Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem Schäferhund für eine tolle Woche im schönen Appartment von Elise und Costanzo. Beide sind super freundlich, hilfsbreit und können wertvolle Tipps geben, wo man gut essen kann und welche Attraktionen sehenswert sind.Für Geniesser ein unbedingtes MUSS: Ristorante GIADA,PIA Tarchioni,25 Moneglia. Hier gibt es feinste Menues zum fairen Preis und liebenswerten Service! Bitte den Haus- gemachten Limoncello nicht verpassen!

Wir haben einige Urlaube in Ligurien verbracht und das zweite Mal in Moneglia bei Elsia und Costanzo. Es ist eine sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage. Das Appartment ist großzügig und komfortabel, der Blick über Olivenbäume bis zum Meer. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich super um die Gäste.Sehr erfreuen wir uns immer wieder an den eigenen Produkten wie frische Eier, Öl, Gemüse und Limoncello. Wandern und Meer gleichzeitig ist hier hervorragend gegeben. Moneglia ist ein netter kleiner Ort mit Geschäften und guten Restuarants. Es ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für das Cinque Terre.

My Husband and I had an excellent holiday(up the side of the Mountain) in Moneglia. THe owners made us very welcome. The apartment was very clean, with washing machine and large fridge. The view from the terrace was just lovely, very quiet and peaceful. Moneglie is a lovely town with small shops and Restaurants. Took the train to Pisa and to the Cinque Terre, then walked back, it was very beautiful. We would recommend this holiday to anyone who enjoys lovely scenery and peaceful setting.

My husband and I have just returned from three marvellous weeks in this lovely place just up the hill from Moneglia. We are more than pleased! Beautiful, tip-top appartment with solitude and company, marvellous wiew, near Moneglia and beaches. Exstremely kind hosts, who has supplied us with all sorts of fruits and vegetables, wine, bread,ravioli etc., all homemade of course! The place is so situated that it´s quite possible to make excursions over the day to Toscana, Milano, Genova etc. We highly recommend it and are looking forward to being able to return in the future! Spacious recent build apartment, very well maintained and clean. Propety is one of the last uphill, so the view at sea and surrounding hills is really fantastic from you own terrace. Lazy terrace-chairs are available. Also a perfect place to stay when you are planning to walk the Cinque Terre. The best way to visit and walk the Cinque Terre is to use the train to the first Cincque Terre-village. The parking in Moneglia can be difficult but the parkingplace at the trainstation (500m from centre) provides enough place. In Moneglia there are several shops, 2 supermarkets, restaurants, gelaterias and a nice beach. The owner of the apartment recommended us a very good restaurant in Moneglia, very nice food!
At the apartment you can buy from the owner: home-made bread (by "nonna"), fresh eggs from own chickens, good olive-oil, vinegar, home-made Limoncello, olives, red/white wine. And if you like "nonna" makes several times a week very good pizza's. Also they have their own vegetable-garden.
Certainly a place we are going back to.

The property has a good outlook over the sea from the balcony and we found it lovely to breakfast on the balcony. The kitchen was adequate and the bedroom was comfortable. Hot water took a long time to arrive at the taps but it was hot usually when it did arrive. The approach from the town was steeply uphill and downhill and narrow. Walking into Moneglia took 30 minutes but was strenuous. Parking was difficult in Moneglia. There was an infrequent bus. Train service along the coast was good. Moneglia has a good range of shops, cafes and gelaterie. The beaches are excellent, free and serviced. The owner is friendly, helpful and available within a short time.

Zuerst die gute Nachricht: Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen in der Ferienwohnung. Alles war vorhanden. Die Möglichkeit, eine Netzwerkverbindung zum Internet herzustellen, war in der Zeit der Bundestagswahl auch sehr angenehm.

Nun die schlechte Nachricht: Aus der Präsentation im Internet mussten wir davon ausgehen, dass es sich um eine einzelne Ferienwohnung handelt. Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall. Insgesamt sind vier Ferienwohnungen vorhanden. Die Terrasse unserer Wohnung grenzte unmittelbar an die Terrasse des Ferien-Nachbarn. Hiermit kann man sich arrangieren. Nur fühlten wir uns irgendwie getäuscht. Im Internet ist immer nur von „der“ Ferienwohnung die Rede. Offensichtlich wurde hier ganz bewusst der Eindruck erweckt, dass es sich um einzelne Wohnung handelt.

Zwei Jahre hintereinander mieteten wir diese Ferienwohnung und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Wohnung ist sauber, Bad und Wohnküche sehr großzügig. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und immer um eine optimale Atmosphäre bemüht. Die "Nonna" verkauft Brot, Obst, Gemüse, Oliven, Öl, Essig und eigenen Wein. Wenn es gewünscht wird, kocht sie mehrmals in der Woche für die Gäste, so dass Einkaufenfahrten in den Ort selten notwendig sind. Dies war auch ein Punkt, den wir sehr genossen. Am Abend war immer die riesige Terasse unser Aufenthaltsort, wo wir uns den selbstgemachten Wein schmecken ließen.
Wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.
