Excellent property for old town and beach.

Just as described! The very friendly and helpful owner met us as promised and we had one of the best family holidays for some time (we have three young teenage kids). Wall to wall sunshine, great amenities and fantastic views to wake up to. There are some fab restaurants in the old town - try 'Almazara' in C/Vallseca only a year old an ryun by a lovely young couple - an unbelievable five courses for only 25 Euros! The satelite TV is tempremental but we hardly needed it, simply take a few DVD's with you for those off times you are in. Very clean and sheets and towels changed after one week. Beach 5-10 min walk. Try walking to the Hotel Portixol for a lovely lunch. Great sea-food. Take the little train to Soller and have lunch at the 5-star Gran Hotel (they let you use the roof-top pool and jacuzzi afterwards...best view from any pool you will ever get...surrounded by the mountains..and catch the 50 (yes 50!) Picasso ceramics in the little railway station for free! Lots of modern art - visit Es Baluard for great temprary installations as well as a great permanent modern Spanish collection. And for teenage fun...Aqualand is 15 mins away and we had a great time there too. Thank you James for a great holiday!

cannot recommend this apartment highly enough , excellent facilities . The block is very secure and quiet despite being in a excellent position for all the central sights .

Magnificent apartment with magnificient view

Linkon Madrid, Spain
Review Submitted: June 25, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
I rented the apartment for 50th birthday celebrations with my grown up children. And it was perfect for that. Really representative. Well equipped, clean, big rooms and the view is outstanding. There was nothing more to wish.Yes, there was one problem, you could sit forever in the lounge admiring the view...simply...you just don´t want to leave the place. And there are a lot of things to do and to see in Palma.

100% Reccommendation

This spacious property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Our daughter slept better that week in the travel cot provided than she ever does at home! The bed was very comfortable - a big bonus!

The property details are 100% accurate - and the view of the bay of Palma has to be seen to be believed.

The owner (who lives locally) was friendly and helpful.

The three double bedrooms, and ample living accommodation, makes it perfect for large families or groups.

As stated in the property description, the beach and city are easily accessible. Our daughter loved the park next to the apartment block, with it's children's playground.

We will definitely return, and we would recommend without hesitation.

Easy access in the building for all with the lift

Christmas in Palma

Review Submitted: May 12, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2007
I stayed in the apartment over Christmas 2007 with my wife and mother-in-law.

The apartment was very clean and very spacious. The owner was very helpful especially when we got lost in the middle of Palma!

The apartment is located in a residential area of Palma so there's not too many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the city centre is only a few minutes away. The building is well maintained and the residents we saw were all very friendly.

This is an excellent apartment to spend a holiday and the view from the lounge window is great.

our easter in palma

easter 08 was early ,when we flew out of east midlands we left behind a snow storm. on landing in palma the weather was a big improvement.we took a chance and went for the no1 bus option at just over 1euro a great alternative , it was less than 10 mins to the apartment + a 5 min walk , i would do this every time.we were 2 adults and 4 teenagers and there was ample room for all in the apartment. a view to kill for.5th floor no problem lift available alt all times .the no1 bus proved to be very usefull to move around palma especially when doing marathon shopping as we did. a short walk to the front takes you to the esplanade a foot path along the front that stretches miles.a nice 10 minuite walk takes you to the old town , the same takes you to the heart of the shopping.eating tips: can eduardo on the fish dockside great fish authentic mallorcan cooking, waiters very helpful ,very busy but very relaxed.la boveda in the old town traditional tapas again very busy when many around were not , once in your not under pressure to leave.like indian food? baisakhi on passeig maritim , no menu a selection of starters and main + desert is provided red wine and water offered inclusive a indian experience and you will not leave hungry.after 9 pm go to abaco in the old town for a cocktial in the most lavish and romantic setting you could wish for.
thanks for a great holiday james

super Urlaub

Review Submitted: June 16, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
