Smashing Villa and Location

Review Submitted: November 20, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We had a truly fantastic holiday and would HIGHLY recomend this villa This is a brilliant location - the local beach is just a minutes walk away so close enough to head back to the villa for lunch and drinks or just to cool off for an hour. We hired a car for 3 days to go to the Water Park (kids loved it!), Ayia Napa and Cape Greko, but with the beach, big pool and barby and super local restaurants and shops you really don't need a car. The villa itself was plenty big enough for our two families and despite being so close to everything you need it was peaceful and very homely. It was very well equipped with nice, modern furniture, plenty of seating inside and out and I don't know if it was the comfy beds or sheer exhaustion at the end of our days but we all slept really well. Liz and Steve were great to deal with and we are looking forward to our return visit in 2009! THANKS

We had high expectations and were not dissapointed. Fabulous villa, inside and out. The pool is huge and in the sun all day - there's loads of space to laze around outside. When we didn't barbecue we took the very short walk to the local restaurants. Faliros was our favourite! The 3 kids adored the beach and it really is only 2 minutes walk. The information the owners provided was very useful and they even helped with airport transfers. We loved it so much we didn't bother getting our security deposit back - we've used it to book another 2 weeks in 2010 and can't wait to return. Highly recomended

Fireman's Beach Villa

The location of this villa was perfect for my daughter (3 yrs) and my son (15mths), beach literally 5 mins easy walk, beautiful cove with shallow waters. Villa was spacious, well maintained, modern and well furnished and ticked every box for our accommodation needs. Local restaurants and bars were nearby just a short 5 minute walk , great Chinese which delivers takeouts and a lovely italian restaurant. I will be recommending this villa to friends and family should they wish to visit Cyprus.

Great holiday in May 09 - highly recommended.

Review Submitted: June 10, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Had a brilliant week here in early May this year, the weather was glorious so the lovely pool (which is a really good size for a holiday villa and really clean) was very welcome and we did lots of lazing by it. Worth noting they have lots of sun loungers. House was spotless with all mod cons, and spacious enough for a family holiday. They even have a high chair which is very useful if required!

Great location even if you don't have a car as there are a couple of beaches within a short walk and the villa is literally minutes away from the local shops, including a good bakery and a couple of small supermarkets, and a decent selection of restaurants with enough quality and variety to last you at least a week without getting bored.

The Italian is particularly good which is a few minutes walk turning left at the top of the lane as you walk up from the villa as as is the Greek restaurant which is opposite you just at the top of that lane.

We hired a jeep for a few days from the local car hire place (about ten minutes walk from the villa heading left along the main road and then it's on the right) which actually turned out cheaper than some we'd seen in Ayia Napa. We headed inland stopping at one of the many local roadside restaurants for a fabulous kebab and drove through the mountains, visiting Lefkara which is a sweet little village famous for lace making and silver goods and jewellery.

Another great thing to do is a day boat trip from Ayia Napa which is about 15 minutes away by car - there are quite a few boats to choose from down on the harbour and most sailed at around 11am.

So all in all highly recommended and the owners Liz and Steve were very easy to deal with too which makes all the difference.

We loved it !!!

Review Submitted: December 23, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We stayed 10 days at Firemans Beach villa for a friends wedding in August. It was an extra holiday for most of us so 8 of us decided to share a villa to keep the costs down. As organizer I was keeping my fingers crossed but I needn’t have worried. As soon as we arrived we knew it was going to be a good holiday.

The villa is just as described, very spacious, well equipped, and modern but homely too. The pool was great - really big and they came three times while we there so it was always spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space outside to relax, a nice garden area, and large table and barbecue.

As you’d expect in August the weather was amazing and really hot but thankfully the air-conditioning was very efficient and quiet. We were close to Ayia Napa which made for a few good nights out but most of the time we just chilled and enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants that were a short walk away.

Despite my initial reservations about booking direct with the owner and not through a holiday company it couldn’t have worked out better. The owners were easy to deal with and overall the whole group were totally satisfied. I’ll definitely do this again even without the wedding! I only hope that next time it works out just as well.

Cyprus was lovely and we couldn’t fault the villa or location – I’d have no hesitation in recommending this for a great summer holiday.

Fabulous Villa in a quiet, select location. It was very spacious with a high standard of furnishings throughout.
The kitchen has all mod cons with everything you would need.
The outside area is very relaxing with patio, gardens and a lovely pool.
All in all ..... a fabulous holiday in a fabulous villa.
In fact it was so good we have booked another 2 weeks in 2009.

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at Firemans Beach Villa for a week in October 2008. The villa is very well equipped and is really close to the lovely beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants. The villa is really spacious and considering there were 9 of us we never felt over crowded. All the bars and restaurants were lovely but our favourites were Faliros and Mello. We would definately consider returning.

We had a wonderful holiday and the villa was amazing and perfect for us. Definitely a family holiday that we will not forget and some amazing memories.

The villa location is perfect as it just out of the way to be peaceful but close enough to shops, bars and restaurants if you want to venture out. The pool is amazing and the villa felt like a home.

Thanks Liz and Steve!
