Our party consisted of 2 oldies, 2 twenty year olds and 2 15 year olds. We found the villa so spacious we all had room to do our own thing. The villa was very well equipped, we had a well stocked fridge when we arrived and all the rooms were bright and clean. The view from the balcony was stunning. The pool and gardens were well maintained, the pool was cleaned daily. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in a relaxing atmosphere. A 5 minute walk from the villa is a small bar and restaurant called 'Mountain Valley’ they serve excellent food. The town is a further 10 minute stroll away, with many bars & restaurants, our favourites: Turkish Ivy, El Nino & the Buzz Bar in Olu Deniz

We had a fabulous week at the villa. Our daughter loved the pool and we enjoyed the week relaxing and sunbathing. The Mountain View restaurant which is only a few minutes walk away was excellent for a meal or just an icecream. Although it is a resort we were always made to feel very welcome.
The facilities were excellent and whilst we did have a minor problem with maintenance during our visit, Yunus the on-site manager was excellent and dealt with the problem promptly and efficiently.

Holiday review for villa 85768

Review Submitted: September 27, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2007
We enjoyed the holiday immensely and felt well treated throughout our stay. A taxi was pre-arranged by Marc to take us to the villa, and when we arrived it was delightful to find the villa looked every bit as good as the pictures on the website. We loved the villa being just a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Olu Deniz and Hisaronu but close enough for it to be easily accessible. As a mixed group ranging from children to parents & grand parents we had a variety of interests but we easily found that everybody was catered for.
Most days were spent splashing in the beautiful waters of the Blue Lagoon and then relaxing in the villa's pool afterwards. We visited a variety of restaurants recommended by Marc for their good food and welcome to families. Our teenager experienced diving for the first time on an excursion which he found amazing. I would also recommend the market experience at Fethiye, particularly the fish market and historic market for crafts and of course rugs!
We were definately very pleased with our holiday and in particular the accomodation and can't wait to return!

We returned to Villa Alexander in 2009 having had a fantastic experience in 2008. The villa is wonderful, expecially with so much room and excellent facilities. We think this experience can't be bettered. We feel Marc, Yunus and the team take great care of us and are very grateful for this. We loved the whole holiday experience in Ovacik /Oludeniz/Fethiye so much last year we couldn't wait to go back. The villa continues to be a fantastic base for a great holiday. We were x 2 families this year and had some wonderful times. Highlight had to be the dinner at the lighthouse restaurant on the island in Fethiye bay - indescribable - the sunset , the meal and the whole experience will last us a lifetime. We also went to Kalekoy and did the wine tasting and had a wonderful meal at Levissi Garden - a real find and a must do if you are at this villa. Marc's recommendations are spot on and having been before we tried to venture further and weren't disappointed. Kalkan down the coast is an excellent day trip. If you decide to go for a boat trip, don;t go for the big touristy affairs in Oludeniz, try Calis beach where for slightly more, you can have a x 10 berth boat.Yunus and Ishmail organised this for us and we took our younger boys on a boat / fishing trip which was more relaxed, had plenty of room, and was great fun. Highlight of the day was lunch with a 17 course meze priouced from the galley - one of the best kids days out we have ever had. Great fun as well with plenty of stops to swim and snorkel. When on the bigger trips it is a bit of a herding exercise so we preferred this. Our favourite "relaxed " restaurant where we chilled out was the glorious and great value Mountain Valley. We had dinner, lunch and on one day a wonderful breakfast ( holidays after all !).

We love this villa location, would come back in a flash and are jealous of everyone who is there when we are not ! Thanks again to Marc for all his help with our hol. We hope to be back !

Amazing Family Holiday

Review Submitted: August 26, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have just had the most amazing fortnight in Villa Alexander and the surrounding area. The accommodation is wonderfully situated and more than adequate for our party of 8 (ages 47 - 4) - if you wanted a bit of 'me time' there was plenty of space for that. The restaurants within walking distance were fabulous and the short taxi ride down to the lagoon was cheap enough to do on a very regular basis, so everything olu deniz had to offer was also easily accessible. The wider area was well worth visiting with more organised trips and we can't wait to go back again to do the things we didn't get round to this time. The contact in Turkey was always on hand if we needed any assistance with anything, and everything with the villa was as described and photographed, although it was much more impressive in the flesh! The pool was brilliant - particularly for the children - and the airconditioning within all rooms in the villa meant that everyone had somewhere to retreat from the heat of the day when necessary. To summarise then, we loved everything about the accommodation and area and have recommended it to everyone we know!

Lovely Holiday

De-Lovely Hampshire
Review Submitted: August 13, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Had the most lovely holiday at this villa. The pictures don't really do it justice, loads of space and a big poolside for the younger kids to run around and for the rest of us to lie in the sun.

