Great apartment

This apartment had everything you would need. It was accurately described on the website. It was very clean, well-maintained and furnished to a high standard. The only down side was that the pool was not available - it needed cleaning due, I think, to it being the end of season. It had been used prior to our visit so I would check first if this is important to you.
The apartment was in an ideal location - walking distance to the train station, the town center and beach. The owners and contact woman (Anne) were very helpful sharing their local knowledge on travel and where to eat. Nice and Monte Carlo were a short train ride away and well worth the visit. Local buses to nearby towns and Nice airport were very cheap (1 Euro) although the journeys did take twice as long as the train. Weather was warm and sunny and this was at the end of October! Overall the apartment was lovely and the scenery beautiful. I would recommend that you visit this part of the world but take plenty of Euros as it is expensive there as you would expect.

Summer Rental 2009

We have been to Cannes for the the last four summers and this apartment's location was ideal for us. It is close to the shops, market place, railway and bus stations, beach and for the evening all the bars and restaurants. The comprehensive information pack in the apartment was very useful and we would never have visited some of the places if we hadn't seen the collection of information leaflets. A visit to Beaulieu-sur Mer to see Villa Kerylos and Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is well worthwhile. Make use of the bus for other trips along the coast and inland it's great value at one euro per journey. The terrace has plenty of room for dining and the a/c was lovely after a hot day in the sun. The pool is an added bonus and the lady who supervises the apartment block was very friendly and always busy ensuring that everything was clean and fresh. Anne Sheary who provides the meet and greet service on behalf of Stephen and Monica was also very helpful and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment was lovely, and the air conditioning a blessing to us all! Beds were so comfy it was hard to get up. Loved the area: Cannes, Antibes, Monaco etc. ...We recommend a trip to Mougins – some lively restaurants. Also try “Le Jardin” – a splendid restaurant only a few streets away from the apartment. Thank you for a wonderful apartment..!

We spent one week at this apt and loved it. Very comfortable - had all the amenities. Walking distance to the beach and the train station. We enjoyed the pool everyday as well. Anne, who greeted us upon arrival, was charming and very helpful.
Thank you Stephen.

Apartment stay in Cannes

We have self catered in France several times and this was by far the best standard of accomodation for similar cost. The pictures on the website don't really do the apartment justice, and we could have gladly spent the whole stay sat on the terrace people watching. However we wouldn't have missed the delights of Cannes, for which the apartment is extremely well placed. A car isn't necessary as it is less than a 10 minutes walk to the train station which provides a great service up and down the coast, in particular we enjoyed visits to Nice, Monte Carlo and Antibes - but there is so much more to see all within easy reach.
We never return to the same place year after year but this time we have made an exception and have already booked the apartment for next year.
The standard of service from Stephen (the owner) and Anne (his agent in Cannes) was first class even arranging a Taxi to pick us up at the airport - which was a nice touch.

Apartment stay in Cannes

AlandShirl Newtownards, Northern Ireland
Review Submitted: August 8, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
Our family (2 adults/2 teenage children) stayed for a week at the end of July 2008. The apartment was first class and exactly as described - spacious with quality furnishings and a large terrace to eat out and relax on. The pool was lovely and the whole complex was well maintained and secure. The apartment was approximately 10-15 minutes from the beach and slightly less to the main shopping area. There is a supermarket on the corner of the street which was extremely convenient and a bakery and take-away pizzeria nearby. As expected, you could pay for sunbeds on the beach or use the public one for free (which was good enough). Great views of Cannes from the old town. Make sure you visit the harbour to view the impressive yachts. Would recommend a trip to Grasse - costs one euro on the bus which is beside the railway station. There is a Fragonard perfumery in the centre of Grasse with a guided tour and museum (all free).
We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment.
