Simply stunning

Review Submitted: May 15, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
We have just spent the most wonderful week in this wonderful apartment. Everything completely lives up to (and probably exceeds) the impression given on the website and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and appointed - everything that we needed was there. The setting is magnificent and the views of the headland and Coverack village are beautiful. We would breakfast on the balcony and watch the fishermen retrieving their overnight catch from the bay below - delightful.

Coverack itself is charming and unspoiled and the walk from the apartment to the village along the coastal path is beautiful. If like us, however, you dine at the local pub and then return home by this route remember to take a torch!

The location provides easy access by car to some of Cornwall's most stunning scenery - we were particularly impressed by Kynance Cove and Lizard Point. A little further afield is the Eden Project which is a 'must see' and our return journey from the latter also provided us with an opportunity for a delicious meal at The Norway Inn (recommended by the owners of the apartment).

But, despite all our sightseeing trips, it is the apartment - both the accommodation and the setting - which is the abiding memory of our stay. We walked to the end of the headland one day and looked back at the grand old building in which we were living. Perched on the rugged hill top it looked remote and romantic and we could almost imagine that we had been taken back to a gentler and more civilized age - and, in a way, we had.

If you are considering booking this apartment for a quiet or romantic break then do not hesitate - do it now. We have already booked for next year!

For the second year running we have spent a wonderful, relaxing week in this beautiful apartment - and we have already booked up for next year. If this isn’t recommendation enough I would simply add that the accommodation is superb, the location is stunning, the village of Coverack is delightfully unspoiled and that, whether you wish to explore the beauty of Cornwall or simply have a totally relaxing time pottering between the apartment, the gardens and the village, you couldn’t find a better spot to stay.
I strongly recommend anyone thinking of booking to go ahead and do so – before some other lucky couple beats you to it!

Fantastic Holiday

We have just returned from a week at the Coverack Headland apartment. We had a fantastic time. The apartment was clean and modern with amazing views. Coverack itself was a lovely little place and the walks around the coastal paths were stunning. The apartment was also a good base for visiting other great places on the Lizard Peninsular. We loved Kynance Cove, Mullion Cove and Kennack Sands. We welcomed the information provided by the owners and enjoyed a few of their recommended eating places, in particular The Ship Inn and The Wave. I can't imagine a better spot for a holiday and we have already decided to book again, even though we hardly ever go back to the same place twice.

Breathtaking Cornwall

This is the ideal place if you want to get away from it all; the apartment is situated in a large house that is on the cliff, so you have the bonus of unspoilt sea views from the lounge. My visit was at the beginning of March and the weather was wonderful, chilly but I was welcomed by brilliant sunshine for the majority of each day.

I was left a complimentary bottle of wine by the owners, which is a really nice welcoming touch. All mod cons are included including a dishwasher. I cooked every day and found the cooker and hob really easy to use and plenty of utensils, cutlery & crockery are available.

My favourite part of the day was being woken by sunrise and having breakfast on the balcony (wrapped up I might add), watching the day start and the feeling really close to nature.

I have returned from my short trip completely rejuvenated and refreshed. It is the perfect winter getaway from the city. warm and cosy inside if the weather gets a little... British... but situated in close proximity to many beautiful parts of Cornwall if you can tear yourself away from the view!

I'd recommend anyone going to the Roskilly Organic Farm for icecream to visit Inlight skincare - an organic skincare company that has a shop (and labratory) for its truly wonderful products. Follow the signs for 'herbal shop' before the ice cream parlour. Also, Lizard Point is a breathtaking experience.

For those coming from a distance or alone and don't want to drive the full distance, I travelled to Exeter by train and then hired a car from abbeyford car hire. Excellent service & delivered my car to the station on a Sunday. Abbeyfordcarhire.co.uk

I can not recommend this apartment highly enough. I urge to you take a trip to one of the most beautiful places on earth, you'll not regret it.

This flat lives up to everything you see on the internet. It is well presented, clean and with all equipment you would need for a holiday.
The view is to die for and anyone who loves the ocean would be happy to sit in the window and never move.

Great property - as good as advertised. Glorious outlook, very comfy, though needing a sofa as well as individual chairs.
Village really nice and very accessible. Great breakfast venue - The Wave. Good restaurant - Bay Hotel.
Best restaurant the New Yard (I think) near Mawgan.
Recommended.

The apartment is spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, superbly equipped and has stunning views, simply the best accommodation we have ever had. We've had several email exchanges with the owner who was always friendly and very helpful. We'd certainly highly recommend this place to a friend or anybody who'd like to have an exceptionally good and peaceful time in a beautiful place. Even the rainy days were fun! Coverack is a lovely village with a good pub and the walks around the village are truly beautiful.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The apartment is lovely. The views are incredible. It is finished to a very high standard and all the equipment is of good quality.
The directions and paperwork that was sent by the owners was most helpful. The recommendations that they made for local restaurants were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We would definitely return for another break and have told some of our friends about it too.

What a Great View

There is truth in advertising--this rental matches the pictures on the website perfectly. The views from the apartment are just as the pictures show, the decor is lovely, and the amenities are all we needed to have a great stay.
We had a splendid holiday in the Coverack area--a picture-perfect village in an amazing setting. The location is great for seeing and walking all of the Cornish area. We could take great hikes right from the apartment building as well. And sitting or dining on the deck or within the apartment both presented the most spectacular scenery. There is a great restaurant on the waterfront in town as well as a cafe that has wireless internet available along with good food. The other shops in the village have great items as well as a small green grocer and a baker on the main road.
We highly recommend this rental property.

Unique destintation

We spent a week here at the end of May 08.
We had a wonderful time, here are the advantages:
Beautiful views of headland
Excellently equipt and furnished flat
Within easy walking distance of the lovely village of Coverack
Lots of attractions within driving range
Disadvantages are that you really need a car both to get there and to get to the attractions nearby.

We would particulalry recommend the open air theatre at Minack.
