet. The town shops are also very close by, together with frequent cheap buses to Malaga and beyond. A very relaxing holiday, and a car is not necessary. Barbara, the owner, lives just opposite and is extremely helpful if you need anything.

Really relaxing fantastic house and location

We spent a week in May this year the house is really well equipped with everything you need for a first class stay. The location is great less than 50 mtrs from the beach and with lots of great restuarants bars and shops within easy walking distance. Buses run into Malaga every 8 minutes and cost 1 euro 10.

What really makes this place special is the two terraces the roof terrace is a great place to watch the sun come up or go down and the larger terrace with the dining area and the swing is a fantastic place to chill out and really enjoy doing not very much at all.

El Palo is a really nice very spanish place with a relaxed "non touristy" vibe. We've been to Spain lots and this was certainly one of the best rentals we've had.

Would really like to come back fantastic value for money and Barbara really made sure that we had all the information we needed for our stay regarding things to do and places to eat etc.

Can't really praise it enough really .......... It's like borrowing a friends house rather than renting an Apartment

Gross, genug Platz, sehr Zentral und Sauber. Mit dem Bus für 1,10 in 20 min in die Stadt. Taxi vom Flughafen c.a. 20 Euro. Sehr schöner Strand mit vielen guten Restaurants. Nettes Fischerdörfchen nördlich der Stadt. Die zwei Dachterassen sind der Hammer. Komme gerne wieder. Barbara ist sehr nett, gibt Auskunft vor Ort und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank. Kommen gerne wieder. Thanks a lot! Best Regards, Axel

A relaxing break

Fiss Manchester
Review Submitted: May 5, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We have just come back from a fantastic break and would like to recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break. The house is great, with both terraces well used by us for sunbathing and eating during our stay. The house is well equipped, and it's well located in a very non-touristy place. The beach is lovely and you can find restaurants/bars to suit any taste. We meant to go to Malaga but never made it! Next time maybe...

Easter 2009

An excellent base for the restful holiday we were looking for. House itself is great, with all the amenities you could want, but 2 things makes it extra special. First is the roof terrace, where we spent most of our time especially as the owner has had the foresight to put a mini kitchen there with microwave, fridge, kettle, percolator, crockery and cutlery so there is no need to leave the roof terrace during the day (unless you want to). The second great thing is the reason you may want to leave the roof terrace and that is that the beach is literally 15 seconds from the front door but, again an advantage, the house does not have a frontage to the beach which means that you are protected from any late night noise of people using the many restaurants adjoining the beach. The restaurants themselves are excellent and cater for most tastes, although fish lovers will be spoilt for choice.
The fact that there are 2 showers, which run off separate systems so 2 people can shower at the same time make the house suitable for full occupancy (there were 6 of us, including a 6 year old who had a great time especially on the beach).
We were looking for a relaxing holiday, which is exactly what we got but if you were looking for something more active this would be a good base as it is on a good bus route into malaga (only €1.10 standard fare) which only takes about 10/15 minutes.
The house was very clean on arrival and everything worked although the owner lives, literally, opposite and is on hand if anything were to go wrong.
In short I would recommend this property without reservation and have every intention of returning, hopefully in the very near future.

Super spot for relaxing getaway.

We had a great, relaxing holiday here. The two roof terraces are just fantastic you could spend the whole holiday up there. Lots of local restaurants within walking distance and the bus service into town is cheap and very efficient.
Our favourite local restaurant was the most expensive but worth at least one visit, Entremares (the owner speaks English if you need a hand with the menu).
Best wishes till our next visit

Chillout max

Review Submitted: February 23, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
If you want to sample all the cultural delights of Malaga city and bask in the sun as well, then this is the one for you. This house is fully fitted out, clean and with plenty of space for a family. The owner is English and is fluent in Spanish and will very agreeably, order a taxi for you. There are fine sea food restaurants only a stones throw from the door, where the fish is prepared straight from the sea. The roof terraces are pleasant spaces to chill out and enjoy the warm Mediterranean air. The bus stop is only a short walk away and travel links are easy for the rest of Andalucia.
We will be back!
