A Dream Come True

Had the good fortune to spend winter '07 at this wonderful property with a million $ view over Nerja & the Med. The owner, Dan, was most helpful & he helped me with the many questions I had. The directions from Malaga to Nerja were perfect.
The place was spotless upon our arrival & everything was just how it was described. Everything worked & we never ran out of hot water in the shower.There was a guest book with info on restaurants, day trips and Nerja itself .
We took many day trips into the mountains & along the coast & by the time we left, it felt like we lived there. The beach was a 2 minute drive down the hill(many people walked).
All in all, it was a great experience & I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. For further info, feel free to contact me.

Owner's Response: Unlike many resorts, Nerja does not close for the winter as it is a working Spanish town with charm in abundance. It is an ideal place for an autumn/winter break. We often walk down to the beach and town in approximately 25 minutes.

This property is very well-equipped and the view beautiful. The blue book provided was very useful in finding places to go and offering advice on restaurants. The larger room was great in that there was plenty of room for all our 3 children to sleep, the fold-up bed was really big and comfortable. Also the fans were great to have and really helped in chilling down the rooms.
However I felt that the photos I had seen prior to booking were a bit misleading and perhaps need to be updated particularly to show the lounge as it currently looks and also the terrace views which dont have any bougainvillea growing on the walls. This is fine detail but were things that had attracted us to the property.

Owner's Response: The bougainvillea was removed by the gardeners since our last visit as the roots were cracking the wall. We have removed textual reference to it and will be updating the photos in September when we next visit. The lounge will also be totally refurbished in September with new sofas, new furniture, flat screen TV and airconditioning/heating

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks and had a very enjoyable time.
Very clean apartment, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a wonderful view from the terrace. Every day we had our breakfast at the upper terrace and enjoyed the magnificent view at Nerja and the Med.
The communication with the owner was fantastic. We got a lot of instructions and informations about the apartment, Nerja and the area around. Thanks a lot for the assistance.

Stunning location, with beautiful views from the huge roof terrace.
Nerja is a charming Spanish town with lots of wonderful bars and restaurants.
The apartment is well decorated and has everything you need. It is very clean and the layout is good. I particularly enjoyed lying out on the roof terrace with a glass of wine soaking up the sun!

Owner's Response: The terrace views are truly amazing and are what sold the apartment to us. When on the terrace looking out over the town and coast, relaxation is immediate! However, it is not a roof terrace as the lounge and both bedrooms open on to it.

We have stayed in lots of rented accommodation over the years and rate this lovely apartment with its stunning views as the best. In total, we have returned to it three times and regard it as our second home in Spain. It is clean and comfortable and fantastically equipped with everything that you could ever want. The outdoor space is large with enough room for several sunloungers, patio table and chairs. Just a couple of minutes’ walk away is what must be the best pool in Nerja with a selection of poolside bars and restaurants. The charming town of Nerja is approx 25 minutes walk away (or 5 minutes by car). Those wishing not to drive can catch the regular bus or take a taxi (which is not expensive). Nerja offers something for everyone and if you want to try the fantastic tapas bars, the owner is only too happy to steer you in the right direction!

This is a really nice, self contained holiday flat, about a mile from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Nerja, but if you want a more peaceful holiday, this is just right.
This doesn't mean it is isolated because, with the communal pool close by (with a cafe, restaurants and supermarket surrounding it), there is always something going on.
It is also very conveniently placed for days out in the car to places, such as Granada, Marbella (and closer resorts - Torremolinos; Fuengirola; Benalmadena, etc). Even a visit to Gibraltar is within reach.
The apartment has everything one would normally expect, plus a number of games (cards, dominoes) to while away a nice evening on the terrace.

A Little Piece Of Heaven

We arrived at the apartment late in the evening after a dreadful flight and an awful time with a Car Hire company at Malaga Airport. We were tired and very stressed, but after spending a short time sitting on the terrace looking down at the bright lights of Nerja and the moon shining on the sea, our troubles were soon soothed away. This apartment is simply a wonderful place to be - we were forced to spend a great deal of time sitting on the terrace after I fell in Nerja and cracked some ribs, but we couldn't have chosen anywhere better for me to recover! The views were wonderful day and night, the apartment had everything that we needed and the local shop and restaurants were more than adequate for our needs.
There was only one bad thing about staying there - and that was having to leave!!

A lovely place to stay with all you need in walking distance.
The villa is clean and well laid out, the information was good and the staff at the poolside restaurants and cafe/bars were very friendly.
The pool area was great with plenty of sunbeds to go around,we thoroughly enjoyed this holiday, our 2 teenage sons were quite happy too!!!
The position of this apartment was very good as there were relatively few steps to climb, some apartments are a long way up!

We spent three very enjoyable weeks in this apartment in late Jan/early Feb 2008. Glorious sunshine every day. The apartment was exactly as described by the owner, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The south facing terrace enjoys spectacular views of the sea.
The apartment is approx. an hour and a half from the Sierra Nevada ski resort and we spent two very enjoyable days skiing there. Nerja itself is a very pleasant town with narrow streets and full of character, very different from the usual holiday resort.
The owner has provided a very nice selection of books, DVDs and CDs together with a guest book containing useful information where to go, what to see and where to eat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and hope to return again. We would recommend it to anyone intending to visit the Nerja area.

Owner's Response: It is feasible to ski until 3pm and be back on the beach in Nerja for the late afternoon sun!
