Reviews of Property: Nerja Town Centre

We have stayed in this apartment several times and always have had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is very comfortable with all the mod cons and is situated in a very convenient location. Our two boys love the pool and the gardens are always very well maintained. The apartment is within easy access of all amenities, well stocked supermarkets and a great variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. We hope to go back again this year!

We are regular visitors to Nerja and this is our third time returning to this apartment, once again we had a fantastic time;
The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped which makes eating in some nights easy in a relaxing atmosphere. There is a feeling of spaciousness throughout the apartment; the large bathroom has both a shower and a bath, a separate kitchen, living and dining areas all complemented by marble floors, ideal for family living
The pool and garden areas are well maintained and the large pool is great for both children swimmers alike
The location is perfect; easy walking distance to the town centre and great restaurants, no need for car hire, taxi and bus stops are close by if you fancy a trip is Frigiliana or the nearby shopping centre, the Spa is on your doorstep and one of Nerja’s smaller beaches directly across the road

Stayed in the El Chaparil Beach apartment last year and really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment.

Six of us stayed for a week with absolutely no problems. Beautifully positioned and absolutely spotless. Nice bottle of wine was waiting for us on arrival and the following morning our cleaner popped in to make sure everything was in order and if we had any requests.

Apartment is situated about a five minute leisurely stroll into the beautiful town centre. Area is very safe, civilised, child friendly and very well kept. The beach is visible from the apartment, about fifty feet away.

I found no problems with the water as others did and the shower is in a nice spacious bathroom. Decor was ideal, with a spanish theme and the air co was perfect. The television had english channels which was nice to keep up with news at home and we were also left plenty of lilo beds, arm bands, buckets and spades which again was a nice touch. The swimming pool is enclosed by the apartment block, giving you plenty of privacy. The pool was cleaned every morning and the grounds surrounding it were immaculate.

The cleaner came three times during our stay, non-intrusive and left the place sparkling. On our last day we were flying late and were put under no pressure to be out of the apartment earlier in the day.

I needed to phone the owner on the way to ask for directions and found him and his wife to be very friendly and helpful and offered us any assistance we required. There were plenty of brochures and maps of the region in the apartment when we arrived.

All in all, a great holiday in a beautiful location. A part of Spain which has remained untouched from the mass tourist spots. I highly recommend this property as it more than met our expectations and found it ideal for all the family, young and old.

We spent 2 weeks in Chaparil in July and really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was lovely and bright, simply furnished but yet with all the necessities. Huge Pool for the kids and only a few minutes walk from all the restaurants & bars in Nerja. We found the apartment clean and tidy and the Champagne on arrival was a nice touch. We will return - Niamh

On the plus side the apartment block is well maintained and managed and the location is good - close to the beaches, bars and shops.

On the negative side the apartment wasn't the cleanest when we arrived, the decor is looking really tired and in need of updating, the hot water tap doesn't work in the kitchen and the satellite TV was also broken.

It's also really, really noisy if you're sleeping with the windows open - bins being emptied across the road, building work and treffic due to beach access nearby.

Recently stayed here with my wife & 2 year old son. Location is excellent, personally it's my favourite part of Nerja and within easy walking distance to plenty of good restaurants and bars. There are also several supermarkets within a few minutes walk.

Apartment is on the first floor and there is a lift. As the other reviewer mentioned, the shower/hot water is a bit tempremental and we couldn't get the dining/living room shutters closed so was very hot late afternoon. If you are hiring a car, on street parking is rarely a problem and is safe.

My only criticism is that the property was not as clean as I would have expected on arrival. Maybe the owner should have a word with their cleaning company?

All in all, a comfortable enough apartment given how much time you probably spend their whilst on holiday and certainly in a very convenient location.
