Reviews of Property: Nice centre/sea: newly renovated sunny 1 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies

The apt is set in a really old traditional block with a secure compound and a secure external door. There are 4 flights of stairs with no lifts , but not really a problem for us. We couldnt see the light switch on the first night so used our phones for light , until we realised what we thought was the doorbell was the light switch!When the door was opened the smell of clean washing came wafting out, the apt was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. Although the apt was small the balcony was a godsend. It was fantastic drinking wine watching the sun go down over neighbouring blocks. The kitchen was well equipped , no kettle you just use a pan. There is a long pedestrianised street nearby full of restaurants, shops and bars. The flower market is worth going to but that is a little longer on foot. There is a good cuban bar nearby for mojitos! Drinks in general are expensive,but the buses are really cheap. One euro anywhere. Cannes, Monte Carlo, and Ventimille are worth visiting, the first two just to look at the rich people and their fabulous cars and boats. Clare who met us was very friendly. We paid her our deposit and she returned it when we gave her the keys. A word of warning though, we left the window open the first night and got bitten. We picked up a number of mosquito bites over the 4 days which we didnt expect. There is a fan in the bedroom , worth using that. The size was ideal for 2 of us , but I would have felt a bit cramped if there were 4.All in all I would definitely recommend the apt and Nice

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Nice. Het appartement ligt heel centraal, vlakbij strand en Rue de France. Toch rustige omgeving.Sfeervol ingericht. Schoon. Wel aangeven als je gebruik wilt maken van slaapbank i.v.m beddengoed. Lichte ruimte, veel ramen. Ook de communicatie vooraf is prettig verlopen .

Excellent location: range of restaurants, shops, super local boulangerie; very close to beach and all public transport. Whilst a small apartment, there is a feeling of spaciousness in the minimalist though comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Delightful, obliging owner and friendly neighbours add to the charm.
I can strongly recommend this property. Whilst it sleeps 4(there's a large sofa-bed) I think it more suited to a couple. As it is on the top floor with no lift, it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems, but for those who are reasonably fit, the stairs provide the perfect way to shed some of the calories acquired in the bars and restaurants!

Lovely appartement located in the centre of Nice. Very nice location; restaurants and shops all around and only 3 minute walk from the beach. A nice balcony topped it of.

The appartement was as it has been described.
The property was very clean and well maintained. It had just been renovated, so everything new and clean.

Customer service was excellent, always standby.

I would highly recommend this appartment to anyone else.
Since it's located in Nice centre, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and museums are all around you.

Beautiful appartment near the main shopping area and beach in Nice. Stayed there last summer, it was great!

Excellent location for Promenade, train station and pedestrian zone. Terrace is great for all-day and evening use as there is a retractable sun canopy. We ate all of our meals on the terrace. It is on the top floor so there are a few stairs to climb. Cool air can be delivered by opening doors and windows which are on 3 sides of the apartment. There are restaurants, fast food outlets and an internet cafe just at the end of the road.
The owners are very friendly, helpful and live in Nice so can tend to any issues. I stayed here for 23 nights to relax between jobs and i did just that.
Next time we are in Nice, we will try and book this apartment.
