We stayed at this villa from the 19th Sept 2009 for 2 weeks and would highly recommend it to anyone. Prior to departure, the service and correspondences with Dave and Maxine were excellent, friendly and highly informative. Detailed instructions and directions were also provided which proved to be brilliant leading us from the airport directly to the front door.
Onto the villa itself, all we can say is it was absolutely fantastic and really made our holiday, we found it to be much better than we could have ever expected, everything was perfect, spotlessly clean, and exactly (if not better) than described on the website. The property can not be any more than a few years old and is in excellent condition, a credit to its owners.
We found the location to be very good, close enough to anywhere we needed to go but peacefully quiet both while lying relaxing at the pool during the day and at nights. The shires is spotlessly clean and also well maintained.
It was really appreciated having somewhere so good to come back to after long and warm days at the theme parks and somewhere to comfortably relax at nights.
All being well in the future and we decide to head back to Orlando we would intend to plan our holiday around the availability of this villa and will certainly be recommending it to family or friends.

Family break in Florida

We had a fantastic time in Orlando and loved the villa- it had everything we needed. We had a great time using the pool and spa and found the rooms to be comfortable. The journey to Disney took about 15mins by car via the I4- the main road. The closeness to the I4 made it easy for us to drive to the West coast beaches and across to Cocoa Beach for the rocket launch. We had a brilliant holiday and enjoyed our stay in the villa. Maxine and Davids Villa

This was a god location for a typical Florida holiday expected by a UK tourist. All the Theme Parks eg Sea World, Magic kingdom very close by.
The House is great by anyones standard. The facilities within the villa are of a very good standard. It is the extras that we were impressed with. A very new PC, kept us in touch with our son in Texas and family at home. All telephone calls to the UK were free.
We love Florida. The weather can be sometimes unpredictable but it is never cold,
but even when it rains you can still go swimming in the pool at the Villa. We call it 'Hot Rain'
Maxine and David are just at the end of the phone if you have any problems. We didn,t have any. I would recommend this Villa to anyone visiting Florida. The Estate I would say is more upmarket and very quiet in the evening but thats what we wanted after a day at the Parks. Also the wild life around the villa is great as the villa has open aspects to the rear

Three generations of my family have just enjoyed a great holiday in Florida. The villa was everything we had been told it would be and more. It is exactly as shown in the photo's (inside and out- including lovely pool with great aspect) not like some we have been to. The owners, especially Maxine answered any questions very quickly. The management company sorted our minor problems promptly and the villa was lovely and clean.
What more can I say....It was wonderful.

Fun family holiday

We were a family group of 7 on our first visit to Orlando . The villa is in a fantastic location for all the parks. The description on the website is exactly how it is - spacious, spotless and very well maintained, with everything you could possibly need. The games room was a hit with both adults and children! The owners are very helpful and always responded quickly to any queries. There is a good Chinese takeaway close to the villa (next to Publix supermarket) - a godsend after a busy day out! I would not hesitate to recommend the property to other visitors and would certainly stay there again on any future visit.

Fabulous Spot for Disney Visitors

This home was absolutely lovely & a perfect spot for 2 families. Everything was very comfortable, clean & well maintained. The pool was great and the kids loved the games room!! The location was excellent in terms of getting to the various parks quickly & easily (we did 6 parks in 6 days) as well as handy to grocery store, gas station, convenience store, morning coffee etc. The neighborhood was lovely, quiet & beautifully kept. All in all, a lovely vacation spot & we would highly recommend Maxine & David's place to anyone interested in a Florida vacation, particularly those interested in visiting Disney etc. It was also very handy to have the computer to use - we looked up directions, GPS coordinates, weather predictions & daily happenings at the various parks as well as being able to keep in touch with home. Having free phoning to Canada was a real bonus as well. Thanks for a great vacation spot - we hope to come back again!!

One-man golf week

Whether for a single playing golf as I was, or for a family of 4 or 5 this villa is perfect in both its location and facilites.
The local management company could not have been more helpful when the key snapped in the door.
I liked being in a gated community and only 2 minutes from publix.
The villa had all the home comforts one has come to expect in an up-market Florida holiday home.
If I may, I would like to offer 4 areas of constructive critisism.
1.While the key box outside the main door is such a sensible idea,having the key attached to the big block of metal was a definite design fault which i feel contributed to snapping the key in the lock.
2.The web site advertised my 6 days in pounds but I was charged in Dollars which turned out to be quite a difference!
3.I thought the poolside furniture left a bit to be desired considering the villa could actually sleep 8 people.Only 2 sunbeds were available and not very comfortable at that.
4.I thought charging extra to use the safe was a bit penny-pinching.
All that said,its a lovely villa and I'd love to return if you'll have me.

Beautiful home, I could not imagine a better value! Very easy to get to all of the attractions. Just have to remember to start the whirlpool early in the day as it takes a while to warm up. Would not hesitate to come back again, in fact I have sent several people the link to the home. Hopefully it doesn't get too popular to drive the price up or make it difficult to reserve!

the villa is very well maintained. It's a spacious, light and airy villa i would recommend it to all my friends. The location was good not too far from the Disney parks. It's all on one level so good for wheelchair access. Will be booking to go there again. Thanks Ursh & Ste

This was our third visit, and our friends second to the West Haven estate. The villa is superb and super value for money. The pre holiday communications with the owners was super from the start, with our initial enquiry dealt with in a matter of hours even though it was late on a Saturday night. All other emails were answered very quickly with nothing seeming to be too much trouble.
The Shire estate is not yet finished but it made no difference to our holiday at all. The villa has great views and we were not overlooked. The main bedroom has a bed the size of a tennis court, it is so big. The second master bedroom has a Queen sized bed, both with on suite bathrooms.
The villa has all the facilities to make it an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
The pool and Jacuzzi were super and had a lot of use throughout the day, a great place to unwind, especially after visiting theme parks. We paid extra for pool heating and felt the benefit in the Jacuzzi. There is a new broadband connected computer in the villa for guests that got good use while we were there, checking things like attractions etc.
Overall this holiday was enhanced by the stay at this lovely villa, and we would certainly come back to this estate and villa, and have no problems at all in highly recommending it.
