Reviews of Property: Villa Millianna new luxury ground floor villa apartment in stunning setting

What a fantastic villa!We enjoyed two weeks here,the first week together with our grandaughter and her mum and dad.The views from here are quite stunning.Looking out to sea where ships pass.Don't forget your binocs!The pool is quite safe for young children,as Mia, our g'daughter discovered very quickly.She spent so much time in there,as did we all.
Nearby Avithos beach has two excellent tavernas and a beach bar.This beach is not particularly child friendly,but seek out Trapazaki and Spartia for them and the Lassi peninsular for teens where they will find an abundance of water sports available plus a rather nice beach bar where a wide variety of drinks and snacks help the day go by.There is much to see on this beautiful island,our fourth visit.
The villa was very clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen.
We also used the BBQ.
Queiries were dealt with promtly by a telephone call.
Barely 10 mins. from the airport,the villa is set in a very peaceful area with lots of green countryside between it and the coast.
There are several steps up from the car park which we did not find a problem. We are 64 and 71!
There is an excellent local restaurant too for that special evening dinner.Set in beautiful gardens.It's called The Orange Tree.Quite delightful.
All in all,a highly recommended villa which we hope to return to again.

We spent a really nice holiday in Villa Millianna the last 3 weeks of August 2009.
The Villa is fully equipped, situated in a very beautiful location, so close to many nice beaches: you can easily reach Avithos, Ammes, Ai-Helis, Minies beaches, Ag. Thomas, the little Spartia and Pessada beaches...
Dining in Kefalonia: in Argostoli port, PortSide (in front of Port Authority at the end of the seaside promenade): try the fantastic grilled octopus!
If you don't care driving a bit, there's a lovely fish tavern in Ag. Kiriaki: you can only eat their fishing of the day!
On the little beach of Ag. Thomas (end of the road on left) there is a terrace on the sea: the owner is Alexandros, You must try the best stuffed tomatoes (Ghemistà) and the best fried cod-fish served with smashed garlic potatoes (bakalado-skordalià) of the entire island.
Don't miss having a BBQ party beside the pool at night: the air in Kaligata is fresh and flavoured, and you'll find everything you need inside the Villa!

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Millianna and have had the Holiday of a lifetime. Our 2 boys and their friend spent hours in the Beautiful pool with its fantastic views. Angela the property Manager was very helpful. The Villa is immaculate and perfect for a base to enjoy the Beaches, Scenary and Restaraunts of Kefallonia. We would certainly give the villa, for anyone who wanted it, a great reference and hope to visit there again in the future. Mark, Wendy and the boys

Excellent villa, Highly maintained. Located very central and within walking distance to the beach, 15 minutes to argostoli which has loads of bars and restraunts.
Very helpfull owners and very easy to contact when needed.
Very relaxing holiday and will be returning next year.

Some lovely restruants and tavernas near by, and close to a sandy beach. Very good location.

Had a fabulous holiday and will definatly be returning here very very soon. 2 weeks just wasn't long enough.
