The perfect getaway!

The Yorkshire Returners Leeds West Yorkshire
Review Submitted: October 24, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Have just returned from our second stay at Casa Verde and enjoyed the experience just as much as the first time, so much so that we have just booked our stay for next year making it our third trip!
The villa would more than meet anyones expectations of what a real "home from home" should be like.
We hired a car for the full week of our stay but other than transfer from and back to the airport and a couple of trips to the supermarket (can recommend the Hiperdino in the centre of Playa Blanca) and lunch in Puerto Calero we didnt use the car as it is hard to drag yourself away from such a relaxing, private place! Our days were spent lazing by the pool with our reading material, occasionally dragging ourselves off the sunbed and into the really warm swimming pool not to mention the even warmer jacuzzi! We had some really good meals in Playa Blanca, loads of different restaurants to choose from. This villa is ideal if you dont want to hire a car, the walk into the centre of the resort takes a steady 15/20 minutes (all on the flat,no hills). If you dont fancy the walk back there is a taxi rank in the centre of the resort and their prices are very reasonable.

The villa is immaculately decorated and maintained with everything you need to have the perfect holiday.
We would not hesitate to recommend the villa to anyone.

Two lovely weeks in Lanzarote

Review Submitted: October 24, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Just returned from two super weeks in Casa Verde. Absolutely loved the pool and hot tub and the villa is superb. So many thoughtful touches from the CD, DvD and book libraries to the welcome pack. Bernadette also supplies an info wallet which gives all the information you are likely to need to explore the island and also what are the best markets and supermarkets.
Julie and Colm deal with the onsite maintenance and cleaning. They are very friendly and approachable.
On the website Casa Verde looks superb --- It is ! -- Everything is spotless, and it really is a home from home
In the words of a recent tv advert - "It does what it says on the tin !"
--- Thoroughly recommended.

Casa Verde Delivers all it Promises

Kevin and Pauline Monmouthshire, South Wales
Review Submitted: June 15, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Our 1week stay was too short as we did not want to go home, Casa Verde delivered everything we wanted and more. The high standard of decor, furnishings, fixtures and fittings inside is mirrored by the spacious areas outside and quality of the amenities, the photos don't do it full justice. We will definately book again, a lovely peaceful relaxing holiday, relaxing by the pool, a dip to cool off now and again, later a glass of wine in the jacuzzi. If you haven't been to the island before then you need 2weeks to explore more of Lanzarote as it's difficult to leave all the pleasures that Casa Verde has to offer. Hat's off to Bernadette for allowing guests to stay in her lovely property, if we owned it we would probably want to keep it to ourselves and live there full time

Relaxing Holiday

Linda & Dave Wemyss Bay, Scotland
Review Submitted: April 7, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We had a lovely stay at Casa Verde. The villa was well furnished with an excellent array of dvd's, books and cd's for visitors to enjoy should the weather be a bit wild. The pool and hot tub weren't used as much as I thought as there could be a pretty fierce breeze and the thought of getting out of the water gave me the shivers! We were pretty lucky with the weather, some cloudy days and a bit of rain during the night but enough sun most days for my Scottish skin to handle!
The location is quite good but still a fair walk into the centre. If you want to get a big shop and don't have a car, we found it best to go to the Spar in town as there is a taxi rank just along the road and it only costs about 4 euros to get back, certainly worth it. I didn't mind the walk in but usually got a taxi back especially in the evenings as the street lighting leaves a lot to be desired.
We've stayed in a few villas in Lanzerote and I would say that this has been the best from a privacy factor. It has a pretty garden at the front and the rear is totally enclosed . The neighbours were mostly quiet, yes, there were a few dogs barking but mostly in the distance and mostly, I'd say, when their owners came home in the evening - you could set your watch by them! I can't abide noise and it never bothered me one bit.
We went to the Italian and Chinese restaurants in the nearest commercial centre a couple of times and they were very nice and also Molly's bar a few times with vague recollections of getting home - be aware of the large measures! Usually quite good entertainment there in the evening. We also tried a few in Playa Blanca and I'd say the standard was high but with the euro exchange rate being what it was, we certainly noticed our money didn't go as far.

All in all, we had a very nice holiday and would certainly recommend this villa to anyone.

The villa was spacious, clean and very well maintained - attention to detail was excellent! Bernadette, the owner, provided great information covering everything you could possibly think of, and then some. A lovely lady to do business with! I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wishing to holiday in Lanzarote.

Simon & Susan - Sept '07 & June '08 !!

Very pleased to say we were the very first 'renters' of the villa and were pleased enough to have been back since, taking more friends along with us. We have stayed at other villas in the resort, and for the same sort of fees, but this villa is by far the best. I'm sure we'd still choose the villa if we became millionaires !! Excellent facilities and with a homely feel, which make a change from the villas full of 'rental feel' Ikea products. Yes, the villa is at the 'back' of the resort, but it only takes a 10 minute walk to the front, just enough to work up your appetite and help digest on the way back. Playa Blanca is a change from the usual 'Blackpool' feel of other resorts, that is until it's spoilt by the British package holiday gang! Lovely villa, private location and a quality resort. No need to go anywhere else in Lanzarote !

Fantastic Villa, great heated pool and hot tub which we used every day.The villa was everything we asked for and more. The agents for the villa did an excellent job and were just a phonecall away if needed. The little extra personal touches made by Bernadette just added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We have been in villas in Playa Blanca before, but this villa was the best we have stayed in and we will certainly be booking again in the near future. All in all a fantastic relaxing holiday. Thanks Bernadette.

Casa Verde September 08.

Review Submitted: October 7, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
This villa certainly lives up to it's description and more. Impeccably presented with an extensive collection of books, dvds and games for those rare cloudy days. The large terrace outside has two eating areas, luxurious hot tub and even a cd player.
Bernadette gave friendly and helpful advice on how to make the most of Casa Verde and Playa Blanca.
We didn't use the gas BBQ as the restaurants in the resort are so good [about a 15 minute walk from the villa].
The restaurants we'd especially recommend are; La Boccaina,Brisa Marina,Almacen de Sol and Casa Pedro.
This was our third holiday in Playa Blanca and definitely the best.
We look forward to returning to this villa next year.

CASA VERDE AUGUST 2009

GOOZ LEICESTER, ENGLAND
Review Submitted: October 7, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
This was the third villa we had used in Playa Blanca in the last couple of years and without a doubt this would be our first choice to return too.
The welcoming touches as you enter the property starts your holiday off on the right foot.
The accommodation was immaculately clean and well furnished, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Any problems, however minor, only required a phone call to the managing agents and were promptly dealt with.
Externally, the pool and space were superb and the total privacy a bonus for sun worshippers.
All amenities were in walking distance, if you choose not to hire a car, and taxis plentiful.
There are a wide variety of eating places to suit all tastes in Playa Blanca, Marina Rubicon and by the Natura Palace Hotel, a mile or so out of the main resort.
I would thoroughly recommend this property.
