family vacation

Our family spent a week at the villa this June. Making arrangements with the owner was extremely easy and they were very helpful. The villa has incredible views, a pristine swimming pool, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely patio. The bedrooms are all very nice and plenty of bathrooms for a large group. The small village is very nice and it is a good base for daily excursions. Local people are very friendly. Camel beach was a great spot that is close by, and Lake Baha was wonderful. Lots of good restaurants! Definitely need a car.

Just spent the most relaxing week at this beautifully presented villa, with it's wonderful views and a pristine pool that is maintained daily.
Yalikavak was perfect for us -not to big and not to small with many different bars and restaurants to choose from.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this special villa. The furniture ,pool and equipment were first class.Sitting on the patio watching the fantastic sun sets was magical.Being met at the airport with a car was ideal and saved any stress in locating the villa. Local restaurants were good and very helpful in providing vegetarian meals. An information book in the house suggesting local points of interest and some maps would have been helpful.

Just returned from a week in this beautiful villa. The view and standard of accommodation were both excellent. I would recommend hiring a car because the main village of Yalikavak is about 8 mins drive away. We went with our 9 and 2 year old and both had a great time. This was our first time to Turkey and we would definitely return. Thanks Sandra for all your help and efficient communication.

Yalikavak Villa

Review Submitted: February 21, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
We stayed at this villa Sept 2008.

We were collected from the airport as arranged, the driver being very helpful.

The property was in excellent condition throughout, the pool was the cleanest I had ever seen.

The double room on the top floor was enormous, with a balcony with a view over the bay

The two twin rooms were well presented with plenty of space

The town of Yalikavak has an excellent market on Thurs, and is full of resturants, around the pretty marina, especially good were the Windmill and Ali Baba.

The owner of Ali Baba was also the Turkish agent for the villa, so we always had a contact point, and she was very helpful

Weather was perfect, bright sun shine all day, every day, but not to hot.

Holiday May - June 2008

Yorky Wells Somerset England
Review Submitted: February 20, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2008
We have stayed twice in this holiday villa and found it to be excellent. The views are to die for. The weather has been superb. The villa was better than we expected and the facilities were quite luxurious. The alfresco dining was what we consider a relaxing holiday is all about in such a superb setting and magnificent views. To fully enjoy this villa a car is advisable. We visited many little villages on the coast where there are excellent restaurants in the most beautiful of settings. It would be best to have basic food available on arrival as the supermarkets are a few minutes drive away. The pool was excellent and always crystal clear. Yalikavak (5 mins in car)is the nearest centre with many local shops and restaurants which we used regularly .We found Turkish people very friendly. Bodrum is a great place to visit and is only about 9 miles away. Access to the villa does entail a short section of road which is quite steep . The villa is one of only seven detached properties on the site. We were very pleased to have chosen this villa as it was one of only three which have the superb and unrestricted views. This made the holiday. We shall certainly be going again.

I would highly recommend this villa, we had a wonderful holiday, the pool was a god send as the children were always in it. The views are fantastic from the villa and the market is a great place to visit as is the town itself. We will definitely book again.
