Excellent

We spent a relaxing week with friends at this wonderful holiday home, everything there you need or want (home from home). Very modern and beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, comfy beds, fabulous terrace with marvelous views of the sea, the sun setting and rising (if you are up early enough - we were!!). Beaches, shops and resturants just a few minutes walk down the hill. The beaches are clean the sea is clear or you can spend the day by the pool enjoying the well kept gardens. Although we went 1st week of October the wearther was perfect and the air con help at night to keep us cool. The old town is a must for a visit, and if you are considering this house for your holiday - go for it you wont regret it.

Many thanks Trudy for a very enjoyable stay.

This is a wonderful holiday home. It has everything you need and is both modern and comfortable. The views from the terrace are just amazing and watching the sunrises over the sea is something else.

We will definately be back and would highly recommend this holiday home.

Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely holiday home.

We have just had two fantastic weeks in Trudy and Martin's wonderful home. The terrace is perfect for having breakfast and watching the sun go down while dining with a glass of wine or two. Getting up in the morning and having a dip in the pool was a great way to start the day, we had long walks along the wonderful beach stopping off at el Cids for lunch.Trudy and Martin's Mojacar home is excellent with all the facilities you would have in your own home, their place is second to none, even membership to the video club if you fancy a night in with a film. We have been in touch already to book for next year, that will be our third holiday in this great home. Thank you Mad, Jeff, Ian and Gelly.

This is the perfect holiday home to chill out in Mojacar. This is the second time we've stayed in this property, which in itself is a recommendation.

The property is comfortable, well equiped and is perfectly situated, with numerous eating etablishments within walking distance.

We hope to return to one day!

3rd time in Mojacar

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Balcones Del Mar and have just booked a return visit. This is the first time we have ever rebooked the same property, so we obviously loved it ! The complex is quiet and the pool is surrounded by a pretty garden area which was not busy when we were there, so we very often had the pool to ourselves. The house is very tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, so doesn't have the feel of a holiday let. I can't think of anything that was lacking, ( apart from a dishwasher ) plenty of towels, crockery etc. and the electric grill is excellent , much easier to use than a bbq. It was lovely to wake up to the stunning view ( not sure about the "castle" ) of the sea and the hillside. The beach down the hill to the right is the nicest stretch along the strip and parking is never a problem. Also, down the hill and its just a short walk to several excellent restaurants. Thanks very much Trudy, for renting your house to us and for the always prompt replies to emails and queries etc.

A lovely clean and tidy town house. Very modern, comfortable beds and living space. Everything you need for a holiday.
The most amazing views from every window.
The pool area is well looked after, pool is lovely. Not many people around pool.
Great places to eat and drink. Only a minute drive, as we where lazy or a couple of mins walk. Hill is not to bad, have a couple of drinks before hand and you wont feel it.
Weather was good considering it was november.
We got engaged on 03/11/2008 on porta ray beach.
A must is the old town, a 1euro busy ride eat tapas, visit all the old houses and coble streets.
The beach is at the bottom of hill infront of the bars, resturants and shops, it is a yellow sandy beach which is very clean and well looked after.

We have just returned after a months stay and loved every minute of the holiday and the townhouse. The hill is a shock at first but we soon got used to it as the views are well worth the effort.Caught a couple of sun-rises which were beautiful. The house is modern and has every home comfort needed. Our little bbq's on the terrace at night were just lovely,Also spent a few nights on the big leather settee watching C.S.I on the dvd.It just has everything and cant praise it enough. The pool is great and well maintained, we found it can get rather busy at times as its shared with quite a few other propeties but theirs always the beach! A car is essensial, at least to get your shopping home but also to explore the beautiful surrounding areas .Weather your a couple or have a family with small children or teenagers it wiil suit all. Our daughters (22yrs and 19yrs) came out and stayed for the week and loved it and were sure everyone else will too.

April 2009 stay

The property is small but well furnished and is in a lovely location for the views. However, the hill is quite steep and not for people with walking problems. It may be 5 minutes walking down to the beach but it is a lot longer walk up the hill. A car is essential, in our opinion.
The pool was nice with a lovely garden but there are no sun loungers, so if you sunbathe you have to lie on the grass.
The hill plus the lack of sun loungers is the reason for a score of Good and not excellent.

The house was beautifully furnished and presented and had everything we needed and more. Beds very comfortable, a perfect home from home. All complex residents very nice and friendly. Great customer service from the owner. Definitely recommend to a friend. Try the Da Vinci (Italian), Autopull Tapas Bar (pull your own pint), Ariba & Badgers for great food. The Chinese & Indian takeaways were great too. If you're looking for a nice, quiet, relaxed resort with friendly people, then this is the perfect holiday for you.
