Reviews of Property: Luxury Caribbean style accommodation in close proximity to Disney

This is a excellent spacious condo in a lovely resort with 4 pools, one of the pools is right at the back of the condo. I would recommend this as an excellent base to explore Orlando, I would recommend a car this is a big advantage. The facilities are excellent in both the Condo and the resport and the resport staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time here and if you have kids I would strongly receommend a condo over a hotel as the extra flexibility is great.

The condo was huge and offered everything one could desire. It was fully equipped with, among others, TV, DVD and music player, oven, dish washer, fridge, toaster, washing machine, dryer etc. Bed linen and towels were more than enough. Merely the shower appliances did not quite meet European standard, the shower head was too small, hardly adjustable and had no hose. The resort was well taken care of. The pool area is wonderfully situated at a lake and has a small sandy beach equipped with sunbeds and sunshades.Since we were travelling around a lot we could not enough enjoy the ammenities of the resort, hence we would always recommend it as starting point for trips around Floriday. East and west coasts are approx 1 - 2 hours away (ie Cocoa Beach, St Petersburg). Miami approx. 3.5 - 4 hous. We would highly recommend voucher cards, such as Go Orlando Card (advance internet booking), with which a lot of money can be saved on free entrances to parks (Gatorland, Kennedy Space Center...), boat trips (Starlite...) and museums (Ripley's...) as well as discounts for shopping malls, restaurants etc. Watch out for so called tourist information centres, these are usually time sharing offices (they offer discounts on Disney tickets when attending their sales events). Good value for money: Angel's and Ponderosa all-you-can-eat. Don't miss the Old Town night cruises Fridays and Saturdays (voucher booklet for freebees and discounts in shops is available from eg Go Orlando or ask at the reception).

Stayed in this condo Nov 2008 with our daughter and her boyfriend. Been to Orlando a number of times and this was one of the nicest places we have stayed. The resort facilities are great and it was good to be able to go to the pool bar in the evenings as this is quite unusual in Florida. The owners were vey helpful and easy to deal with would recommend this place

We stayed here for 7 days and it is a very nice ground floor condo, located around 20 minutes drive from Disney and 35 minutes from Universal, Sea World etc. There is a small pool about 50 yards away and then the bigger pool next to the Club House (3 minutes walk). Property description is very accurate, so no point in adding to this. Staff are all helpful & friendly. Good value for money.
