Reviews of Property: Luxury two bed apt, aircon, on the ever popular Club Albufeira resort

We have just returned from a two week stay in the apartment and which can only be described as wonderful.I agree completely with the other reviewers that the standard of the apartment is second to none and is very well maintained. The owners of the apartment Jim & Anne could not have made us feel more genuinely welcome and had an airport transfer organised for us on our arrival. Which with two very young children late in the evening could not have been more helpful. The apartment development is also of a very high standard and definitely the highest quality of the developments we saw in Albuferia. The complex now has four pools. Which are all very well maintained and a very high level of hygiene. We only ate light snack lunches in the poolside restaurants and these great value for money.The owners of the apartment provided us with a bar-b-que which we used every night on the balcony of the apartment. Shopping facilities on the complex are convenient,reasonably priced and well stocked.There is an on site shop where we bought freshly baked bread each morning and English newspapers are available. Just across the road from the complex there is also a well stocked mini supermarket.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment rental to all. We had two small children aged 3 and 1.5 who loved the pools, visits to the local water parks and beaches. They made full use of the beach equipment and toys supplied with the apartment.We had a very genuinely relaxed and completely stress free family holiday. One thing other reviewers did not mention was that the apartment is very secure. There are metal shutters on all the windows and there is a safe for valuables in the apartment.The weather in Mid Sep 08 was fantastic and had many memorable evenings bar-b-queuing and watching lovely sunsets. We would definitely consider returning to Club Albufeira and renting this apartment.If you are thinking of Albufeira I don't think you could do any better than renting this apartment!

We have just returned from a great 10 night stay in this apartment. I wold agree with the previous review regarding the quality of the apartment which is obviously well cared for and maintained and looks exactly as advertised. The owners provided a shopping service prior to our arrival, booked our airport transfers and even dropped us off in the old town on the day we were leaving- they even provided a cool bag,beach towels and buckets and spades.The complex itself was immaculate, pool areas clean with lifeguards at all three of the pools. We ate regularly at the onsite restaurant staff were friendly and the food excellent and good value for money. The onsite shop and supermarket nearby provided all the essentials we would consider returning to this apartment in the future.

I would like to agree with previous favourable reviews of this apartment and add a couple of points.
In addition to being every bit as good as it looks in the pictures - the owner kindly provides idiotproof directions from the airport and will get in groceries for you in advance at no extra cost.
Our party stayed for two weeks and while my husband and I had a perfectly relaxing holiday my 20yr old daughter and chum had a much wilder time ......the location makes it suitable for either .The layout of this two bed, two bathroom also gives a lot of privacy to its occupants.
The onsite facilities mean you could quite easily do without a car - there is a choice of three pools;all different and all with nice snack-bars We ate lunch at the restaurant onsite and the food was good.The 'wee shop' carries the usual range of necessities and there is a bigger supermarket just down the road .Taxi fare from Albufeira was under 4 euros I am informed by stiletto wearing daughter but also walkable if in reasonable shoes !
We had a car and tended to go to Albufeira or Vilamoura at night and found many good places to eat - aided by a folder in the flat full of previous occupants' experiences,good and bad of local restaurants - which was a nice touch.
It is always a worry when choosing accommodation online so a recent experience is reassuring that things are as they should be .I would certainly recommend this property having seen the care shown in maintaining it to a high standard , and think the owner provided a supportive and unobtrusive service cleaning thoroughly once a week and bringing lovely clean towels twice a week .
One more thing - it is within easy driving reach of two fabulous waterslide parks which provide an energetic fun day out for all ages.

I took my mother to this apartment last year and we had the most fantastic holiday. In fact I have booked to return again with my husband and two children this summer! The Apartment is gorgeous, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The Owners were such lovely people and so helpful. The facilities available nearby are brilliant. We loved all the pools at Club Albufeira and enjoyed the mini-golf. You are also close to the beach and the courtesy minibus was great. We usually walked into the town though.We particularly like the old town. It is so pretty, with a fabulous choice of restaurants. We had a very peaceful, relaxed holiday and the weather was fantastic. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to all my friends.
