We loved our stay in your appartment.

The appartment was clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home.
We loved having the English TV channels for watching some movies in the evening. The broadband internet was so handy for checking our mail and tourist information (restaurants). The view from the roof was fantastic. Pity it was too cold to use the pool.
We enjoyed staying in a neighborhood that was not 'touristy'. There were great shops and restaurants nearby. The metro was a 10 minute walk. The area and the appartment felt very safe.
A special bonus is how close the Nou Camp stadium is. We went to a match and it was a short 10 minute walk.
We would love to stay in your appartment again for our next stay in Barcelona and can fully recommend it to anyone.

My husband, two teenage sons &I spent a great week in this apartment. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for us. We returned late in the evenings and my sons watched tv and my husband and I relaxed on the balcony.Although there was a lovely Kitchen I only cooked pizza once as we spent most of our time out. We got a taxi from airport which cost us almost €30 but we returned to the airport by metro and train for a fraction of this cost by buying multi trip passes which we used all week on our transport. The metro is very efficient and easy to follow. I choose this apartment as I did not want my sons to be distracted by activities outside in the evenings nearer to Las Ramblas. The air conditioning in living and bedrooms was much appreciated as was the bottle of wine which Alberto had for us on our arrival. I would recommend this apartment

Luxury apartment (penthouse) with roof top pool

My friend and I rented this 2 bedroom condo in Barcelona. The owner Alberto was very accomodating and had a list of sights and places for us to see. It was all marble and had a great balcony. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. They only thing is it is about 10 Euros from the Rambla area so not a lot of resturants or stores for shopping. But it suited us fine.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. Only to clarify that the cost to reach Ramblas by taxi is 10 euros (15 min.) but by metro/underground is just 0,75 euros (15. min ride).

My wife and I travelled to Barcelona for the first time with our two children aged ten and twelve. We loved Barcelona and had a fantastic seven days there and our children like us loved the pool area, movie channels in english and internet.The beds were very comfortable and the whole penthouse was totally fine for us. It was also lovely and peaceful.

very expensive for what it was. certainly not luxury. nice lounge but second bedroom pokey with bunk beds. very small bathroom in need of updating, very small bath with old fashioned shower head. balcony very small only 2 sun loungers. we could not get into the apartment till 5 and once we settled in, realised why. the people renting it actually live there! there was washing left in the washing machine, bits of food in the fridge. clothes and personal effects all over the place. we felt like we were intruding rather than renting a holiday home. there was nowhere to put our clothes as all wardrobes stuffed with clothes.
we arrived one day later than expected (flight changed one day later by rynair)but still had to pay for that night, we feel he could have negotiated on that but insisted on full payment . the pool was not heated and much smaller than looks and no sun loungers, in fact nowhere to sit. the apartment was very dusty, we left it cleaner than it was when we arrived.
good location if you want to be near football stadium but quiet area with not much else around. good views by pool but balcony overlooks street and not very interesting.

Owner's Response: We have never had a review like that so we really regret that reaction but please note that in case of cancellation of the first night of your stay, with only a few hours before of your arrival!, you should pay for that night as legally defined. I don´t know if because of that you tried to injuriate our reputation but jus a few comments:
-We are flexible in your arrival (and departing) time if you inform us IN ADVANCE to try to fit with your schedule.
- The second bedroom, according to the web´s description, is a single bedroom but we can convert it to bunkbed for another person.
- We have add 2 extra wardrobes.
- Most of the apartments in this website are managed directly by the owners not for agencys, so they could be in use out of season. Many people prefer the feeling of a home away from home and not a typical touristic (and cold) apartment. Also you can enjoy our fresh food, welcoming wine, etc. and all that you can expect to have in your own home. In the washing machine we could leave some extra towels for your use when are not still dry.
- Balcony has 2 chairs, table and 2 sun loungers, as you can see in the pictures of the web. We never publish that we had more than 2 sun loungers or that the pool was heated. Pool is outdoors but you can enjoy it many months because of the mediterranean weather.
- Certainly, the area is more quiet and peaceful than the Ramblas but many people enjoy to stay in a neighborhood that was not 'touristy' but lively with many great shops (5 min. to the longest shopping street in Barcelona) and restaurants nearby. Certainly, if you prefer more noise by night this is not your place. Anyway if you prefer "action" in 15 min. by tube you can reach the city center.

"We found that the apartment was all that it had promised to be (even better) and was very comfortable for our week stay in Barcelona. The location of the apartment is good and very convenient. Pool superb (very private) just a few steps away on the terrace. The bus stops outside the door and the public transport system is quick, clean and cheap. We enjoyed our week very much. Particularly elegant and luxurious!"
