Villa Rocio - fabulous!

For the first time ever, we wished our holiday could have lasted forever, we really did not want to leave. Everything about this villa is excellent - the owner Pepe and his lovely wife, the villa itself - so clean and beautifully presented; the location, the swimming pool, the privacy and the peace & quiet - heaven.
However, as I enjoy cooking, I found the lack of a full-size grill and oven to be quite limiting (indoor cooking facilities are a four ring hob, microwave with grill).
Balcon de Europa is a a short walk away - 10 minutes absolute max.
From the initial booking enquiry email to Juan, to handing the keys back to Pepe on our last day, I found the whole experience stress free and very professionally managed. For example, we had a problem with figuring out how to work the air conditioning. It took only 10 minutes from when I phoned Juan in the UK to someone calling to the villa to help us - how's that for customer service!
The restaurants recommended were also spot on.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Villa Rocio to family and friends and would like to thank Pepe once again for his kindness, reliabilty and professionalism.

Owner's Response: Going to a foreign place for the first time is not easy particularly with a small child. We ensure extra care is provided in a prompt manner even in the small things to avoid any incovenience to our guests.

I have no hesitation in recommending this villa because of its high standards of maintainence , extensive grounds , fantastic pool and close proximity to the lovely town of Nerja and its beaches.
We had a most enjoyable 2 weeks in August with great weather and Pepe looked after us all very well .
My wife and two children are already insisting we go back again next year !

The villa is in a good location; quiet enough but not too far from anything. The furniture,fixtures and fittings are high quality but limited cooking facilities (hob and microwave/grill). The garden and pool area are lovely and very relaxing. Pepe, the owner was very helpful in difficult personal circumstances (money and ID stolen in Alicante). If in Nerja again we would rebook this villa.

Everything about this Villa was excellent. From the start of booking to the end of the holiday ..just perfect. What can I say..The villa was beautiful, clean and well presented, exactly as advised .. the pool was lovely and kept very clean, and even the garden was beautiful with all the roses and busy lizzies!!
The location was lovely. Easy to get into the town. There was a nice bar/resturant en route so if you felt you wanted a break it was ideal! In the town there were so many places to chose from to eat and drink. The locals were very friendly!
I would like to thank Pepe,so nice, nothing was too much trouble for him and his son Juan. A real delight.

Beautiful Villa in a Fantastic Location!

Villa Rocio is a beautiful Villa within easy walking distance to a good restaurant en route to the main town centre of Nerja. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained by Pepe, the owner who was always as friendly and helpful as could be. The air-conditioning was a big success, especially with the children who were prone to over-heating at lunch time! The handover of the Villa was very well organised and stress-free - Pepe was exceptionally reliable. The location was ideal because it was totally peaceful but within easy reach of the town. We used the car to get to the beach because of all the stuff you need to take, but it would be walkable if you were feeling energetic - about 1/2 an hour's walk away I would guess. The restaurant nearest to the Villa was a good watering hole to break up the walk back from town after a meal out in the evening. The Villa was spacious and of course the pool was fantastic with beautifully kept gardens. Everything about this Villla exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return one day!

We had Nerja recommended to us and picked Villa Rocio from its description in the brochure and it lived up to a very high standard.
We were sent accurate information regarding the villa and area and everybody connected to this property were friendly and helpful.
The area is lovely with many good restaurants and the villa is within 5 minutes walk from the centre and we would certainly recommend the villa and area.

My 1st visit back to Spain for some years was an extremely pleasant experience.We had been told by a friend about Nerja's fabulous restaurants,and we found these to be outstanding.What we also found was a great place to stay,Villa Rocio.We were met by the owner Pepe,on arrival,and throughout the holiday he was on call whenever we needed him.The villa was lovely and all the furniture was of a high standard.The best bit was the large barbeque area and the fantastic swimming pool.5minutes walk to Nerja and some of the best restaurants in Spain
