The Pink Palace

My family and I have stayed in many holiday homes rented direct from the owners and this property is by far the best. The property was immaculately clean on arrival and the management company phoned us the morning after our arrival to check everything was okay as did the owner. I cannot recommend this property enough. My children are aged 11 and 12 and they both voted the week staying in this home as better than the week in Orlando visiting all the parks. They enjoyed riding the bikes provided in the garage and fishing at the bottom of the garen. The pool area was again immaculate and the pool was lovely and warm. The area had many lovely restaurants but to be honest the house was so nice and the kitchen so well equiped that we ate in may night sitting by the pool. Top attraction during our stay was hiring a boat from the local beach area and having dolphions swim alongside us. We will never forget that day.
The area reminds me very much of Australia which I love and our family will definately be back. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone. The before and after visit service from the owners was also suberb and they genuinely seem to care that you have a nice time in their beautiful home.

Have just got back from 2 weeks at this lovely villa and from the moment we opened the front door we felt completely at home. The villa is spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, the beds were the best we've slept in on holiday, The villa is very well equipped, from sharp kitchen knives down to a picnic box and beach umberellas, there's also a good selection of books and dvd's. There is a good amount of outside space enabling you to choose between sun and shade all day, the pool and spa were fantastic. The villa is on a quiet street and is not overlooked and is about 20 minutes to some fabulous beaches, Boca Grande beach is magnificent and teeming with wildlife and was practically desserted in July, great shopping in Fort Myers outlet centres and loads of places to eat.
We can thoroughly recommend this villa and it's quite obvious that Roy and Mel consider this their home and don't just view it as a business opportunity, we'll definatly be back

Jacey Family. Yet again another fantastic holiday in what must be one of the best holiday homes in Florida. This home really does have the wow factor and I truely cannot think of anything that it, the maintenance company or the Smith family doesn't provide. We love it !!

We have booked this villa for the fourth time in 2009. The pictures do not do it justice, it is superb. Everything has been thought of, the attention to detail is excellent. The rooms are large and airy, the pool is bigger than you would expect and shops and restaurants are convenient. The local town has enough for your daily needs and the beaches are clean and family friendly. For more choice of shopping and dining it is worth visiting Port Charlotte ( about 15 minutes away) or further up the coast to Sarasota. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, Roy and Mel and the management company that maintain the property are friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa although selfishly we would love to keep it secret as it is so special we really don't want to share it with anyone!
