Hesperides Gardens Cyprus....Why we loved it

The property was as advised. The owner was helpful without intruding, even calling after our arrival to assertain that all was to our liking. The property was clean and quiet. We have 2 boys ( 6 and 7) and they loved the pool. The maintanence workers kept the outside clean and green and security personnel were evident at night. We felt safe and relaxed. We hired a car to go to the beach and to the harbour area though the harbour is walkable for adults (my husband did this). We loved the waterpark though it was quite expensive. Thanks for the brochures in the property we used them to give us ideas for place to go and restaurants. Definately would recommend this property. The owner made it all so easy which was our one concern of not being in a hotel that we would have too much to wory about. We will also stay there again when we next go to Cyprus as the whole family loved our time there. Also, having the outdoor area near the pool was great, there was still privacy as needed, without having to lug thing up stairs. The owner has provided DVDs, and books ( which I read all but 2 )and even beach toys for all ages and the kitchen was well stocked (except for tongs) We cooked a lot at night due to the ages of our children and the oven works nicely. The price was in our opinion definate value for money!!

House is perfect, very comfortable & very clean, with beautiful furnishings. Perfectly situated for sight seeing. Excellent to have been to able step from the patio into the pool in a few seconds. Welcome pack of essential foodstuffs added a perfect touch to the holiday. Exceptional complex.

This was our second stay at Hesperides Gardens our first stay was in 2007. The house was again clean and immaculately presented. The gardens are looking fantastic now that they have had a year to mature.
It was good to see more people using the pool this year as last year it was very quiet. The crystal clear water in the pool was warm, in fact just perfect, and it seemed the best time to go and join the other guests for a swim and a chat was between 4.30 p.m and 5.00p.m. The ice cream man arrives about 5.30 pm so that finished off most of our relaxing afternoons.
We will definitely be booking the property again and would thoroughly recommend it.

whilst the property itself is acceptable the building work all around creates noise and dirt which is intrusive especially around the pool.
The owner was aware of this and chose not to tell us and I wouls strongly recommend anybody thinking of renting this property to look at the numerous others available in the area

Owner's Response: My wife and I were very upset to receive this review. We pride ourselves on our immaculately kept, well presented modern and comfortable holiday home. We have received numerous telephone calls and positive reviews from many of our guests in the last year telling us how much they have enjoyed staying in our property.
I personally stayed with my family at our house for two weeks immediately after the departure of this guest and whilst there were building works across the road approximately 200 metres away from our complex, it certainly did not spoil the enjoyment of our holiday. My wife sunbathed around the pool and I swam with my son without distraction. Building work continues in Paphos as it does in most holiday destinations, this is regrettable but clearly beyond our control.
Finally, I would like to say that guests that stayed in April 2008 have contacted me to re-book for 2009. This suggests to me that they enjoyed their holiday and the service and quality of our holiday home was clearly more than just acceptable. If you are a future guest and have any questions no matter how trivial please call us

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our requirements. We had our two boys with us who are 17 years old. The location of the apartment meant that they could walk into Paphos town and come back whenever, whilst we could relax on the open patio or chat to other guests around the best pool I've seen in Cyprus

Having a car is not essential but I would suggest it, especially if you wish venture out of town. If you want to get a taxi locally we have a telephone number in the house.

We stayed at the property in November, and the weather was still warm enough to wear shorts & T-Shirts. Upon arrival the keys where available as instructions, and we where greeted by a well thought out welcome pack.
The property is nicely furnished, and finished to a high standard. The beds where comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows available. The patio is ideally located poolside, and is really pleasant to watch the sunsets from, as well as take breakfast there.
It is a short walk into town, and even closer to the convenient store just along the road.
We had a great stay there, and have already booked again.

It is a quieter time for tourists, but day time temperatures are still in the late 20's with 9-10 hours of sunshine per day, and ofcourse the pool has been warmed all season, so it is still great for swimming.

our holiday at hesperides gardens could not have been better. The villa was superb, modern, clean and with every home comfort.we enjoyed the pool which is just a few steps away from the villas sun terrace, ideal for families. eating alfresco was fantastic most of our meals were eaten outside. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing fun holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house and our first impressions of a clean, comfortable and well equipped property were confirmed during our very relaxing holiday here.
We found the level walk to the harbour took us about 30 minutes but it was interesting looking at all the different varieties of plants along the way.
Although this property is new it was good to see the birds back into the surrounding trees and newly planted shrubs. We took delight at watching them over breakfast on the terrace and in the evening over a glass of wine.
The starter food pakage was a very thoughtful and pleasant surprise which was fully appreciated.
In conclusion we would reccommend this property wholeheartily to anyone looking to visit Cyprus and experience it's culture, friendly people and warm climate.

We had a really nice time, could not fault the location.The pool was very clean and the house was excellent in everyway. I think overall we could not have picked a better place to stay, the owners were very helpful.

Wonderful Holiday

Stayed at Hesperides Gardens 1st to 14th Sept 2007, and had a wonderful holiday, the house was in a fantastic position on the complex with a lovely view from the patio of the superb pool, the complex is new but already feels like a little oasis. The house was very well furnished and above all very clean had everything you could need, a definate plus were the comfy beds.
Would recommend a car but having said that we did walk into Paphos a few times. Would not hesitate in recommending this property and will surely be returning. The owner Simon was most helpful and very friendly nothing is too much trouble, Thank You.
