easter 08 was early ,when we flew out of east midlands we left behind a snow storm. on landing in palma the weather was a big improvement.we took a chance and went for the no1 bus option at just over 1euro a great alternative , it was less than 10 mins to the apartment + a 5 min walk , i would do this every time.we were 2 adults and 4 teenagers and there was ample room for all in the apartment. a view to kill for.5th floor no problem lift available alt all times .the no1 bus proved to be very usefull to move around palma especially when doing marathon shopping as we did. a short walk to the front takes you to the esplanade a foot path along the front that stretches miles.a nice 10 minuite walk takes you to the old town , the same takes you to the heart of the shopping.eating tips: can eduardo on the fish dockside great fish authentic mallorcan cooking, waiters very helpful ,very busy but very relaxed.la boveda in the old town traditional tapas again very busy when many around were not , once in your not under pressure to leave.like indian food? baisakhi on passeig maritim , no menu a selection of starters and main + desert is provided red wine and water offered inclusive a indian experience and you will not leave hungry.after 9 pm go to abaco in the old town for a cocktial in the most lavish and romantic setting you could wish for.
thanks for a great holiday james