Everything you could want to be able to be completely sufficient with loads of glasses, very cool plastic ones for poolside, china, pots, pans then restaurants around the corner, or should I say up the corner at Mountain View!

We all had a great time, three generations of us, from hanging around the villa to spending the day at the lagoon. The older of us played cards on the big balcony in the evening and the children walked into Hisarano to enjoy the nightlife. Youngest would watch dvd's in the enormous downstairs lounge while we ate al fresco so everyone was happy.

Everything went very smoothly from the time we arrived and were picked up to when we left. Even had a lovely man pop in to make sure everything was ok.

Really can't recommend the place enough.

Fabulous

Review Submitted: August 7, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Just back a from a couple of weeks at this fabulous villa. Beautifully furnished, incredibly spacious, very well stocked with everything you could need. Gardens are lovely and well maintained, the pool is private and an aboslute oasis.

The owner and local agent took care of everything and the transfers were on time and totally without fuss. Welcome pack on arrival was more then adequate to get us through our first night and breakfast the next morning as we did arrive late at night.

Villa is near enough to the action that we never saw the children in the evenings after dinner but far anough away we couldn't hear it or see it. Loads to do with the beach nearby, paragliding, boat trips and a bit local sight-seeing.

Loved the bars along the beach at Olu Deniz and also the restaurant Cimbal out near the ruined town.

Definitely come back again.

Return visit from Fife

Fife family Cupar, Fife, Scotland
Review Submitted: July 23, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We came back to Marc's villa for second time this year having loved the experience in 2008. We brought another family of 4 and grandmother knowing there was something for everyone. As we knew the villa and surrounding area was fantastic we planned to spend our holiday spreading our wings a bit further afield and weren't disappointed. The villa continues to be a great venue for a holiday and it was pleasant to see the gardens maturing and the facilities being well kept as usual. We returned to Oludeniz restaurants ,into Kalakoy and Kalnac down the coast a bit.We used Marc's recommendations for restaurants and would encourage anyone using the villa to go to Kazilidi lighthouse restaurant, Sarnic in Kalikoy and Levissi Gardens in Kalakoy. The whole lighthouse experience was very special. Wine tasting at Levissi in the former mayors house looking out onto the ghost town with fantastic food as well- what a treat. Highlight every day has to be the terrace in the evening with a g & t and limes bought at Fethiye market- in a wonderful 30 degree heat at 8pm watching the sunset........Our family really love this place and we will be back when we can. Thanks again to Mark and Yunus for all the invaluable help in organising. JH

We have just returned from 2 weeks stay at this fantastic villa and what a wonderful time we had.

The villa is really special with plenty of space and luxury, 2 good sized shower rooms and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and utensils and the dishwasher is a must.

The pool is really nice, shoulder height all round so no deep end, the pool man came to us everyday to maintain it and to water the gardens.

We were picked up from the airport by the Aftercare driver and a few times they checked in on us to make sure everything was going ok.

It is about a 15 minute walk downhill to Hisorunu, the only really steep bit is just outside the villa, after that it's just a gentle stroll to the town, the Hotel Gonul is on the way if you want to stop for a drink or snack. Hisoronu is very good, lively with lots of restaurants, and cocktail bars, we did this most evenings then went to Azda for our supplies then got a cab back which cost about 12 tl which is about a fiver. Ask for Green Forest Villas when you get in (not Green Forest Hotel) and they know where to take you.
We went to the Talk of the Town drag show and the Copacabana drag show both in Hisoronu and both really good, Copacabana was funnier.

Hisoronu also has a monday market which is very lively.

OluDeniz is a lovely place, walk down the hill to the roundabout and get the dolmus it takes about 5 mins and cost about 50p each. Lovely beach front bars restaurants and shops, then another Azda, taxi (15 tl) back to the villa.

I would strongly recommend this villa, it is so peaceful both day and night with bars and nightlife just a short walk away. Marc, the owner kept in touch with us from the moment we booked and answered any questions we had straight away.

Fabulous Villa

Holiday Family! Buckinghamshire
Review Submitted: June 22, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Just returned from the most wonderful holiday. The villa is stunning, beautifully furnished, plenty of everything you would need in the kitchen from glasses and plates to knives, forks and pans.

Owner organised everything from the airport transfers, guy was waiting with a sign on arrival, to welcome pack, and beach towels were just a dream not to have to pack.

The location is great, the kids went into Hisaronu most evenings and we sat on terrace overlooking the pool, where we idled away most of the days. Villa is far enough from the nightlife that we didn't know it was there but close enough to walk in. Cooked some nights and ate out some nights, Mark, the owner gave us some great recommendations on places to go. Upstairs at Buzz Beach Bar is a must for lunch in Olu Deniz.

Will definitely come back again.
