We enjoyed our stay at this apartment
the accomodation was very good.
Excellent location the views great .Plenty to se from the balcony .
ships a cruise liners allin view .When they put their light on the ships moored at night it looks stunning.
You have everything you need at this apartment thoe the kitchen is small but has every thing their you may need .
IF you want to use the DVD you will have to pull the scart leed out
of the sky box and insert it in the back of the dvd else it wont work
Reverse it for tv.
We would recomend this accomodation to any one . you dont need a car busses run all the time and they ar cheep. .NO euro needed . .british tv sun etc home from home .We will be back.
Owner's Response: Dear David, Thank you for you kind review, I am sure it will help other guest. For their information (perhaps a little notice is required) to use the Digital box or the the DVD player you need to select the correct input channel on the TV. It is usually EXT1 for the box and EXT2 for the DVD.

It was lovely to return to a place that we visited 20 years ago (at that time a hotel) and have such a lovely holiday. It was in 1989 our first overseas holiday together and now 20 years later married with two children it was good to come back and share Gibraltar with them.
The property was clean and well maintained and with TV's with full cable coverage we were able to enjoy wonderful peaceful breakfasts and evenings on the balcony whilst the children caught up with their favorite programmes. Much needed after busy days out.
The bus service into town was regular and very cheap. We spent lots of time on the beach at Catalan Bay and had some lovely seafood meals at the Sea Wave Restaurant.
We got up to the top of the rock to see the monkeys, visited St Michaels Cave, had some lovely meals at the harbour resorts in town and took a trip to see the dolphins. In fact we filled two weeks with lots to do despite the fact that Gibraltar is only small.
Our only dissappointment was that the beach at the resort is now much smaller than it was 20 years ago. With possibly the tide and local builders having something to do with this.

We would have no hessitation in recommendinting this property to others.

Thank you for letting us stay Les and enjoying a lovely family time together. Our children, like us, will have very happy memories of Gibraltar.
Owner's Response: Thank you for you kind review Neil and Debbie. I am very glad you enjoyed your stay. I am sure other potential guest will find it very helpful when looking towards Gibraltar
You are very welcome to return anytime in the future

We got married in Gibraltar in May 2009 and hired this property for some of our family to stay in. Just sorry we didn't put the family somewhere else and stay there ourselves! It is a fantastic apartment, spacious, and very well equipped. As we stayed on the other side of the Rock near to the centre of Gibraltar, which is quite lively, on driving round to the apartment we did think it was a bit quiet and not a lot of activity there. But that is the beauty of the location, it is peaceful with just the sound of the waves lapping against the shore and of course the gulls. It is only a ten minute bus journey to the town centre and the buses are every 20 minutes or so and it is an excellent bus service. The buses do stop at 9 p.m. but taxis are not expensive and very efficient. The apartment itself is just perfect, spotlessly clean, right on the sea front, with a large balcony, lovely rooms and equipped with everything you could possible need. If you just want a peaceful holiday away from everything, this is the place to go. There is a small beach just a 5 minute walk from the apartment with a couple of bars and eating places there and a nice little mediterranean restaurant at the top of the road leading to the beach. There is even parasols, chairs and a cool box at the apartment for you to use on the beach. Gibraltar itself is just lovely. There is no problem with language or money and you don't get the hassle from people trying to sell you trips or trying to get you into the bars and restaurants, as you do with some holiday destinations. There are some lovely restaurants. Our favourites were The Lord Nelson in the Square, Pussers Landing and Charlies in Ocean Village - fantastic food at both of these and The Waterfront on the Marina, where we had our wedding reception. The food was fantastic and the staff are very friendly and made a special effort of decorating the table for us. Overall we had a fantastic time in Gibraltar and will definitely be returning and would hire this aparment again.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review, Jean. I am sure potential guest will find it a great help to them and they can be safe in the knowledge that everything possible will be done to promote their expections. Thank you for being such delightful guest. I certainly hope to hear from you again.

This property offers you comfort and space and the
chance to sit back and relax. We live in the country in
Spain so it is nice to sit and watch and listen to the sea.
There is no need for a car as the bus service is
excellent and cheap, there are a number of bars and
restaurants to choose from and we recommend a walk
round the new marina.
Owner's Response: Thank you for you kind review, John. I am sure it will help future guest.
Look forward to seening you again.

Perfect location - short bus trip on a very frequent service into town and 60p a single at time of writing. Apartment is large and will comfortably fit 3 couples. Small kitchen, but does the job unless you are planning a banquet. The large private balcony and the sunrises each morning are worth the rental alone. Communication with the owner was perfect and we would recommend this property to any Gib visitors.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. I am sure future guest will take encouragement from it. When My guest are pleased, I am Pleased

Gibraltar holiday at Both Worlds

Review Submitted: February 16, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment while on holiday in Gibraltar and I would highly recommend it to others. The apartment is well appointed, with three good sized bedrooms, each with a double bed. Two of the bedrooms have tvs while the lounge has a nice flat screen tv and dvd player. However I did not waste time watching television as the weather (even in winter) is nice and the view from the apartment is spectacular! The lounge and two of the bedrooms look out onto the sea and there are always a variety of ships and smaller boats sailing past or at anchor.
Directly beside the complex there is a bus stop. The buses run regularly and go into town, which is on the other side of the rock. The taxi service is also good and cheap but I usually used the buses. They stop running after 9pm however so at times it is necessary to catch a taxi.
I have found the owner very approachable and helpful, any questions regarding the apartment or other aspects of staying in Gibraltar have always been answered promptly. There is also a contact number provided of an agent in Gibraltar in case of any problems.
If you are looking for a break from busy urban life then I would suggest you seriously consider a holiday in Gibraltar and especially at this apartment!
Owner's Response: Thank you Alistair for you kind review. Hope to see you again year.
My guest can call on me anytime. I am always happy to help in anyway I can

Very nicely furnished flat, plenty of detail as to guides etc and helpful cleaning staff.
Pleasant hotel (Caleta) just a few minutes walk away, also a restaurant in Catalan bay called Seawave which had only just opened .
The city is a pleasant walk away.
Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.
Owner's Response: Thank you for you kind review. We aim to please. Glad you enjoyed you stay. If there is anything you'd like to see change in the future I'd be happy to consider.

Great Place to Stay !!

Review Submitted: September 2, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Superb apartment with everything you could need. Clean, tidy and pretty well maintained although the bathroom is getting close to needing a makeover it is perfectly adequate. Located on the quieter side of the rock with a pleasant 20 min stroll to the town or a short bus journey with a stop outside the complex. Spacious furnished rooms, air conditioning and a large private balcony overlooking the beach and with great views out to sea. The beach has limited access to non residents so is pretty quiet most of the time. The communication and help from the owner was very good with lots of information available. I would certainly use this apartment again an would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
