Nice appartment, in the perfect location!!

Brian & Anne Newcastle upon Tyne
Review Submitted: September 28, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
In 18 years this is one of the best and most memorable properties we have ever rented in France.

Very efficient and nice owner( Catherine) has added some very nice touches, fresh flowers etc.

Very, very clean and modern interior & bathroom.

Fantastic view, better than shown in the advert, sunrise is something special each morning.

Very important air conditioning..... you can shut out any evening traffic noise and the sound of the waves and go to bed and get a comfortable nights sleep in a lovely bed.

Swim just across the road, shops just around the corner. best bread etc 500m along road behind appartment block towards Nice, worth the walk

Don't waste money on a taxi, free shuttle from terminal 2 to 1, then get the number 23 bus from terminal 1 at the airport to bus stop ROSA BONHEUR, (1 euro) this is the street behind the appartment 100m away see timetables on the internet, you can get a weekly pass 15 euros at kiosk just outside termimal 2 at the bus station. Get a route map here as well. Very useful

Best restaurants
Villa D'este 6 Rue Massena, first class quality, pasta pizza, and everything else, beware very large portions, they allow you to share if you ask. Sweets are also very large.

Also up a narrow alley........ La Villa 14 Rue de' l'Abbaye. Corsican and Provencal food, very nice staff.

Don't miss this....Use your bus pass (no 81) from the city bus station to go to Cap Farat and visit Rothchilds Villa, also very nice for lunch.

You can pick up a bus route map and street plan at the tourist information on the Promenade des Anglais towards city.

Enjoy your holiday

Lovely apartment with fantastic view

Review Submitted: September 23, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Better than seen on photos the apartment is actually part of famous Promenade de Angle and with its trendy and comfortable interior shall allow you spend lovely sunny days in South of France.

All logistical arrangements starting from booking and contract signature till departure went smooth and far much better then with any tourist agencies. So if you like to organize things on your own – this apartment is a good choice to “book & forget” about any logistics: from clean warm towels to high-speed broad-band Internet.

We highly recommend this apartment for couples, family with kids; and of course to those who had a hard-working year behind – the sea is 30 seconds walk, so there shall be no reasons to avoid the se.

And by all means you will never forget lovely and cozy coffee and restaurants in Nice and around. In addition – most places are indeed walking distance which made our holidays even more enjoyable.

They stay was fantastic and we plan to make it a tradition to stay here. Lovely.

Wonderful apartment

Review Submitted: September 16, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
We stayed in Catherine's apartment last year, the last week of August.
The apartment is exquisite and the pictures describe it perfectly.
You can see the sea while staying in bed or laying on the couch which gave us an amazing feeling. We crossed the street and get to the beach..
Everything was provided in the apartment at a very high level of quality. And we didn't feel like in a hotel, as everywhere there was a personal touch that made us feel welcom..
Everything was very well thought of. Easy to find, perfectly explined.

Safira and Catherine provided us with very useful information.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! I highly recommend this apartment.

Three week stay

Review Submitted: June 1, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We have stayed in several apartments in Nice, and finally found the ideal. This is it. Perfect modern apartment, wonderful view, fifteen minutes from airport, easy access to all of the City's attractions and close to public transport. Madam Lamy is extremely helpful, patient, and professional. We cannot find fault with anything. We had a truly wonderful three weeks. Hope to be there again.

Sea front flat

Review Submitted: March 26, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The flat was charming, beautifully furnished to a high standard, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and exactly as described. It is south-facing with a spectacular view overlooking the sea and catches the sun all day. The owner provided excellent and friendly service as well as being helpful in accommodating our early arrival.

Our stay couldn't have been better. The little extras that Catherine provides makes the experience more a boutique hotel rather than just an apartment rental. The view is amazing and the location is within walking distance of Old Nice or if you want a 1 euro bus ride from across the street.

October in Nice

Crosshall Cambridgeshire, UK
Review Submitted: October 22, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Catherine's waterfront fifth floor apartment overlooking the Promenade des Anglais in Nice was exactly as described and every bit as good. As long term renters of holiday properties in France, this was one of the very best in terms of position, standard of presentation and functionality. The welcome and service provided was friendly, professional and most comforting.

High Quality, with an incredible view!

Review Submitted: August 26, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Spent a very good week at this property. Wonderfully equipped with *everything* you need for a self-catering holiday and across the street from the beach. Two decent supermarkets nearby, with a bakery within 60-seconds! The view is simply delicious, with the azure-blue of sea and sky dominating your days and nights.

The owner is very organised commercially and has good local support for settling in. The attention to detail in the arrangements and in the apartment is commendable, five-star.

Highly recommended.

The view says it all

Tim and Melissa Melbourne, Australia
Review Submitted: June 10, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
Previous time spent in Nice confirmed the location of this apartment is perfect in every way. For first time visitors, just about everything Nice offers is walking distance. Convenience or supermarket shopping is 5 minutes. Be assured the pictures on this site are 100% of the reality... a view to 'die for'. The apartment is modern, practical and 'trendy', in a well designed studio style which lends itself to a 'champagne on the balcony' every evening, simply just taking in the 'surrounds'. Everything expected and more in a self contained apartment is provided. Car parking at this time of year right in front on the Promenade des Anglais presented no problems day or night. Is ideal for couples of any age or circumstance, plus there's a comfortable looking convertible sofa arrangement. We were just so happy to be there and sad to depart. Catherine Lamy was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment with a 5 out of 5 rating.
