Terrific apartment

Review Submitted: August 8, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This apartment is terrific, it lives up to the description & was spotlessly clean & the location is excellent, great rerstaurants just a few steps away from the front door & the beach an easy walk away, no need for a car here.
Michelle was really helpful & made us feel very welcome.
We've had many holidays in & around Antibes but this rates as the best apartment we have found, we felt so comfortable there we didn't want to come home.

I am a bit reluctant to review this apt.because I want to keep this place a secret.Spent a week in sept.2009 in Antibes, it is a great apt. in a great location, plenty of room and spotlessly clean, with a small balcony to sit out and watch the world go by.Will be back.

Great Location, very nice apartment

Review Submitted: September 1, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We stayed here for a week in August 09 - the apartment is perfect for a couple but would be a squeeze for 4 people. It was presented in very good condition - clean, well appointed, newly decorated and the owner was very welcoming. Working cable TV and wireless internet.

Located in the old town, the apartment is very well situated for restaurants, beaches and all transport links. Cannes, Nice, Juan les Pins and lots of other great spots on the cote d'azur are just a few minutes away by train or bus. Public and private beaches in Antibes are less than a 10 minute walk.

On the negative side, the balcony is a little on the small size to be used for meals, etc. but why would you eat in when there are so many great restaurants in Antibes!

Recommended for couples.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to post the review, much appreciated.
Being a 1 bedroom apartment it is ideal for 2, but I think it's nice to have a sofa-bed to give people the option...but balcony dining is only for 2. If there are more of you there is the extendable dining table in the living area which easiliy seats 4.

The apartment (clean, well-equipped) is fantastically located in a pedestrian zone of Antibes. We have nothing to complain. And the owner: helpful, with very nice personality.

Great week in Old Antibes

Antibe-an Scotland
Review Submitted: June 9, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
This appartment lives up to its description very well. It is extremely well appointed and in a really convenient location for all the things anyone might want to do in Antibes (which is a wonderful old town, if you don't know it!)
Light and airy, with a small balcony that allows for al-fresco dining (for 2!), the appartment offers a chance to experience breakfast from the boulengerie just over the road, and easy meals form the charcuterie just down the road. Or, if you feel lazy, step out for breakfast in any number of cafes just minutes from the front door.
If you want to live in e heart of a picturesque old town, this appartment will suit you very well.
There are many shops withing easy walking distance, as well as three supermarkets.
The local bus terminus is just round the corner, and the buses are easy to use and cheap!
Michelle, the owner, has left a very helpful and informative folder of guest information.
This is an appartment we will be very happy to return to in years to come.

Holiday of a Lifetime

Mark and Leah South Africa
Review Submitted: April 23, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
A 'Holiday of a lifetime', is how we will describe our holiday in Michelle's flat in Antibes.
We have thoroughly enjoyed staying in the 'Old Town', and it was so lovely to stroll around all the beautiful old lanes and streets and shops.
The flat is perfectly situated, very clean and very well equipped and just as advertised.
We enjoyed Cannes, Monaco (very much), Monte Carlo, Nice and also Ventimiglia (Italy). The buses and trains here are excellent, no need for a car really.
It will be our dream, to return one day, to this lovely place.

We stayed here for a gorgeous week in early October. The property is as good as it was advertised to be: clean, bright, quiet, terrific location. Michelle met us on time and made sure we knew she was available for any problem we had. (We had none.)
Thanks Michelle, for a wonderful place.

Fantastic Apartment in the Centre of Antibes

Review Submitted: September 17, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
What a fab apartment - great location, an abundance of restaurants, boulangeries & patisseries all within walking distance. 3 great supermarkets also close by. The apartment can only be described as home from home, anything we could have needed was available, including a selection of Disney DVDs, bucket & spade and a highchair & travel cot - all essential for a holiday with a toddler - many thanks Michelle!!

Antibes is the gem of the Riviera, the daily covered food market is not to be missed and as a result we enjoyed a gourmet lunch every day!
Regular visits to the marina to ogle at the mega yachts is also a must. And there are a number of lovely beaches.

All I can say is what a fantastic holiday and we will DEFINITELY be back!

We loved our two weeks in this lovely apartment. It is perfectly situated for transport links, the buzz of the Old Town and the port and beach area. Nothing is more than a very gentle stroll away!
The owner lives nearby, and provided plenty of info ahead of time to help prepare our visit.
The apartment has everything you'd need for an enjoyable stay, and also has beach kit to use - very handy. It was spotless when we arrived, and is bright and airy. The aircon is great too!

We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment!
