A jewel in Menton

Apartment was as described, excellent location and view from balcony, Interior lacked some of the items normally found in other properties ie electric kettle,.
Bathroom: no toilet paper, unsecured bidet, shower head un setable. Shelf grubby.
Road noise could be intrusive.
Conciege charming and helpful.

Woudl I use this apartment again ? Probably.

A lovely studio,perfect in the Center of the city!We have had a wanderfull Holyday here!

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable two weeks here in July 2008. The apartment is just a studio, with a sofa-bed, but clean and well-lit, with a very charming balcony and view to the water, just as the picture shows. The building itself is very grand, well-kept, and excellently located. The concierge is helpful and friendly, so is the landlady. The kitchen facilities are fairly minimal, although adequate for al fresco lunches with goodies from Menton's excellent market (in a lovely C19th building by Eiffel!). We were disappointed to learn that the 'communal pool' mentioned in the ad is not a pool belonging to the building, as we had thought, but a municipal pool a couple of kilometers' walk away. The beach is close, however, though then again you will have to get used to the stones - many people buy special sandals and mats. The stones in Nice are worse - it's just how it is in that part of the world. Menton itself is a delight. Unlike Nice, etc., it is not too expensive or glitzy. The restaurant center is just a few blocks walk along the esplanade that fronts the beach. There is a charming old town, a fort, a basilica, a marina - we had a great time, and you would too.

My wife and I stayed a week in August,and was splendid.
The position of the apartment is ideal,very very close to the sea,
a block away there is a supermarket,and many shops.
The apartment is only 5 min. walking from the old centre of Mentone.
The area is windy and fresh even in august.
I recommend it without hesitation.

I spent a very nice holiday in Menton and in this romantic studio.
The apartment has a good view on the seaside and you can easy visit oll the city and the near Monaco.It's a quite place where you can go to the seaside,or visit town,have fun, go to Monaco casino or to see Monaco Grand Prix.
I hope I come return to Menton as soon as possible.
